Visited Farmhouse Collective for the first time last week to watch the Colombia World Cup game, and we had a great experience! The atmosphere is fun, family-friendly, and welcoming, with several food options to choose from. I also like that you can purchase beer or wine on-site and enjoy it throughout the common areas. They also have a variety of games (ping pong, corn hole). Every employee we interacted with was friendly and positive. While there were some challenges during the Mexico game due to the unexpectedly large crowd, it's clear management listened to customer feedback and has taken steps to be better prepared for future events that will draw large crowds. I appreciate businesses that are committed to improving and creating a great experience for their guests. This is an amazing addition for the community! Farm House Collective has been open for a little over a year now and I finally made my first visit. I wasn't very interested in coming here before because it's in a pretty sketchy area. However, I had friends visiting and met them up here. Surprisingly, it was decent once I pulled into the parking lot - completely different from the sketchy vibes on University. Anyway, the first thing I noticed was how clean it was here. The people that go around cleaning FHC really do a good job. Even the restrooms looked pristine. I do appreciate the dual faucet and dryer at the sink. Farm House Collective offers a handful of counter-style restaurants, similar to what you'd find in an indoor food hall. Places I tried during this visit were: The Taco Stand, Sarap Social, and Benedetto Gelato. They also had a stage with a large screen that showed music videos. I'm assuming they have live bands that play here on certain days. The music video that was played was techno, which probably didn't match the vibe. It's summer so they should play some island reggae or chill country songs IMO. It's still nice with music regardless the genre. They have plenty of tables and seating styles scattered around and they have the grassy area in front of the stage. I suppose you can take a picnic mat or blanket out there to sit. Overall, this is a decent spot that's great for groups because there's a variety of food vendors to choose from. Note: it's summer and there were mosquitos - wear bug repellent and sunscreen. There's no breeze coming through here. I'd love to come back and try the other businesses here. read more

I'll start by saying the owners have done a phenomenal job transforming the old property into a beautiful place in Riverside where families can gather and enjoy themselves. There is a great selection of restaurants and bars, and it's truly a gem that's been added to Riverside. Prices for the food and entry is priced very reasonable. We've been there a few times but had never stayed to watch a band or a game. This time, we decided to attend one of the FIFA watch parties and had a decent experience. However, there is very little communication from management about the seating arrangements--whether guests should bring their own chairs, how many seats are available, or if seating is reserved. I tried contacting them ahead of time to find out, but never received a response, and no one was available to answer questions ahead of time. When you enter, there are two lines, but there is no signage or communication explaining which line is for what, creating a lot of confusion. Apparently, one line is for tickets and the other is for wristbands, which seems unnecessarily disorganized. There are plenty of televisions, but the seating setup is a mess. It could be much more organized, especially for events where tickets are purchased in advance. Lastly, there is a noticeable sewer smell near the pizza place on the other side of the property that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. There are also a couple of additional parking lots, which help since parking is a major challenge, but they feel a bit shady and don't appear to have any security or supervision. I hope this place stays around for a long time because it has so much potential. With better organization and improved communication, the overall experience could be much better. read more

I don't know why the FHC would be rated anything less than a 5. Everything about the execution, concept, design, style of this place is amazing. The vibe is good, the seating, the walkway. the amphitheater. it's just a welcoming place to come and chill.. Anything outside of this is outside of their control. The have small parking lot next door, then overflow parking lot okay. Anything else ??? They have good mix of stores, there are some chances to grow but all in all it is a nice place to hang out, chill, if it's hot, they got misters and some shade areas, and at night they have lighting and ambient string lights. it's just very chill very cool vibes. On the weekend they have adjacent farmers market stands near the parking lot 'stage' area that they host. I really wish that this place does well, there are other food hall concepts and places that other cities have tried to implement but most are just large building with individual shops like a mall food court- this one is unique and different. My daughter and I visited The Farmhouse in Riverside for the first time to watch Colombia's soccer match, and it was one of the most unwelcoming experiences I've had at a venue. After purchasing drinks, we specifically asked a staff member if seats near the stage were available. She told us we could sit anywhere. As we were about to sit down, another employee rushed over and used hand gestures to shoo us away instead of speaking to us respectfully. It was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. If the seats were reserved, that should have been communicated politely. Instead, we were made to feel like we didn't belong there. The employee later said we could sit there if no one showed up, but the damage had already been done. Customer service matters, and unfortunately this experience was enough for me not to return or recommend this place. read more

We went on a Sunday and they had a market going on!! Tons of different booths including a Photo Booth, our favorite was this tanghulu stand that was being run by a father and son! The fruit was ripe and sweet, we were given a deal 2 large for 10$ each and a smaller one priced at 6$ for free! The son was so kind and gave us a bottle of water and a slinky to choose from a tub! The concept is cool enough but the execution falls short. The majority of the businesses just aren't worth shopping at. I pretty much only come here for the Taco Stand. Most of the other restaurants and shops are just phoning it in. While the façade may appear cute and all, it's not really made to linger and hang out. Despite being in the middle of Riverside, there's a crazy lack of shade, and the token spray misters just don't accomplish anything. With some changes, the Farm House Collective could be pretty cool. But that's going to take overhauling the majority of the vendors and redesigning much of the common spaces to be more human-friendly. read more

