Please read to the end ... Well, we may not be going back but only because we felt the beds were a bit firm and some room amenities were lacking. There was no coffee pot in the room, and no place to hang clothes. These are minor inconveniences, and coffee was available in the office area. BUT ... ( and it's a big one!) ... our room was spotless! Sure it could have used a maintenance touch up here and there but it was completely functional and clean clean clean. It's a family place with lots of kids, and a great play area, and yet quiet at night. This would be an amazing place to stop if you are traveling with children. We highly recommend you check this place out. It just wasn't for us. read more

Just returned from a 4 night stay and already planning our return trip next summer. Such a wonderful place. Run by a lovely family, it is very clean and quiet. Adorable playgrounds for children and a beautifully maintained heated pool. There were 6 adults and 2 toddlers. 3 adults and one toddler stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage with kitchen which was very clean and very comfortable. The others stayed in a hotel room and enjoyed that as well. Highly recommend for your next vacation. read more

I am sooo happy this place has changed owners because it is now an amazing place to stay!! We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage for four nights and we loved it. The beds were super comfortable and the AC was great!! We spent a lot of time in the pool and there were also picnic tables and a grill outside our cottage. We had a great time staying here. This happened to be the last weekend they were open. We were the only ones staying there. We arrived around 1:30 and were able to check in without a problem even though check in isn't until after three. The young lady was very friendly. She offered us coupons for shopping and for dinner. She gave us a card in case we needed anything as the office hours were limited this time of year. The cottages are actually road side cottages built in the 1920's. our cottage was one of the bigger ones, with two floors. There was a kitchenette, a bathroom and a living room with fireplace on the first floor. There's a stair case that leads to the second floor and two bedroom, a king size bed in one, and two twin size beds in the other. There was also a fold out cot in the closet. there was a pool (obviously closed down and a play ground for the kids. Baby B would have had a blast had we brought her with. Can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer! read more

DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL!! We booked it last minute and honestly, we got a last minute motel. Beds were like plywood, the walls between rooms had fencing at the top so even though there were two rooms, everyone in the motel heard every conversation. I'm 6'3" and couldn't close the bathroom door when I used it because the toilet was so close to the door. There is poor insulation as well, as you can see outside through the crack in the door. The insulation fell right off! It was freezing! I would give this place 1/2 a star if that was possible on this app. This is definitely the worst motel I've ever been to. Stayed in room 7. Price was one of the cheapest around but there was a reason for that. Room is out dated and the beds not so great. Pillows on the bed were so flat that I had to go to Walmart to buy my own pillows. Even my 4 year old had a rough night sleeping on these beds and he will sleep anywhere. Also bathroom towel had something black on it. Gross. We waited till after our 2 1/2 drive home to take a shower. Next time I take my kid up this way we will be staying else where. read more

We stayed here 8/2014. This place is really just acceptable. They have a few amenities; a toddler play area, a children's play area, ping pong table and pool. The toddler play area and ping pong table are in horrible disrepair, the pool is ok (but the pool toys are in horrible condition) an the kids play area is in great condition. The cabins are ok. I took my 3 grandchildren and mother here and we had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a resort like place, this is not it. These are summer cottages with just enough of what you need. It is very clean and the owners are so nice and come by often to make sure you have all you need. It is small and cozy and the pool and grounds are very clean. The pool and playgrounds are in the center so you can sit on your porch and watch what is going on. The people are so friendly who come there. We had so much fun just relaxing and hanging around the motel. There are picnic tables and grills. You are close to everything if you want to venture out. This is my second time here and the kids want to come back next year. Come and check it out it, it is a relaxing place. read more

This is a great place to bring kids! They have two different playgrounds with mini cars, castles, swings, slides, sand pit and much more..They also have a pool that my kids loved. We stayed in a cute little private chalet with a porch. It is off the main road so it is not noisy but close enough to town to go shopping etc. I strongly recommend it! read more

