I go to a lot of local coffee shops. Anytime I travel, I love to try as many new ones as possible. In my mind, there could always be something just a little better. WildRoots gets bonus points from me for one thing that struck me immediately- all of their drinks, regardless of size start with two shots. Of course, if you want only one you can specify. But as someone who likes my coffee strong and not too sweet but enjoys fun flavors, I can't tell you how nice it was to see 1) sizes as small as 8 oz and 2) the fact I didn't need to pay extra for a second shot. There was an up charge for non dairy milks but it wasn't as high as some places- I think I paid 50 cents for oat milk and overall the prices were much less than I pay for a similar drink in my area. Great selection of syrups and flavor combos. The staff were all really nice and the customers were as well. I would be here all the time if I lived in Bend. It's on my list for any future trip. Final note: order the COCC cookie and thank me later. So good. read more

Good espresso! The cappuccino & the oat milk latte hit the spot. Strong and bold flavor. The CCOC cookie was super tasty! We purchased another one to go. The next time we pass through Bend we will absolutely stop by. The place was small, the cashier & baristas were efficient & friendly. Nice relaxed vibe. Love! Came here with the kids early in the morning. Great way to start our day. The kids had an iced hot chocolate, for myself a an iced oat-milk latte. Kids enjoyed their drink, mine was wonderful quality coffee, not bitter or burnt tasting at all, but smooth and rich like I like it. Along with our beverages we had pastries from Sparrow bakery, one of my favorite places in town. Sparrow can be slammed in the morning, so it was such a treat to walk into this wonderful clean inviting an warm environment and have my Sparrow pastries without the morning rush of the bakery itself. Funnily enough I've had Sparrow's OCEAN-ROLL before, but never had anyone at the bakery asked or encouraged me to have it heated up, and I've always found it pleasant, but not a real treat. Umm, the OCEAN-ROLL at Wildroots was recommended warm, and as it turns out is one of her best pastries I've had in my life! Period! I had to get a second one for us. read more

Roasted: found this place in Bend and wanted to check it out as it had great reviews. It's in a small strip plaza with both indoor and outdoor seating. Incredibly friendly service - some of the best I've had in a long long time. They have a few sugar free offerings and a relatively simple menu in all. Drinks were served with art. They use Stumptown coffee here which I was very excited about. The drinks were just ok. The espresso came across way too green and it tasted like I was eating grass in my latte. Overall a good experience here but I probably wouldn't come back just because of the espresso. Unroasted: The location is in a strip mall of sorts next to a workout place and a few liquor stores. The staff was very pleasant to talk too. Happy they had tons of flavors including sugar free. My latte was made at a perfect temperature and I was happy to see it was stumptown which we really enjoyed. I felt my latte was a lil too "green" for my taste but it was drinkable. I recommend people to try this place out. read more

We've had this on the radar for a couple of days and drove out here to get our Sunday coffee. Unfortunately we got quite disappointed: our cappuccinos were served cold for some reason and with a lot of cold foam on top. The quality of coffee itself wasn't bad but was poorly done. Also, the croissant we at was not fully baked so we had to leave it since didn't feel like eating it. read more

Cute coffee shop on the edge of town. The only reason I don't have it as 5 stars is because the employees were very loud laughing and talking to one another. I'm in the service industry too so I get it when the day is slow, but when the room is that small and there are people trying to work, it comes off very rude and distracting. Other than that, the coffee is delicious, the baristas are experienced, and the pastry's are fresh everyday. Also, there are a lot of cute local items for sale like jewelry, artwork, and merchandise. read more

Stopped by Wild Roots for an iced coffee and was absolutely impressed (out-of-Towner here). Awesome vibe with cool crafts by local artists. And they brew stumptown which I loved! Great, quality coffee and great vibes. I love when coffee shops do multiple seasonal flavors and rotate them. I tried the Coco Loco latte and grabbed a blackberry/raspberry latte to go for my wife. The building is small but has indoor and some outdoor seating. Popular place with plenty of people even on a Thursday morning. They have some baked goods from local bakeries and merch available for purchase. Service was quick even when busy. read more

Ok so it's a tiny coffee house in a tiny neighborhood with a tiny parking lot meant for tiny vehicles and tiny amounts of time. The cups of drink will land a large at a pint 16 Oz and the next two down 4 Oz ea. Tea too and bagels. Kombucha I think I saw? Local art sales. Park your dog outside. Friendly staff always clean. Coffee is... ok. Kinda gritty but at $5.5 for a large? Can't complain like cmon. There are worse things like spy balloons. read more

Loved the aesthic of this coffee shop! Its super cute with neutral tones and a boho vibe. The staff was also very welcoming and informative about the coffee. I ordered the vanilla mocha and it was delicious. Sadly they didnt have many pastry options which I was looking for since it was breakfast time but nonetheless the coffee was good and its a local shop. Coffee is delicious, the inside is quaint and a perfect spot for a study session or a book, and the staff is so friendly!! I'm in town visiting a friend for a weekend and I got coffee here twice I enjoyed it that much. I also got a ginger molasses cookie and it instantly perked my day up with its deliciousness. The bagels look more like large dinner rolls but they're good & the shop has a toaster so that you can toast it to your desired level, which is a nice touch. All in all, try this place for a coffee and a treat and stay for a quiet and relaxed environment. read more

I've been trying a new coffeehouse every week for a while. This is my third 5 star out of 7 coffeehouses. This one also has, in addition to good coffee, nice environment (cozy indrustrial!)and pleasant workers, the added benefit of having the only masked baristas. That should earn them the coveted 6th star! There's nothing more alarming than seeing the barista talking over my coffee as they are preparing it. Great job Wild Roots! read more

The Bourbon Caramel Latte has become a favorite, but honestly, we come here for more than the coffee. It's one of those places where you want to slow down for a bit. We'll grab a couple of drinks, find a place to sit, and spend an hour people-watching, reading, catching up on the news, or just enjoying the morning. The building itself adds to the experience. It feels like a classic mountain lodge, and there's always a steady mix of locals, tourists, hikers, cyclists, and dog owners passing through. Even when we're traveling with friends, Sisters Coffee becomes the mandatory first stop of the day. Will we be back? Of course. In fact, I think it's time I finally signed up for a coffee subscription so I can enjoy a little bit of Sisters when I'm back home.
