The mall itself was like a ghost town, it was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon and I see that a lot of stores are closed down. They did have a bunch of cool stores that we visited after a day at Round 1 such as Bath & Bodyworks, the Nerd Nook and Box Lunch. Totally gave me Carlsbad mall graveyard vibes when it was getting revamped. I would visit again, but only if I was in the area.

I do appreciate the dual faucet and dryer at the sink. Farm House Collective offers a handful of counter-style restaurants, similar to what you'd find in an indoor food hall. Places I tried during this visit were: The Taco Stand, Sarap Social, and Benedetto Gelato. They also had a stage with a large screen that showed music videos. I'm assuming they have live bands that play here on certain days. The music video that was played was techno, which probably didn't match the vibe. It's summer so they should play some island reggae or chill country songs IMO. It's still nice with music regardless the genre. They have plenty of tables and seating styles scattered around and they have the grassy area in front of the stage. I suppose you can take a picnic mat or blanket out there to sit. Overall, this is a decent spot that's great for groups because there's a variety of food vendors to choose from. Note: it's summer and there were mosquitos - wear bug repellent and sunscreen. There's no breeze coming through here. I'd love to come back and try the other businesses here.

Apparently I can't pay because the membership card is in my partner's name, nevermind that we are a single household and that we signed up together... She told me Costco isn't open to the public, kind of suggesting that I needed to leave the premises. I am very confused and try to explain, and she cuts me off to ask me if in another situation I would be able to "use his driver's license." Wow, I didn't realize this was such srs business (Also just all sass and no bark, you can certainly use someone else's driver's license situationally, for example for picking up a prescription...)! Okay, so he ended up using my same card on Apple Pay via *his* phone. What a difference you have made. Did the power trip feel good? If that's Costco's policy, fine, I accept and will learn for the future, but I would have appreciated being informed normally. The sarcasm was totally uncalled for.
