Other shops had limited selection in what we were looking for. And then we found Anaya Tile, whose Yelp reviews were impressive. We soon learned why. By the time we walked in to Anaya Tile, we were completely unsure of what we were doing. Adam greeted us and offered to help. He spent so much time with us going through options, helping us navigate all the types of tile, laying things out for us, and pulling tiles he thought we might like. We went around and around and he showed nothing but patience and helpfulness the whole time. Even after we selected a design, we ended up changing our minds again, spending another block of time with Adam. It was so nice to feel like we could take our time deciding with the help of someone trustworthy and enthusiastic. Through the time we spent at Anaya Tile, we came to know it as a family business, very community oriented and passionate about helping their customers. Our bathroom project took a very long time and there were a lot of bumps in the road. Adam and his family at Anaya Tile were not one of them. Now that the project is done, the tile is our favorite part. We would recommend Anaya Tile without reservation.

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

Some other minor things (blending of drywall on ceiling, seals along cabinets/walls) were discussed then and we were told that we'd hear back early 2022. We didnt. It is now January 2023. The counter is uneven and seam is split open enough to fit a business card. The grout where the counter meets the wall has cracked and split just as much. This was my dream kitchen when it was finished. I was so happy. And now it just feels like a big disappointment.

Michael and Brian were wonderful to work with--patient, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions. They have so many choices, I was grateful to have plenty of options to get just the right thing. The installation was flawless, and the cleanup was excellent. Brian worked with me each time this happened and ensured that my floor was repaired. It was at the cost of my other contractors but it was taken care of. We used the contractor he recommended and we started a group chat to coordinate so his contractor could come over to get measurements, material drop off and scheduling. The overall cost was actually less than we were expecting. The work was completed in May while we were out of town and they were done by the time we returned home. Everything looked amazing but there were some areas that needed to be fixed/redone. Robbie continued to assist us in answering questions on how to clean our new flooring and helped us coordinate the final corrections that needed to be done since the contractor was slow at getting back to us. They came the next morning after Robbie got involved and the fixes were finally completed more than a month later. We absolutely love our new flooring.