The concept of reinventing a traditional building into a unique place that's fun to visit is appealing. Despite being a regular customer who visits at least twice weekly with my coworkers, I have had a handful of bad experiences. Ive purchased from Ga Dang and the clerk was discourteous, making me wait more than 15 minutes for lemon while she attended everyone else. It was rude, and felt like she purposely ignored my request twice. On another occasion, I purchased food from a different vendor but wished to buy a beer from Batter Rebellion. I was refused service in front of a ton of guest and required to stand outside in the RAIN, which was embarrassing and rude. Most recently, my sick coworker was informed that outside drinks, a Gatorade, are not permitted. I would understand if he was bringing an alcoholic beverage but he was sick and still chose to purchase food here. While we understand the need for policies, these restrictions seem excessive for an outdoor dining area that should provide a welcoming atmosphere for paying customers. Additionally, I attempted to visit during your advertised grand opening hours of 11am-9pm, only to find the establishment closed. As loyal customers who patronize this location regularly, we believe these policies warrant reconsideration to better serve your clientele. read more

I used to work not far from here back in the day and I seriously never noticed the Farm House motel in all those months driving down University. I guess because I never needed a motel. They made a big deal of repurposing it into the Farm House Collective so I definitely had to check it out for myself. Located on University Ave, Farm House Collective isn't hard to miss if you're looking for it. I will say, the parking here is kinda terrible. The lot is small and if they're having a vendor market, good luck! That said, this is a cool little place. Inside it's a long string of bungalows with shops, restaurants and kiosks leading to the Farm Stage. The Farm Stage is where most of the action is. They hold concerts, viewing events etc. Check their calendar! They've had some great acts play here (Lee Fields, Los Yesterdays) so I'm looking forward to seeing who is here in the future. That'll be the biggest draw for me because as neat as this place is, I don't feel this is a place I'd visit over and over again. But that shouldn't discourage you from finding out for yourself. This is such a cute area with many different restaurants, shops and a huge common area with many tables and a huge screen that was playing the football game because we came on Sunday! There are also many tables throughout as well. We came with a large group and were able to find a table to accommodate us all! It is also stroller friendly they have a ramp to access the restaurants. They have different kinds of restaurants like pizza, bar food, gelatos, Filipino food and more! This place is perfect for a date night or to come with your family and friends! This was my first time here at the farmhouse collective. I had seen many posts on Instagram of the entertainment provided and the food that they have. This visit I went strictly to hear the music that performed. I had never heard of the two bands before, but once I saw them, I am a forever fan now. I feel that the farmhouse collective does represent a lot of really good music in their venue. I would definitely recommend checking out their website and their performances to come. The entire location is really nice clean and good Vibing. The music venue is outside and there is grass patio and plenty of seats all around so you have your choice of sitting or standing. They have a food hall which is really good with different options. Also a record store which is really neat for those of you who like vinyl. The staff was really nice. The line for the music moved very quickly and they were organized. I like that and plus bathrooms were clean.. Now parking that's a whole different situation. They do have a small parking lot on the side and I'm not really sure if they have another one. I was fortunate enough to find one in that parking lot. So give yourself some time if you're coming to see an event oh, the parking in the little lot is free. It was definitely worth my 2 1/2 hour drive to get there to see these two artists and visit the location. If you are in Riverside come and visit and check it out for yourself. Love that the stage is front and center with a screen, plenty of seating in-and-around and great audio for nfl viewings during the seating and I would assume for the other activities they have going on like movie screenings, musical acts and karaoke nights. Draft beer, games, smaller TVs and restrooms are all nearby. They have some cool pop up markets occasionally to the green space out by the free parking if you can keep up with their calendar available on website or IG. Cool new spot! Grand opening this past weekend. This run down farm motel with "good bones" has transformed into a newly renovated space for the community to come together and enjoy a fresh take. Various vendors & eateries. All the shops have different hours but the main gates and parking lot open at 10am. Walking through was surreal to think of what it was before. Total night and day. Pop up vendors set up filling the designated space in the parking lot with more shopping! Through the main entrance is Batter rebellion, blue bowl and Rooted in love that are currently open and in full swing. Patrons filled these farmhouse store fronts admiring the renovations and trying out their menu. Plenty of seating throughout the entire space. A great spot to check out with the fam. Large stage in the far back with bean bag chairs and free play outdoor games ping pong, corn hole and foosball table. Ticketed upcoming concerts are posted and available for purchase at the airstream camper. read more

