Came in, got a table, waited 10 minutes no one came to take my order, I left and went to the Green Mill next door. The thing that pissed me off was that people who came in after me were getting served, but I wasn't. Im a truck driver and don't have alot of time to waste I was looking forward to eating at Perkins, it was only my 2nd time eating at Perkins ever. We went in to eat dinner the other night. I had ordered a triple stack turkey club.It literally had one thin slice of turkey on the whole sandwich and 20 fries for my order of fries.This is a joke no wonder there filing for bankruptcy can't keep a customer doing that. read more

I did a to-go order later in the evening while we were driving cross-country. I asked for a custom salad, since they didn't have a vegan option, and the manager (or assistant manager) Brian (I think) was happy to accommodate the custom order. Food was ok except for the horrible processed breakfast potatoes. During my last visit I had a male server wearing perfume, guys can call it cologne if they want, that doesn't make it any more manly, and since not breathing isn't an option, I'm forced to take in the cheap fragrance which anything other than clean fresh air is. A better option is the Ranch restaurant 1/2 mile south of Perkins. I'm giving up on Perkins entirely as during my last to Worthington the waitress delivered my breakfast with her long polished nail embedded in my pancakes. Why aren't health inspectors informing restaurant managers that long polished nails don't belong in the food industry. It's unsanitary. read more

I hate to even rate this place with one star!! My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch so we were surprised that it took a while to get seated because there weren't that many customers there. Once we were seated, the waitress came over and without even saying hello, abruptly asked "coffee? tea? soda, water? We ordered iced teas which took a while to get. We then placed our order along with soup and indicated that we wanted the soup right away. After waiting about 20 minutes, she brought our meals and soup and apologized that she didn't bring the soup first. I told her we wouldn't have ordered soup if we had known we weren't going to get it right away. She then told us she'd take it off the bill. My husband ordered his meal without mushrooms......guess what? There were mushrooms in his meal that he had to pick out because he gets sick from them. Both of our meals were cold so I sent mine back to be reheated. I then realized I never got my cranberry sauce which was supposed to be included. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. At one point, because the waitress obviously knew I was pissed, the manager came over to ask if everything was okay. When we went up to pay, I stood there for about 5 minutes and finally had to go toward the dining room where they were all gathered talking. The manager then came to ring me up. I told her my complaints and she apologized indicating that they did not charge for our soups. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PERKINS EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD and we've been at many Perkins Restaurants in many different states. And for the record, NOPE, we did not leave a tip!!! read more

Ok, I'll be honest that I never thought I'd be reviewing a Perkins but we had a very pleasant experience there today. The service was excellent and the food was quickly served. We arrived after a long day on the road looking forward to a great dinner. Unfortunately, we found ourselves waiting in a line at the hostess stand with no employees in sight for about five minutes. When the hostess wandered over, she was looking at her cell phone, texting. She looked at the crowd who was waiting, finished her text and put her phone reluctantly away. She approached the first folks in line who sent her over to the cash register since that person had been waiting to pay longer than they had been in line. After the hostess handled the paying customer, she seated the first two customers in line. On her way back to the hostess stand, the hostess looked at the line, then turned away and walked into the kitchen. At the same time, a customer walked by the line on her way to the rest room and mouthed to us 'so slow'. We turned and left the restaurant, we went next door to Green Mill and enjoyed amazing service. read more

The best thing to get at Perkins are their breakfasts. We eat here all the time and have yet to be disappointed. Friendly staff and good food. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. read more

We ate here for a noon meal on a Friday of a long holiday weekend. We expected there to be more customers on such a busy weekend, but there were not. We were seated immediately, our food order was taken and food served in a timely manner. We were a party of five and everyone at our table said their food was good. I would have rated this Perkins higher than three stars, however, two out of five at our table unwrapped our silverware from our napkins to begin eating our meal and found crusted food stuck on two of our forks. Also, a bowl of Tomato Basil soup had to be returned to the kitchen for further heating as it was brought to our table only lukewarm which was hard to understand as they were slow, and not busy. No excuse for cold food when not overly busy with customers. Otherwise, the food was okay and our waitress was very pleasant as she returned the lukewarm soup hot to our table and gave us clean silverware. read more
