This place is a massive 60,000 square feet featuring over 150 booths! This place is inside the historic Montgomery Fair building within the Eastbrook shopping center. For those of you with mobility issues, worry not, they have an elevator in the very back. Do be careful with the merchandise. If it doesn't fit in the elevator, ask for help. When I entered I was warmly greeted. Take note that if you carry a large purse or backpack you WILL have to leave it at the front desk. The store is neat and clean and everything is well organized. The variety here is phenomenal. There is a bit of everything. This is a great place to find second hand books on a variety of subjects. You can even find text books. You can find wedding gowns, clothing, jewelry, home goods, tools, furniture, you name it, here. The prices range from a steal of a deal to high end but if you have cash, some are more than willing to make a deal. Many items were already incredibly cheap. I found a heavy duty solid wood kitchen table with four sturdy chairs for $30! The staff here is friendly and helpful. I'll be honest, my get up and go gave out on the main level. I'm going to have to make another trip to see everything. If you like treasure hunting then give this place a try. It's a neat place to spend several hours.

I've twice tried to shop at this store. On both occasions I've arrived around 4 p.m. and both…read moretimes the store has been closed. The signs on the store and multiple websites state that the store's hours are 9:30 to 5 Mon-Sat. I came by a few months ago around 4 store closed up lights off everyone gone home no sign on door indicating why they closed early. Today on my attempt to shop here I pulled up saw a closed sign and and 3 employees staring out the window at me like I was cuckoo for trying to shop at 4:00. Frustrated, I emailed to the address on their website indicated for feedback to see if they actually stayed open until 5. I received a quick but terse response from the general manager stating that they closed early for "inclement weather" for the safety of the employees and that it had never happened before today without advance notice. First, what they called "inclement weather" I call rain. Traffic was abundant and none of the surrounding businesses were closing early. Secondly, yes it has happened before and stating that it isn't so is an implication that I'm telling a lie. Not a very nice way to treat a potential customer who rarely gets to shop during the bankers hours that this business keeps. If I were a vendor I'd certainly be asking myself if this business is even keeping the paltry hours that they are supposedly open. Or do they just shut it down every time it rains, the wind blows or a bird poops on their windshield? If you're a vendor here and not selling much it may just be because we can't buy your goods through a locked door I do try to support small business but those that keep hours that are unfriendly to folks who work for a living and in essence call me a liar are doing their best to keep myself and other shoppers out. I'll take the hint. Will I try it again? Nope.

Although not everything in this mall is old - or considered an antique, 90% of the items found in the different dealer booths ARE antique or vintage. The mall is very, very attractive and there are beautiful antiques, dating from the 1930's back to the mid 1800's. It is beautifully decorated - you can see that each of the dealers in this mall take pride in their areas and in the merchandise they offer for sale. It was a delightful experience. You were made to feel welcome from the moment you walked in the front doors - without being dogged by those who worked there. Yet, those who work there are more than helpful - knowledgable about what they are selling - and more than willing to call the owners for more information on an item if needed. I rate this a first class antique mall!
