This was the closet coffee place to the hotel we stayed at, which had pretty bad quality coffee pods for the in-room coffee machines. I got coffee here two days in a row while visiting. I prefer to avoid the big coffee chains and seek out locally owned spots. This reminds me of my usual coffee stand here at home. The coffee isn't super fancy or painstakingly crafted, but they make a pretty decent latte at a fair price here. Baristas were friendly. I was on my last day in Bend, and needed a caffeine boost for the drive home. I love trying places that have unique flavors and combinations, but was struggling to find one that had this and also was a drive-thru. I did have to wait a few minutes before being greeted, but the barista was nice and prompt with taking payment and presenting me with a delicious cardamom latte. I would have loved to see descriptions under their offerings; I'm not sure what the pink items are on top, but they tasted like roses. It wasn't overpowering or overly sweet - They were the perfect compliment to the cardamom flavor. I would definitely be back just for that latte alone. read more

i got an iced latte and let the barista choose the flavor so i'm not sure what it was but it definitely didn't disappoint, but they have a variety of drink options other than coffee as well AND you can add CBD to any drink! the bagel breakfast sandwiches are good, very decent size and you get to choose what kind of bagel and if you want ham or sausage. i got a jalapeño bagel with sausage, but they also had plain, cheddar, and everything bagel options. they also had a nice little selection of monthly drinks that included a french toast mocha! very friendly staff when i went, would recommend Perk Avenue for all of your quick pick me up needs :) read more

They'll steal your tips, but they also have really good coffee. Two times I've gone there with a visa gift card. The lady will say "do you mind if I sign for you?" I'm like sure. But they realized that I missed the question with the tip. Hmmmmm did she add a tip for herself I thought. I went back the next day. A different girl was there. Both had dark brown hair. Same thing. Except this time she just held the tablet close to her. Then I said "hey I need a receipt." She then had to cancel the order and re-do it. (Probably for fear of us seeing that she added a tip) It was awkward and took her about 3-5 minutes of us sitting there to have her figure it out. She re-rang it. My wife and I both knew what happened. Anyway, they still have amazing coffee and good prices, but they just have sketchy girls that work there so watch out! First time visitor Perk Avenue this morning. My blended truffle mocha is smooth and delicious enough to be both sugar-free and decaf (so I don't ramble or sweat in interviews today!) Great job on the drink! Very pleasant attitude from barista. One star missing for the unclear menu prices. It does actually appear as if prices are simply posted at the top for 12 oz., 16 oz, and 20oz., but then near the bottom center is tiny font with little pieces of paper updating prices of blended drinks which are labeled on menu as "ice Rages" next to Italian soda. That's unclear, but my drink was already made. The barista had to point out and describe where my order was on the menu. Also this young woman was either distracted in her communication, or maybe a bit nervous about pricing questions. She did great though, and the cold drink is perfect. When traveling all I really ever want is a good cup of coffee. A local turned me on to this place and I love it. When on the road I often find myself at the chain coffee shops because the coffee is consistent. So when i find a local shop I'm a huge happy camper! This is a lovely little drive up shack. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. They have all sorts of caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages along with great grab on the go food items. So wherever I go, I take the time to find the very best espresso available. When I visit my relatives in Bend, Perk Avenue is that spot. The coffee is *awesome*, you get it *super fast*, and the people there are *super nice and fun*. They even put me in a good mood *before* I get my espresso, and to be honest I didn't think that was possible. Plus it's a locally owned family business, which I am always glad to support. If you are staying anywhere in Bend (and especially at the Shiloh or Riverview which are very very close), this is where you should go. But even if it's a little bit of a drive, the time you save getting your coffee quickly here vs. waiting in line somewhere else will more than make up for it. Great little drive up coffee place- fast friendly service and a good cup of coffee- I tried the Mexican mocha which is a cinnamon mocha similar to traditional Mexican hot chocolate- a favorite of mine but unfortunately it was just to sweet for my taste- based on the menu I kind of expected that would be the case but again that's personal preference- if you love those sweet flavored dessert type coffee drinks you'll probably love it but to get five stars from me they'll have to add more options for those of us that prefer the flavors to not overwhelm the coffee- I would go back- maybe try "half-sweet" or a traditional offering read more