I love this little place. I've been going here since I was knee high. The owner still remembers me every time I stay here and it's been 20+ years. Nice little cabins right down the road from everything in North Conway. Conveniently tucked off a side road, away from all the noise and traffic. They seriously need to do some renovations. Even some small ones such as new bedding/decor would be good. Then again for the price we paid I cant complain much. It came to about $90 each night and only a five minute drive from the center of Conway. Aside from it being extremely outdated the room was okay and most importantly clean. Came with TV, A.C, a mini fridge, and a microwave located outside. Beds were not comfy and we did lose power during the last morning of our stay, which would have caused a problem if we weren't leaving soon after. Not sure if I'd stay here again. Disappointing isn't even the word I would use the pictures online make it look like it's the cutest little cottage you'll stand getting there you'll see something completely different everything is broken down worn out cracked the toilet was cracked the rug was like the cleanest looking thing in the entire place the wallpaper is definitely from 1976 there's an air conditioner in the window that basically just stays there although it was 30° the bed is by far the most uncomfortable bed you could have ever slept in there were drafts in the entire place. From the window just drafting from a huge draft under the bed which is really weird cause where is the draft coming from. I'm writing this to one of the next couple who wants to celebrate their birthday or anniversary doesn't look at this and think oh wow this is gonna be beautiful this is where we want to celebrate this is where we wanna be. Just stop right now. Um no it's not Just pay a little extra to get the great experience that you're going for this is not it. I promise. I'm still stunned at how nice they made it look online like it was Homey and comfy when in fact it was the complete opposite. Pay the extra and stay some where nice like the Red Jacked hell even the COLONIAL MOTEL Looks like a better choice and that one looks like it's straight out of the Psycho movies Bates motel style! Perfect for family fun!! Last year was our first trip to Storyland. While looking for a place to stay, my husband stumbled across Perry's online. We had so much fun last year we returned this year and stayed in the same cottage. The cottage was extremely clean. Each cottage come with its own grill and picnic table. The one we picked out was also equipped with a refrigerator and microwave as well. We brought our own food up and grilled every night during our stay. There is an outdoor pool, with floaties and swim rings provided. They also have a toddler play area and a play area meant for older children as well. My girls loved kicking a ball around the big open field in front of the cottages. The staff is very friendly! We told them we needed fresh towels thinking that they would replace them while we were out for the day and 2 mins later someone was at the door with clean towels for us! Five mins from Storyland and from down town North Conway. I would defiantly recommend this place to any family looking to vacation in the North Conway area! read more

OK, so I knew I wasn't getting a five star hotel when I booked Perry's, the last hotel open in the area. But I was expecting a few items such as heat, and the advertised free wifi. But soon after an evening arrival in October, with the temperature dropping quickly, I turned on the heat in Room 10 on, but without results. After walking to the office and asking if I was doing something wrong, they sent a young man to fix it. Despite repeated tries, he was unable to get it working, so the gal that checked us in brought over a portable heater for the room and insisted that the heat had been working furiously that very morning. I doubt it, since her brother or husband who tried to fix it said that this was the first need of it this fall, and that it had not been readied for the season. Also, the wifi was not a strong enough signal to reach us in Room 10. Finally, when I awoke in the morning. I discovered that the window air conditioner had dripped condensation on the windowsill - which is where I had placed my phone overnight to charge since there wasn't a simple nightstand next to the bed. At check out, no apologies, no discount, no nothing. Stay here only if suitably desperate! read more

This review is late because I've been so busy! We had stayed here two years ago with our grandson in July and it was a wonderful time. Vicki The Owner was kind and helpful in every way. We liked it so much We came back again this past July this time bring the grand-mother as well as the grand-child. We had another great visit. The cabins are rustic, but CLEAN! Once again Vicki was wonderful as was her daughter Jackie. We had so much fun We actually booked ahead for July 2016 and took the biggest cabin because We are bring two grand-children. This is very much a place meant for families with children. We grilled out every night and the pool and two children's playgrounds are available (one for toddlers) ps Our air conditioner broke our first day their and Vicki had it replaced immediately. horrible to deal with. I tried to cancel my reservation 7 days in advance due to an unforeseen family emergency, and they immediately charged me the full amount. I have never had to cancel a hotel reservation more then 48-72 hours prior. I understand they have policies but there are some cases as a business owner where you make exceptions. they were less then understanding and the owner refused to speak with us. charging someone the entire cost for a service we never received is theft. I can understand a small cancellation fee but the full amount for my entire reservation is wrong. read more

This place was abysmal. The staff are rude and arrogant, there were strange stains on the bed, and we were barged in on by the housekeeping staff at 8 AM even though there's a 10 AM check out time. Moreover, they have CAMERAS IN THE ROOM. We were not aware of this until the staff told us about it. They charged us extra fees for extra people. The website said $119 for 4 people, but we ended up being charged $175, which is absurd. I do not recommend this place in the slightest. read more

This was a horrible place. We stayed in a cabin and right front the start we were worried. We asked for a bed and 2 cots and then they tried to add an extra charge when they thought we would have only 2 but actually had 3. She then agreed to take the charge off. She asked us to lie to Booking.com if they call about staying there so they can say we cancelled so they dont have to pay booking.com's commission. Also they are now charging us and extra $100 because they discovered a hole in the hall which we noticed when we first walked in. Read your bill carefully. The bathroom door didn't close and there weren't any sheets or pillows for the pull out couch. The cable and internet were out which wasnt a big deal, but when we call to make sure everything is good, don't lie to us. I work in a customer service industry so I don't write many negative reviews but this was truly warranted. Very accusatory work staff as well. Nickel and dime all day long. Again, read your bill and try to pay in cash so they can't make up extra fees. Do not recommend this place. read more
