I've had several oversized bathroom mirrors cut to size by Permian Glass over the past few months and have never been disappointed. Every visit has been quick, easy, and professional. On one occasion, we had a minor misunderstanding regarding a mirror size. While I was explaining the situation to the counter staff, Shannon (who I believe is the owner) stepped in. After I briefly explained the issue, he immediately said, "I'll take care of this and get it back to you today." No questions, no hassle, just great customer service. As promised, I had my mirror back the same day. That kind of service is hard to find. The quality of their work is excellent, and everyone there is just great to deal with. First they answer their phones . Staff is above & beyond great service. Work done excellent. Not more to say except this a great business in Odessa, Why bother with any other when you can get the best (service plus professional and just plain good people). 1st time they came out they were great. The owner was awesome and he did the measurements and was very professional. 2nd time they no showed and when I called they said they needed me to call to confirm even though I had already made the appointment. 3rd time my husband said they weren't there 7 minutes after appointment time so I called. They said they had been waiting for ten minutes which is untrue because my husband and our contractor were there waiting and had been checking to see if they were waiting at the gate. When I called they said they were too busy and couldn't do our shower door anymore. (Even though I had paid them over $2,000) I asked for a refund and I will never use them again. read more

I called Permian Glass & was told they didn't have the frame in stock for my car, but she would check with the manucturer when it would be there & she would call me back when they could get it. Two weeks later I still hadn't received a call, so I called her back. I was informed that they now had the frame. I asked if it was possible that they send the mobile technician to my home to install it instead of me bringing the car in & was told that the mobile tech was already out, but she would call me to schedule after lunch that day. Two days later I still hadn't received that call. She is either totally incompetent or just flat doesn't care. I took my business elsewhere. I have always loved Permian Glass, but will NEVER return as long as she is there! read more

I called Permian Glass fix a problem with my shower door. I could not get the issues resolved with the original company that installed the door, so I turned to Permian Glass to fix the problems. They were helpful on the phone when I called and friendly and knowledgeable when they arrived at my home. They had the problem fixed in 20 minutes. Thanks for a job well done! read more

Friday afternoon Permian Glass came to my work to replace my broken window. The technician was in a hurry and asked me.a couple of times to sign his ticket before he was done.. I told him I would sign when the work was done. So when done he came into my office wanting me to sign off...I went out to look at my car first.. I couldn't really see much except that the glass was in because he put blue tape over all the trim. He told me not to remove the tape for at least 24 hours.. So I removed it yesterday to find a big mess. Weather strip was damaged and caulk was way too thick, causing the trim to stick way out.. The window was also not installed straight..the curves did not match with the curves on the car. (Also, Friday night I had to clean a bunch of broken glass out of the back seat that he left) First thing this morning I called Permian Glass and spoke with Silvia Gaylor. She told me she would send a technician out and sent the same guy. He looked at the mess and kept telling me he did a "perfect" job. He even went so far as to tell me what he did looked better and straighter than the other side that is factory.. Well.. That set me off...I called Silvia again and told her what he said and told her they need to make it right. She told me that technician was the best in the area and he knew what he was doing... So I called the city and told them what happened.. They sent their adjuster out.. He agreed it looked very bad and said he would call Permian glass and make it right. A little later Silvia called me back acting nice and asked me to bring my car to their shop at 1. I did and a guy there asked for my keys. Silvia said he was taking it to the back to inspect the window so they can decide how to fix it and he was going to vacuum. They did not vacuum or try to fix the window Instead, they brought my car back with cling wrap where the window WAS. They gave me a BS story about the window being defective and I can deal with the city about out getting someone else to fix it. So I was able to get the city to bring me a check and hopefully glass doctor can get the window in tomorrow. Then I filed a complaint with the BBB and on their Facebook page. They responded to my post by calling me a horrible person and a racist. I never said anything ugly. I did tell them they needed to fix the damage and I want a different technician but I never said anything about race of anyone. No business should ever treat their customers like this. read more