Such a neat place, plenty of food and drink options. Everything from gelato to tacos and chicken. We went for the UCR Battle of the Bands and had so much fun. There is plenty of seating around each food space as well as a large open space with seating around a beautiful grassy area that opens to a decent sized music stage. There is also a ping pong table and an outdoor bar which seemed to be open during outdoor events (think beer and wine were available). There is a small lot available but plenty of space in the overflow lots nearby. Reminds me of an outdoor food hall. Love it, great people, and the sound was amazing as well! read more

Amazing.... We came here my husband and I to check it out. We walk into our first spot that caught our eyes the spot call: "COLD ONE" we had great conversations with Austin. It was our first time. Cold bears my husband's favorites IPAs and I like light lager beers. It was such a good experience to go and visit this place. We will recommend to friends and family for sure. This place has the potential to be such a cool social space, and it's right down the street from UCR! We went during the week in the afternoon after the grand opening weekend so it was a pretty empty-- but I love the open vibe and it's a lovely place to chill under some shade, play some foosball or connect four, visit the vintage store, or just hang out on the bean bags with friends! Food-wise only the acai place was open when we went, so I'm looking forward to coming back in a few weeks when more of the restaurants are open/running (I think Batter Rebellion is already open, and Bar Ni Modo will be the next to open up?) Cool new spot near UCR! Went the day after opening and it was busy. Was a bit disappointed that more places weren't open yet but had blue bowl and batter rebellion and enjoyed both places. I was very disappointed with the service today. I used to really love this place and I was a constant visitor/customer. But for the Mexico vs Korea game today they turned away so many people and closed their gates because supposedly they were at full capacity. Even then we wanted to wait because we mostly wanted to eat there so we waited patiently to go in. They tried to shoo us away by lying saying they were going to end the broadcast early and they never did. Then I really had to use the restroom, I said that I would be right back since I wouldn't leave my sisters outside the gates but they still turned me away and if I needed to go that I had to cross the street to use Taco Bell's restroom, mind you I was in heels. Also a few of us witnessed them firing the security guard that was at the front gate. It was sad to watch and so unprofessional. When the game ended they finally opened the gates after waiting over an hour!! Anyways I posted a comment on one of their instagram post's about how today wasn't well executed or planned and they took it off and blocked me!! They can't take any criticism or accountability. I'm not one to put any reviews or comments anywhere but I have never felt so disappointed in a business. So sad to take my business elsewhere since I really did love coming here... read more

Finally had the chance to stop by the new food collective in Riverside. It is super cute. They have a parking lot right next to the venue which has ample parking but I could see it getting packed during weekends. So I would recommend stopping by during the weekday maybe for lunch before any of their event nights if they have any. They have a good little selection of food. American, Filipino, pizza, fried chicken Sandos, Mexican, gelato, smoothies/acai and it looks like a Japanese spot is coming soon. They also have a few retail shops mixed in there. The only downside of this place is that it's not very stroller friendly although there are plenty of ramps to get to the restaurants and stores it is a very tight squeeze to get into any of them with a stroller. And I can see it being a nightmare to maneuver around during busy hours. Other than that every vendor is welcoming and I do recommend if you're looking for a variety of food to choose from. I would come back kids free next time lol. So I can roam freely! read more

We arrived here around 5pm on a Saturday. They have a parking area with plenty of spaces which is a huge plus. There's even a little grass area with seating. There are multiple entrances to get into the Farmhouse area through the parking lot. As we entered, my first impression was how clean it was. It also wasn't overwhelmingly busy. They had misting sprays everywhere which kept us cool on a hot day. There's a restroom available in case you need it. Lots of seats everywhere. We love that there was security walking around, as well. We ate at Ga-Tang. I ordered the longsilog bowl ($16) and we had the lumpia overload ($14). The food came out quick. There are only a couple chairs inside the restaurant so you'll need to sit outdoors. We sat near the misting sprays so it helped. The food was great! As a fan of Filipino cuisine, I give my bowl and lumpia a 10/10. We had dessert at Benedetto Gelato. I saw an advertisement about their michelin chef so I was super excited to try it. The smallest size was $8 and you can choose two flavors. I tried the chocolate chip and the Dubai chocolate and they were DELICIOUS. This is probably one of the best gelato places I've tried in a long time. We also had the strawberry and cookies n' cream. Both flavors were good but not as great as the other two. Although everything was great, I took out one star because I felt the prices were a little too high especially for the little amount you get. We won't be able to come often unless we wanted to treat ourselves and splurge a little. read more

Tried Ga Tang at the Farm Collective in Riverside and went for the Fry'Dobo. It's basically nacho cheese loaded fries topped with beef adobo, and it was fantastic. The fries were crispy, the cheese was gooey, and the adobo added so much flavor. Every bite was rich and satisfying without being too heavy. The portion was generous, the flavors worked perfectly together, and it's the kind of dish you'd definitely come back for. If you're at the Farm Collective, Ga Tang is a spot worth checking out. read more
