Pulled in today to have some work done on a car I own before I sell it. Couldn't help but notice the large sign advertising "Dan Cox for Governor" on the side of the building and another lawn sign out front. Stopped in my tracks and immediately reversed course. Um, if you want to support that "person" running for office, be my guest. Tells me a lot about you. And it tells me that I do not want to give you my business. If you want to be a zealot or support lunacy, you're free to do so. But advertising it only serves to turn off the public at large. read more

I called to basically "get on the list" for an estimate after a minor accident. No critical damage showing but will probably need a bumper cover and maybe paint touch up. Realizing places are short staffed and parts are hard to come by, I just wanted to schedule the estimate and then wait for parts and service to be done AT THE SHOPS CONVENIENCE! ! ! The female who answered the phone was extremely reluctant to oblige and spoke very cryptically and said "We're in transition here". Quite Possibly the best car repair experience I have ever had. From price to quality to customer communication. Their estimate and end price was significantly below the competition in the area and this shop got it done in less than a week. At each phase of the car repair, their dedicated staff called to give me a status update so that I could easily coordinate car rental arrangements. If you want to take your vehicle to a place that is impressively organized and will talk straight to you about price and repair progression from day one, this is the place to go. I went in with muffler issues. After a two hour wait I was quoted $900 to replace my muffler and exhaust line. It seemed overpriced so I left and went down the road. The national repair chain the did the same job for $250. Would not go there unless you would like to be scammed out of your money! read more

Would not let them replace the chain on a bicycle. Difficult to communicate and deal with. Did not inspect under the hood. Had multiple engine compartment problems after body work was done. Seem to be good at cutting corners. read more

Mike Altieri and his team repaired and repainted my Buick Lacrosse (pearl white) bumper and it was a job well done! Moreso, they weren't happy with the first color match and THEY delayed my taking the vehicle back until it was perfect. Nowadays most workmanship comes with a "get it in, hurry it out" mentality but that is clearly NOT the way it is done here. And when I picked up my car on Friday night not only was my car fixed, it was detailed inside and out! I'd say Perry Hall Auto Body wound up being a wonderful recommendation (through the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company) that we will continue to do business with from now on. Had a high dollar repair done here on a new car. I would never go here again or recommend this place to anyone. They are sloppy and all about the $$$$$$! They will keep you waiting in the front waiting area for 10 minutes as they sit at their desks and they are not on the phone, etc. Had to take car back 3-4 times. No apologies or anything. My time is worth nothing I guess? Rude service with fake apologies and lip service. Go elsewhere. read more

Another driver hit my passenger side door. Walked in for estimate without appt. Took no time at all & was offered a cold water on a hot day. Set up so my parts were ordered and there so my vehicle wouldn't be there as long as if I were to drop off and wait for parts to show up. So easy to talk with and explained everything to my understanding. This shop was so friendly and made the process painless. My Volkswagen looked like new. Paint matched perfectly. Went to three different places for quotes, they were almost $1700 cheaper than the next place. Since my vehicles bumper was hit in a parking lot, they said they could repair it. It was just the plastic that needed to be remolded rather than replace. One of the other places quoted me that they had to replace my trunk as well when there was no visible damage to it and then both of the other places quoted me for replacement of the bumper which drove up the prices tremendously. I was worried if structural damage was done but they explained where they would have issues and said after taking apart would let me know if additional repairs. The total days they quoted me was about 3-5 days and got it done in 3. The other places quoted me 1-2 weeks. I was extremely pleased with how the repairs turn out and my car was cleaned afterwards as well as the other reviewers said. I would definitely recommend. They are not in it to make a buck. I had my front passenger bumper repaired. It looks like new. I'm impressed with the work quality. My car was detailed. I wasn't expecting that. It's beautiful inside and out. Absolutely horrible work. They missed damage to my car from an accident and now that it wasn't reported I can't file under the same claim. I've had the car back there 3 times to correct problems. The "corrections" were either shoddy and needed to be redone again or I was told that there isn't a problem. I now get to go back for a 4th time to deal with the same issues I've been dealing with. Just updating to say I'm taking it in for the fifth time and the owner has an attitude and is trying to blame everything on someone and something else.... absolutely HORRIBLE place! read more

My recent experiences with Perry Hall Auto Body couldn't have been more different than the others I've read here! Both my son and I have had our cars repaired here in the past month (2 different accidents). My son paid out of pocket instead of going through his insurance, and ended up being given a discount because of it. My car had minor damage, covered by insurance, and they were fast and thorough. Estimates were fair and comparable to other body shops in the area, we chose PH for convenience to our home. Both of our cars were cleaned inside and out when we picked them up, staff was professional, workmanship was excellent. I would recommend them without hesitation. read more

I rarely write reviews but given my recent experience with this shop, I feel compelled to warn the public. I needed 2 new car handles for my sedan. The staff is not friendly and quite frankly do not have customer service skills at all. For example, I called to check on the status of my car (because they didn't feel the urgency to let me know my car was done). When I called a woman answered. I told her why I was calling and she literally said "I don't know, I'm not handling this file." Most professionals would ask me to hold on and find help, not this bitch. She was inconvenienced. The guy who took my order is Chip. I'm not sure that he graduated from high school. He was incredibly poor at explaining the breakdown of the estimate that reflects huge mark ups. He tried to sell me on industry standard as he stuttered. Please do yourself a favor and shop around. I just caved because they were quick n close to my house. If you are looking to feel like a valued customer and deal with professionals that make you feel happy that you chose them, this is NOT the place for you I will never go back! read more

Had my Honda Element fixed there after I accidentally ran the side of it down a light pole one morning when I was running late. They did really great work in a timely manner I was definitely more than satisfied. And the guys that work there are just great. Just all around really nice people who do top notch work. read more
