Very friendly service, really good coffee, and a beautiful setting (dog friendly) overlooking the river.

Ok so this became my favorite spot for coffee, which also included amazing views of Deschutes River. The service is always great. The drinks were amazing. I had the Velvet Elvis and the Carmelicious on the numerous days I came here. They were both the perfect blend of coffee and sweetness. Hands down the best coffee spot in Bend in my opinion.

Love this spot! The food was delicious. I also had a chai latte that was one of the best I've had. Dogs are welcome on the patio which is great. The patio looking at the river is stunning. When it's warm out this spot is great. Good walking and parking around this area. Lots of pastry options. Delicious coffee spot!

I make a point to come here every time I'm in Bend, for a variety of reasons. The staff/service: 10/10 (fast even when they're slammed) The coffee: 10/10 The vibes (the view!): 10/10 The pastries (specifically the cinnamon knot and the cardamom/ocean roll): 15/10 omg I dream about these things Parking is easy and there's plenty of seating indoors and a ton outdoors overlooking the river.

    Dirty Hippie Caramelicious

*Dirty Hippie. Iced. Ask for the Espresso whipped cream! 16 oz includes a double shot. -bestie dirty chai I've had. the chai and espresso are perfectly balanced without the other being overpowering. 10/10 *Breakfast burrito- small but flavorful! 7/10. *Ocean roll- good if you like cardamon (its vanilla's spicier sister) 8/10 *Carmalicious- its tastes like caramel while still tasting like coffee. Not artificial at all. Its what you wish Dutch bros tasted like but never does. 10/10. *$24 for 4 items. Great value and way better than all the coffee chains. About a 25 minute wait but well worth it! Plenty of outdoor seating with great views of the river to enjoy your coffee.

Delicious coffee and pastries with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, walking distance of all the great places to see around Bend! We stopped in after some shopping and really enjoyed their coffee and the view by the water. Would definitely recommend! It seems like they have a lot of fun events going on too!

Stopped in for a coffee on Saturday morning and was great by a very friendly barista!! Kiara was very sweet and quickly took our order. The killer bee was one of the best coffees I've had in awhile and sipping it out back by the river was a vibe! Wish we were local so that I could visit more often!

    Appreciate the clarification.

Great local spot down by the river. It's a little oasis inside from winter weather or a hangout on the back lawn during summer months. Operating out of a craftsman style mill house, the vibes are quintessentially Old Town Bend.

Looney Bean Bend is an absolute find. We loved the riverside vibes and a laid-back atmosphere that screams 'chill.' We stopped by for the first time and couldn't resist the Dirty Hippie and Velvet Elvis--each sip was delicious. Pair that with an almond croissant and some velvety banana bread, and you've got a sweet symphony of flavors that's hard to beat. Afterward, we strolled along the river, soaking in the scenery If you're looking to caffeinate in style -this is the stop! Staff: Great service.

this little gem is slightly tucked away next to a pay to park parking lot!! there's lots of outdoor seating & a couple of tables inside as well! the staff was friendly & helpful when trying to decide what to order :) i got a dirty chai w/ whole milk & it did not disappoint they had breakfast sandwiches & pastries that also looked delicious & i will be trying next time!

Who is out here giving this place less than 5 stars? Seriously this was one of my favorite places in all of Bend. Not only were the smoothies fantastic, and the sweets were good, but the backyard area with a direct line to the water makes you feel like you're in a private garden or at the back yard of your rich aunts. Seriously, I love bend and I love this coffee place. The service was quick and theres tons of places to sit. Even with how stunning the backyard space is we were able to find a table no problem. It was a great way to relax between a bit of shopping down town and its a bit tucked a way so it really feels like a find. Would definitely come back here every time I'm in town.

Cute vibes, fantastic service, and I've never been offered espresso whipped cream but it's so good!! Will be coming here again

Great coffee, great food, and great atmosphere! Ample seating (indoor & outdoor) and very friendly staff. Ocean Roll was amazing. Breakfast Burrito with the spicy sour cream was also very good (and this is coming from someone who doesn't like eggs)!

Ask the Community - Watershed Coffee Roasters

Do they have blended drinks as well?

Yes we do! We can make a lot of our drinks blended, and we also make smoothies with real frozen fruit. Thanks!

Can you get a bagel or breakfast sandwich with your coffee drink?

Yes absolutely! They have breakfast sandwiches and different bagels from sparrow bakery I believe. Ocean rolls as well. Come early though, selection is slim in the afternoon.

During each visit, we ordered coffee and at least two items to try a little bit of everyone. I loved that they were offering samples on both days that we went - one day was the Oregon roll and the other was their specialty bread pudding. I was sold on the Oregon Roll! This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! You can't go wrong here. Be prepared to drop a bag you won't regret. We spent at least $50 during each visit but we were satisfied with our selection. Any decent shop worth their.. coffee.. will have at least two espresso choices on the bar on a given day, and this was the case here, a house blend and a pink bourbon single origin. I asked for one of each with a sparkling water chaser. Moving to the table, I sampled both after a sip of the sparkling water. Both were perfectly pulled, no bitterness or sourness, and both tasted great for what they sought to do: body and subtle fruit with primarily roast notes for the blend, and crisp acidity and brightness for the blend with a good citrus bite.
