It's disappointing to see the difference compared to how things used to be. Another concern is that AMS doesn't check or offer quotes from all available insurance providers, which limits your ability to find the most cost-effective coverage. You're not necessarily getting the best value. I recommend checking other companies first--such as Navy Federal, GEICO, USAA (if you're military), and others that AMS may not work with. Be sure to ask which providers they represent and which they don't, so you can make a more informed decision. Personally, I recently switched and ended up saving more than half on my monthly premiums--while also getting better coverage than I had through AMS. Another downside is the process for making policy or account changes. While claims can typically be handled directly with the insurer, all other changes must go through AMS. This adds unnecessary hassle, especially since their current customer service is slower and less responsive. You can't make quick updates yourself, which can be frustrating. Before COVID, I would have recommended AMS without hesitation. But since much of their team now seems to work remotely, the service just isn't what it used to be--and that's unfortunate. I'm grateful to have found a new insurance provider that offers better rates and allows me to manage my policy directly and conveniently.

We were in a car accident with another person whos vehicle (not the person driving) insurance was…read morethrough this company. Originally there was a woman named Erika who was working our claim quite coincidentally got terminated for making illegal decisions within the company. Mind you when we had last spoken to this person before we were aware of termination (mind you no one called us we had to call THEM) we were told that we weren't at fault and our vehicle would be fixed. Now as we were attempting to get the preferred in-next work list to fix our vehicle we had called the company since there had been no response for about a week and a half and then ANOTHER woman named Stephanie NEVER called us to figure out what happened, did not re-open the claim and re-do investigation, DID NOT CALL US TO GET OUR SIDE OF THE STORY OR PICTURES OF OUR VEHICLES DAMAGE. She just advised us she had only had the claim for 3 days, only called there customer who advised that we had "switched places" during the accident and deemed it was our fault even though she did not do her own investigation even after we sent her all proof that it was not our fault Stephanie was to lazy to complete her job nor do it correctly even after our original person Erika had been terminated. Does it seem like this is because our vehicle isn't getting fixed by them and now progressive and our insurance will have to fight it out? Yes. But what this is, is the fact that we were already treated poorly when Erika was terminated, we were not informed, then Erika only had the claim for 3 DAYS and did not contact us and proceeded to deem it our fault. Mind you there were also 2 little ones in the car as well and our Vehicle has a Magnet on it stating there a baby on board (also on during originally photos and in said photos). I apologize to anyone in advance who gets Stephanie she is lazy.
