Late review ... came here after a deer accident. Hadn't had to deal with a body shop in decades…read morebefore this and as a female, I don't really trust most body shops. I ended up here because my insurance, Geico, works with them. Felt good about that. So grateful they made my appt with Car Source Collision. Although, the damage didn't seem significant at first, it added up after everything was completed but that would have been the case at any other shop. After leaving my truck for repairs, the rental car company provided pick up from the shop. Unfortunately, I left my wallet at the shop (with lots of important info/cash/several credit cards) and Matt, personally delivered it to my location within minutes. So grateful he did that! Matt was pretty awesome throughout the entire process; nice, professional while explaining the process, providing estimated repair time, etc. The mechanics did a great job, my truck looked exactly like it did before the accident. Actually, it looked even better in and out, because they detailed my car too! Loved that! The insurance covered all the repairs but I would definitely use use this shop again, even if I had to pay out of pocket.

5 Star Job..5 Star Service!!…read more After a recent fender bender, my insurance company recommended a few nearby body shops, but a trusty yelp search would verify which particular shop I should choose. As I looked up Car Source Collision center, Mia S.'s 5 star review was more than enough to convince me to take my car here. And Im so grateful that I did! Andrew was amazing..explaining the process, keeping me posted on updates, and even graciously transporting me to/from the car rental place. But the absolute best part-my car repair looked fantastic!! Perhaps looked even better than prior to my fender bender :) Also, Car Source Collision Center was the most cleanest and stylish body shop Ive ever visited. I felt completely comfortable walking into the waiting area of shop and the comfortable seating, tv, and a water cooler, made my time there very hospitable. Highly recommend yelp peeps!

I saw the great reviews here, so brought it in to see what could be done because it seemed obvious that something was just misaligned. Tech came out to inspect my car and was telling me I definitely needed new hinges! I might need a new door! This is going to run a lot of money! That they weren't going to try to investigate a misalignment because they wanted to do things "the right way!" Sure buddy. I thanked him, left and went to the body shop just down the street. Where a tech took a look at the door, determined that the A-pillar on the car door hinge had just gotten bumped out of place, bumped it back into place which fixed the problem, and within 15 seconds sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me because it was such a minor "repair" if you can even call it that. Royal might be good at what they do, I don't know. But they tried to upsell me on a repair that was thousands of dollars for something that wasn't even broken and was a component easily pushed right back into place. So definitely get a second opinion if you go here.

First, we are grandparents and meet everyone with respect…read more Had insurance work done on my 2013 truck thru Geico, who has a reputation for paying top dollar for quality work. The 5-day estimate turned into 17 days, and when pressed for a reason, the office manager became both belligerent and rude. She had already left a sour taste with me after our first meeting, having struck me as a natural bully with a mean streak. First impressions do matter. She behaved as if we actually had a choice; Some kid hit my newish truck, Geico chose the body shop, and we just wanted the shop to honor the deal. When we finally brought the truck home, I noticed wires hanging under the front end, and when I went to tuck them up, I found the whole front clip was missing bolts and wobbling around. The trim pieces were also floppy. Shoddy is the key word for the workmanship. The paint looked nice, and the touch-up across the hood is cleanly done, hence the second star. As far as trusting them to perform professionally, that starts with the clerk who processes the forms (in this case, the office manager) and ends with the techs who make the final assembly, and on these two vital counts, Porterfield's failed miserably. I can not in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

What should have been a 4 day job turned into a 4 week job. Excuses were numerous: 1) We just had…read moretwo people quit and we don't know how to deal with insurance 2) we're waiting on the insurance company 3) we're waiting for parts 4) we forgot to order tint. Promised the car 3 different times and then didn't deliver. The work is fine, no problems. They just aren't set up to stay on top of the process. They tell you to bring the car so they know they're making money, but no one can be bothered to stay on top of the process (order parts, deal with insurance, follow up on both) and get your car back to you in a reasonable amount of time. If you are doing a cash job they would probably be fine. If you are looking for a shop to help with your insurance claim do yourself a favor and keep looking.
