It's difficult to write this commentary. We like the folks who work here, they offer some pretty good specials, and they seem to be open whenever we need them. But -- too many times the work isn't quite finished and there seem to be unexplainable delays in completing the washing/wax process on many of our trips here. And why is that? We're really not sure, but it is annoying. We like the convenience of their location for us, but there have been times when we've paid for a tire cleaning that didn't get done. Or a failure to completely rub down the car after it goes through the machine. We would like to give them higher marks, but it just isn't right for others who may consider stopping by here to at least have our honest opinion about the service. We keep hoping... read more

This could quite possibly be the worst car wash in the state, such a poorly run business, extreme prices, and a staff who could care less about being there. The actual car wash itself I'm not sure how the car looks the same when you leave it? Do not waste your money. And God forbid you have somebody in front of you that needs their interior and windows cleaned. Everything can be improved they don't give you half of what they say. They don't drive the car well at all they leave the seats up against the dashboard. They didn't use the tire shine that I paid for. Don't use these guys. There's better out there. read more

The biggest waste of $33.00 PLUS a tip in my entire life. Went for the "Platinum Wash" and even asked the first attendant specifically if this would include tires, wheels etc. 'Yes'! I normally do it myself but just had back surgery. Just got home and looked at the tires as there was absolutely no tire shine applied. The rims were never even touched! I could wipe away the dust with almost zero effort so, If they had been gone over, any residue would have easily come off. Inexcusable 'service'. I get that the 'wax sealant' and all the other crap is just that...crap...I did expect the fact that I'm paying $33.00, to have my car given a bit more attention and have the wheels at least rinsed with soapy water. Clearly, they didn't even do that. You got me once! Never Again! Save yourself some cash and find another 'car wash'....I hate to even use those two words in reference to this place...Complete Waste of Money! read more

AVOID! They cracked our front windshield, then told us it wasn't their responsibility because it was the machine's fault and not theirs! The workers were rude and dismissive and completely unapologetic. It's mind boggling that I paid them to damage my car. read more

we moved away from litchfield two years ago over 100 miles from this wash; which we used regularly. we notified the folks in store the week before we moved. the service has continued to charge our card for 2 years so over 55$ for 24 months. we have additionally made several phone calls and left messages. the number provided by an in person visit does not work 860-361-9255 as it provides fast busy signals when calling. i have tried to call the nMe given and was told by in store people they can't do anything about this ... i will need to resort to further methods to remove my card from auto billing. in spire of additional calls over the years and a personal visit i am now sharing this review. the cleaning was fine but the customer service about billing and correcting removing is as outlined. as of now i continue to a: stop the billing the my card as requested in person 12/2021 and b: seek a full refund for the monthly recurring charges since moving. refund from the establishment. read more

I've never experienced any problems with this car wash - everyone was very professional and courteous. did learn at my last visit dogs and humans are no longer allowed to stay in the car while it's going through the wash, so my somewhat confused dog and I had to walk through the lobby (which everyone was very nice about) and wait at the end, which really was absolutely fine. He probably got more fun sniffing their rocks than riding in the car. My car was wonderfully clean too! read more

Terrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment for car detailing for 10:00 on a Saturday morning. I did not have a ride available that day so I asked how long I'd have to wait and was told 2 hours. No problem. When I arrived, the employee was only halfway through the 8:00 appointment and told me it would be another couple of hours before even starting mine. He told me just to leave the car and when I said that wasn't an option at this point as I hadn't arranged a ride, he advised me to come back at 12:00, then later said 12:30. Um, which one? Didn't instill confidence that my car would even get in then. No apology, just shrugged at me. Needless to say, I did not go back. read more

Service is bad. The workers are more concerned about talking to others. When they ran my car thru the wash they opened the window and ran it thru the wash. Obviously not paying attention. The hours say 9-5 but they close at 4 all the time. Go somewhere else. read more

This car wash cannot clean a windshield or vacuum carpet. I paid $32 for platinum service and the had to do everything twice. Then I had to bring my car home and do it again. Obviously their goals are to push cars out in under five minutes without being concerned how clean it is or how happy the customer. I'll never go there again. read more

