I was craving poke in this IE desert. I found this spot on Yelp. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and it was empty. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was alone, but moved quickly and efficiently. The pricing is great - a regular bowl with 2 scoops of protein and two toppings are $12.75. However, the bowl itself was ok. It felt under seasoned and I think the culprit was the sushi rice. The sushi rice was not seasoned. Lots of sushi spots I've been to at least put vinegar in the sushi rice to give it some flavor. I've been to Pokilicious a couple times now and it always hits the spot. I swung by today to grab some lunch. I ordered a regular poke bowl with white rice, cucumber, tofu, Hawaii lava sauce, ponzu sauce, kimchi, pickled cucumber, edamame, cilantro, corn, green onions, sesame seeds, fried onions and hot Cheeto flakes. Maybe 2 tablespoons worth of tuna is what we got for each scoop. Didn't taste that fresh either. Pretty average experience for a poke bowl restaurant. They do have some unique sounding sauces but they charge you for extra sauces and I can't remember if they offer sauce "tastings" but I did not taste before choosing sauces and I think my sauce combo was a little weird (That could have been my fault though). When I checked in on the app, I got an instant coupon for a free drink. The worker was VERY confused by seeing my coupon when I showed him on my phone and he said "I don't think we ...do..that.." I didn't feel like pressing the issue and so I got no free drink. (It's a shame I marked it as used immediately because I planned on using it right then and there. Very rude! Came in tonight, July 12, 6 minutes before they closed to quickly order a take out meal. Worker looked at his watch probably 10 times as I decided what to place on my poke bowl. Was craving Poke and this was close by. Never tried it before. I think it's more reasonably priced than Ahi Poke across town so that was a plus. I got Hawaiian tuna and salmon as my proteins. What I like about here is crab meat doesn't cost extra, it comes as an optional topping. I also got a Thai iced tea My husband got tuna and "lobster" I put that in quotes cause I'm pretty sure it's like craw fish or something. Anyways taste wise everything is really good and fresh. The girl helping us was really patient and kind. The sauce choices are awesome and the fish really is good. I will say the Thai Tea was a little bland. Definitely wasn't my favorite. Unfortunately I didn't even eat half of my food. I think maybe I felt a little rushed and didn't fully look at the menu to choose the correct items so it's not entirely the businesses fault. But nonetheless the taste of the food just wasn't very good. I got sushi rice and the vinegar taste was a bit overpowering. I can't remember exactly which sauces I got to mix in but there wasn't enough sauce. Again, my fault. I could have asked for more but I didn't notice until I got home to eat. There also aren't very many options to choose from. I don't think I would be back to give it another shot but the service was nice! Pokilicious is going downhill, at least in my experience.. i have ordered at this location every now and then, and i have some ups and downs. first of all, there are times that i have to order 2 bowls, bec. sometimes i'd have to drop off something like at target or kohls and im feeling poke, i'd go here and buy for lunch and dinner. i noticed something that when you put any bowl that you order, in a fridge, the rice would be just as hard as rocks, i dont know what type of rice they cook, but big mistake and you really cant microwave them bec. its mixed with raw fish, and it wont be raw anymore if you heat them up. so then, the next time i have to leave them out like room temperature for at least 2 hrs. your rice would get soggy bec. of the sauce, so its just part of timing like ask them to put the sauce on the side instead. i dont think its their fault, but i wish they could've have like tips on their window about storage purposes, or whatever, i know specially now that its during a pandemic, everything are always to-go, and their customers are just like in-and out, it would really help while their customers are looking for the menu or which food they're gonna order, there should be like instructions on the window, what to do if you dont plan on eating them right away. these are just suggestions but i know we could always ask them, but you know when you're out, you'd randomly forget what you wanna do for 5 min.?? and i also have to point out that their scallops are so hard, idk, everytime i order scallops, they're always frozen, but at least when you serve them, make sure they're soft and ok to eat right away, y'know?? so these are just my pet peeves, and i wish they have their own poke-burrito, just like ahipoke.. but its harmless to wish right? read more

Came here a little after 12 when they open and there was already a lunch rush line. They handled all patrons efficiently with great service! This time we got a Kahuna bowl that comes with 5 scoops of protein (3 salmon, 1 albacore, and 1 lobster sensation). The lobster wasn't chunky pieces as I expected, but rather like crab salad. As for the salmon and albacore, super fresh! If raw isn't your thing, they offer cooked scallops, cooked shrimp, cooked chicken, and also the cooked lobster. For veggies we get everything with extra cucumbers and green onions. For toppings we get crab salad, seaweed salad (yum my fav!), kimchi, and spicy salmon. I didn't really enjoy the spicy salmon.. I'd skip out on this one and double up on the crab salad or seaweed salad. All their other garnishes are good also. Get extra fried onion or furikake for that crunchy texture. My husband and I came in and the staff were dealing with some rude guests, the staff did their best to accommodate the rude guests and also enforce their policy of mask wearing at the same time. I had a lot of respect for for two! It was a young girl with brown hair and a man a little bit older I believe with a shaved head. They gave us excellent service though despite the trouble with prior rude guests. They showed a lot of professionalism! This is the kahuna bowl with 5 proteins 5 toppings! The Bluefin was excellent as well as the salmon as usual! This time we got the Cilantro Aoili Sauce as well as a bit of ponzu and Hawaiian lava. It was our anniversary dinner! This was my first time checking this place out, and I definitely do not regret it! When I got there there was absolutely no line which was amazing, my customer service experience was out of this world from start to finish. The employee walked me through what the most popular items were as well as any personal recommendation she had. My bowl was also absolutely delicious, my only recommendation for the restaurant would be to get larger bowls. I got the three protein bowl and it was really hard to mix everything together or get to the bottom to get my rice But nonetheless I made it work and everything was delicious.
