Cristina, greeted me warmly in her newly opened salon and readily accepted me as a walk-in after quoted me a very fair price. Her shampoo skills were light on the touch, but she took her time and the chaise lounge chair was very comfortable. She told me about her 10+ years experience as a hair stylist and proceeded to give me a wonderful cut and style. She took her time, was very thorough and precise. I could tell she was a pro! I asked for suggestions on bangs and she gave a stellar recommendation which we tried; and I am so happy for it. I walked out feeling like a million bucks without even having to empty my wallet. Her prices are so reasonable and her consultation was helpful. I also liked the fact that she didn't push product, extra services or ask for my contact information. Everything was straight and easy. I am happy she opened shop and I will be going back.

As someone who doesn't spend an hour getting ready every morning, I wanted a much shorter style than what I had. As she was cutting, I told her that I wanted it shorter. She refused and said it was too late because she had her next appointment waiting on her. She also said that making it shorter would interfere with the style she was "going for". Not wanting to make a scene I let her carry on until it came time for the blow dry. I asked again if she'd make it shorter and she refused. We both had grown increasingly quiet after each rejection and it was the most awkward walk to the front desk I've ever had. I signed the $60 bill and left. On the way home I caught a glimpse of myself in my visor mirror and realized how awful my hair was. I shouldn't have flown off the handle over the phone with the poor receptionist, but I was irate that I had just paid $60 for a mere trim. The receptionist was polite and kept his cool, listened to me rant and then let me know he would have the owner call me as soon as possible. Several hours later Raymond called to hear about what happened, said he'd speak with Gaby, let me know that my refund request was granted, and offered to make it right by letting someone else cut my hair.
