    My dog

I do not recommend this place at all they gave me my dog back like this cause " he wouldn't let her " but my dog is very friendly he does not bite unless you are hurt him don't bring your babies here! They are so unprofessional and rude .

    Look at this!!

Run! Do not even bother to bring your fur babys here unless you want this person hurting your dog. They obviously don't care for the dogs or customers. Seriously do not waste your time or money here. I've seen multiple bad comments about this place. Theres this women whos dog also came here and the owner called her like 2 hours after she dropped her dog off saying she couldn't cut her hair because the dog wasn't letting her? So she left the dog bald on its body and around its arms there was long peices of hair that they didn't even bother to cut. This place needs to be shut down. Fuck this place. Don't groom dogs if your this fucken shitty.

Hermione, our standard poodle, looking gorgeous after her very first grooming!

I have been bringing my poodles to Perros y Gatos for years, and I love how kind and caring May is with my family and pets. She takes pride in her work, and I know that when I drop my dogs off, they are in capable, compassionate hands. We now live a half hour away, and I still bring my dogs to May because other groomers don't seem to have a good handle on what different breeds require. She has always treated me with courteous respect. She is able to keep her costs low because she only accepts cash or checks. Credit card companies charge such a high percentage for the convenience.

I took my dog to get groomed, she a small Bischon mix. I usually take her to Pet'sSmart cause I am able to see her through a glass window. My dog was pretty matted and was in a desperate need for a cut. She was there from 9:00 am to 11:00am. I hesitated to leave her. ( I never should of left her), anyway.... She had cuts and blood inside her ear, cuts on the tips of her ears, now they are big bloody welts. Her chest was burned, her private part was cut.  Dogs can't talk and unfortunately a lot of people do not pay attention to the dog's reactions. If you tie a dog up and try to shave them to skin while you are cutting and burning a dog will flinch or try to move his body. Somebody obviously wasn't apying attention to my dog. When I picked her up she was shaking and skittish. She is still very afarid to leave my side. "MY HEART WAS BROKEN" I can't believe they would do this to my dog. They refuse to give me a refund for my vet bill of $300. They said it was my fault for waiting sooo long to groom her. The pictures are before and after......DO NOT GO HERE!!!THEY WILL MUTILATE YOUR DOG!!!

My dog looked adorable after I picked him up, although he was acting pretty sad, and not himself. I didn't want such a short cut,

Early on, after one visit our dog developed an ear infection from water getting into his ear. I paid the vet bill and chose not to make a big deal out of it because things happen. We continued going and things seemed mostly fine until today. On Monday they called asking if I could move our Friday appointment to Tuesday. I agreed and brought my dog in at the time they requested, 2:00 PM. When we dropped him off, we asked when they closed and were told 5:00 PM and that he would be ready around 4:45. They normally call when he is ready. Around 4:50 I still had not received a call so I phoned to check. The woman who answered said she would check and came back saying he was ready. We arrived at 4:55. After waiting for a couple ahead of us to pay, we paid and tipped as we always do. Usually they bring him right out, but this time they did not. I walked toward the back desk thinking he would be coming out any second. That's when I heard someone yelling aggressively and cursing at my dog. I looked behind the door to confirm it was Carissa and asked, "Excuse me, are you talking to my dog that way?" She immediately denied it. Another girl was in the room and when I asked, she said "it wasn't me," meaning she wasn't the one speaking to him that way. What made this even worse was that my dog was still on the grooming table being cut, meaning he was not actually ready when they told me he was. It was already close to closing time. She immediately changed her tone and said he was doing great, then rushed him off the table covered in hair. His nails were not finished and the overall grooming job was terrible. But the unfinished groom is not even the main issue. The way my dog was being spoken to and handled is completely unacceptable. No animal should ever be yelled at or cursed at like that. If this is how pets are treated when owners are not watching, people deserve to know. I will never bring my dog back here. If you care about how your pet is treated, I strongly suggest finding another groomer.

My dog, Buddy, had been groomed by Valerie at Luke & Company for more than four years. Valerie knew Buddy well, and for years I trusted her to care for him. Sadly, Buddy was recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away just a week ago. It took me some time to finally work up the nerve to call Luke & Co. because I wanted Valerie to know that Buddy had passed. When I called, I was shocked to be told that they could not find any record of Buddy or me as clients after more than four years of nail trimming appointments. I asked for Valerie and was told she wasn't available, so I left a message for her to call me back. The next day, I didn't receive a response so I called again. During that conversation, I was told by the manager, Annie, that I was "not a good fit" for Luke & Co. anymore. (WHAT) Considering why I was calling, that response was incredibly hurtful. My dog had died. There was no future grooming relationship to end. I wasn't calling to make an appointment or ask for anything from the business. I was trying to tell the person who had groomed and cared for Buddy for four years that he was gone. I also struggle to understand how there was supposedly no record of us being clients, yet I could simultaneously be told that I was no longer a good fit for them. I understand that businesses have the right to decide who they want as clients. But after four years of bringing Buddy here, I expected some basic respect and understanding, and I received a door slammed in my face. I simply hoped that after four years, someone might acknowledge some basic compassion and I know Valerie cared about Buddy. (I wouldn't be surprised if they still didn't tell her). Whatever positive experiences I had over those four years with Valerie are unfortunately overshadowed by how I was treated at the very end. Being made to feel dismissed by a business that had cared for him for years made an already painful situation worse.