The past year or so, I feel the quality has gone WAY DOWN HILL. The attendants are just horrible at their jobs or just lazy. What does it take to spray down the car & brush the wheels, lower body & back hatch before sending it thru the car wash? Then at the other end they barely wipe you down. If it's really busy, maybe rush a little. But I've been the only one there & had to wipe down & clean everywhere they missed, when I got home. Their hours are inconsistent, stopped interior service even though I paid for it. I tried to cancel and they continue billing me and not responding to calls or emails. I exited the car as the cleaners vacuumed the interior and asked me to go inside to wait. I left the auto wiper in the OFF position. After auto cleaning, all 3 wipers were totally broken as no doubt by mistake the wiper control stick must have been pushed into Auto postion during the cleaning. Ok, mistakes happen but what made the whole experience so much worse was the unfriendly way the manager dealt with this incident even though grudgingly they reimbursed me 90% of the cost of new wipers. read more

Took my car there & I think it's under new management. Wasn't the same the last time I was there. The choice sign as you come in for washes was taken down. Didn't vacuum the whole car. The outside below the seat, wasn't vacuumed. Didn't add shine to the wheels & didn't clean inside of the back window. Plus, the grounds weren't mowed. There's not a lot of car wash options in Litchfield so there's no competition to motivate this place to better service. I bought the membership which included inside and outside of the car. My main gripe about this car wash is that when someone wants their car vacuumed, rather than do it to the side before it goes through the wash, they do it just before it goes into the wash -- making all who are behind wait while the service is performed. This makes for long, unnecessary delays. It's frequently impossible just to get in and out quickly. In addition, it's located on a curve of 202 in a very busy place making entering and exiting hazardous at times. read more

Do not come here with a new car! The brushes they use for a pre scrub before the car enters the wash are dirty and rough. The bucket they sit in has to be full of dirt and the actual brush itself looks like something you would scrub a toilet with. My car is full of scratches everywhere they went with the brush. I have been here at least 3 times now. Each time is worse than the last. The individuals that initially clean the car simply just rush to get through it. Consequently, the wheels are never clean, the interior is barely vacuumed, and the windows are all smudged. As many previous reviews have mentioned, the brushes are dirty and the vehicle does not come out as one would expect. To top it all off, the bronze package, which is the cheapest is $17. You have to exit your vehicle, which is annoying. The brushes aren't cleaned all that frequently so you are guaranteed a million hairline/micro scratches in the clear coat. Otherwise, it's the nearest car wash in the local area. Prices are expensive but not unreasonable. read more

Basic mechanical cleaning is the same as all car washes, so it is just fine here too. However the hand cleaning is only ok often leaving brake soot on the rims and any hard to remove gunk on the paint job. The interior clean up and vacuuming which used to be good and now is poor, quick and incomplete. Also some words to the wise, if it is raining they have no awnings so will not wash you car as they cannot operate any of the electrical equipment like vacuums in the rain (agreed safety first) and if it snows they do not seem to always use a plow service so they may or may not be ready and open at the normal time even if it is just a dusting, as it takes a while for the staff to hand shovel the drive and parking lots. This is a business that places the guest last, and themselves first. read more

Monthly Customers are getting over charged. Due to the pandemic, Personal Touch no longer vacuums the car, cleans out the inside of the car, washes the insiders of windows, dries the insides of the door openings and applies tire shine. However, Personal Touch charges the same amount despite the significant reduction in services. I called the manager and asked why they haven't adjusted their rates to reflect the reduction in services. The manager explained that it was my responsibility to come down and choose a plan that offered less services. That is a misleading response. Customers didn't ask for significantly less services for the same charges, Personal Touch did. Actually I want those services and am happy to pay for them as we agreed when I signed the monthly contract. But if Personal Touch is going to cut back on the promised services due to the pandemic, they should adjust their prices accordingly. I think it is fortunate that the Personal Touch chain has been able to stay open during the pandemic while others have been forced to close. But I don't think it is fair to use the guise of the pandemic to increase their prices and pretend differently while everyone is struggling to survive. read more

i've been here twice. The first time my car still had dirt on the tailgate (common since I have a large SUV, but not okay if you're paying almost $20). The second time I was sexually harassed. I got out of my vehicle to get a few items in the back seat. I was standing on my running boards when I heard a very loud whistle. I immediately jumped back since i was startled and "fell" right into the arms of one of the non-English speaking attendants. I was confused over what happened, then he licked his lips and blew a kiss at me. I was then appalled and didn't know what to do. I went inside and told the girl at the register and she said that they are sometimes like that. WHAT?! I wrote an email to the owner and never heard back. They did a great job washing the outsider on a "Silver" wash. They got all the mud off the car. However, not such a good job cleaning the inside. Could have done a better job vacuuming and left a few mud stains. read more
