Shelves that used to have no room for another box of mini's now only hold a few boxes of a random selection. Glass cases that held thousands of cards now only a single layer of 10-20 cards displayed. A shop that used to be Visions Cards and Games, now known as "Blurred Vision with Cards and Lames." I don't make that up someone standing outside the store did. Some people say there was the in-people, like and inner circle with the owners, yeah there was, it felt good to be liked by the owners but it was because I was really into MTG and not Vanguard, Yugioh, Pokémon, or Warhammer. I can walk out with several books under $10 total. It's very crowded with boxes of books and bookshelves to the ceiling all over, but it has a sort of cozy, old feeling. The workers are very kind and helpful. This is a bargain bookstore with a changing supply, so go in with an open mind and about 30 minutes to kill, and you'll walk out with an armful of books and money in your wallet.

Ed runs the shop solo and has been in business for 30 or so years, if I'm remembering correctly. He's very friendly and was expert in helping me pick out decent looking frames and mats for what I had, and advising on the sizing of the prints. I suspect you probably pay a little more than at a chain place, but I don't have much basis for comparison. A great old fashioned small business -- he even trusted me leave with the framed prints and come back the next day with a check. Definitely recommended.
