My elderly mom uses Jenny's services three times a week and we couldn't be happier. Jenny is the consummate professional. She is very focused on her job which is to give the client the best training session possible based on their needs and abilities that particular day. Jenny is always on time, and gently coaxes my mom to do more and work harder while being very cognizant of my mom's limitations (which can change from session to session) and making sure my mom does not get injured. Jenny is also very open to suggestions on modifying the training sessions based on updated goals. She is a great communicator and very kind to my mother as well. Jenny has trained my mom's caregivers to do specific exercises on the other four days of the week so that my mom can continue to increase her strength, balance and ability to walk for longer and longer stretches on her own without assistance. My mom's physical abilities and strength have improved since having Jenny as her trainer. Jennifer is my personal trainer and she is great! I highly recommend her. Our sessions go by so fast because she always teaches me various new workouts that target different areas of my body. I never get bored! She is also so friendly and gives me necessary encouragements to finish the workout. However, she is not a softy because she knows when to push me and her workouts always make me sore after. She is also flexible so I can easily communicate with her on last minute changes. I had male personal trainers before and I never really felt comfortable, but with her, I can sweat buckets. Lastly, she is a great personal trainer because I feel like she genuinely cares about my concerns and weight loss goal. I can tell that she loves this job more than just a "job". I found Jenny "accidentally" while searching for a personal trainer near Glenview with a small gym as working from my house was not an option. I came across Jenny's name, reached out to her and the rest is history ;) I know Jenny works with a lot of clients out of there homes, but for me that wouldn't have worked. So she has access to a small gym where we meet 2-3 times a week. Even though my workouts are usually around similar times she checks with me a few days before to finalize the scheduled. And she is flexible if I need to change things, or even cancel when something comes up. Now - to the actual work outs :) we're always moving, from one set to another. No down time! It's like I have gained another friend that I can share all my concerns with. I use to have male trainers and I just felt uncomfortable. I've been working with Jenny for 8 months now. I've always worked out, but I just turned 60 and I wanted to work with a trainer to make sure I'm exercising appropriately, without hurting myself. Jenny has been awesome. She comes to the house once a week, is always right on time. She inspires me to push myself further than I would if I was working out on my own, and she mixes up the routines so it's not boring.
