For myself, I have received P.T. from Chris following 2 knee replacements.. both knees are still strong after ten years. in the interim I have returned for P.T. for shoulder , back and balance issues which have been resolved each time under Chris' personalized therapy and home exercise plan. I usually park curbside by the parking lot so I can utilize the apron for the walker/wheelchair. My wife who has MS actually goes here for PT and she LOVES it! Sarah is very nice and very caring about my wife's individual needs. She devices different exercises for her to do to suit her strength and fatigue levels. My ENT recommended Sandy, and I am so glad to have found her. I saw her three times in the space of a month, and the difference has been astounding. Within a week my neck and shoulders felt significantly less tense, and each week got better and better. Today I also came in with a sore throat and esophageal discomfort from a bad acid reflux/esophagitis episode; Sandy was able to gently stretch the area, and now I have no pain whatsoever. She might be a wizard. A few hours later, I was able to hit the Eb above High C with no difficulty; it has been months since I've been able to do that! I think this all stems from an old brachial plexus injury; I went to PT for that 6 years ago, but I never fully recovered; with Sandy's help, I have much more mobility, and I have strategies for working out that tension. Sandy is very warm, knowledgable, and personable! The facility is quite lovely, too! I did have to pay out of pocket for my three visits, but honestly it was worth every penny! She also didn't try to push a ton of sessions on me. We are done after three visits (one 60-minute session, and two 30-minute sessions), and I feel like I know how to proceed on my own from here. From the Assistant to the physical therapist, LPT is the place for professional, thorough, caring, compassionate physical therapy. The therapists take their time and explain each modality to you and why it's going to help you and how this will help aid in one's recovery. Before I had fractured my left arm from a slip and fall, I had broken my left index finger 20 years earlier. Hands down...this is the place to be taken care of.

First off, I still give LSF PT five stars. Their location is great, I enjoy their awesome gym, and the people that work there are great. If you are busy, already a member at this gym, it's a great choice. And thanks to this place, I met Meredith. Meredith was the star who helped me get through some tough nagging injuries - so I felt compelled to state that she moved on from this location. She really went the extra mile and I mean, look at all the reviews she's garnered for this business, that's saying something. If you aren't necessarily set on being inside the gym and want someone with an awesome reputation, look her up. At the end of the day, either LSF or Meredith are great choices and FAR superior to the greedy corporate chain in the greater Chicago area, so I am happy to keep my five star review of LSF PT.

Ever been seen only by an assistant for a PT appointment, no Dr.? Despite having an appointment…read morewith the DPT, scheduled weeks in advance, there was neither time or hands-on manipulation with the Dr. during a one hour session. I've been at multiple providers over the past 20 years in several states, and this is the only practice where I've had the experience of being shifted to an assistant for a full appointment, not 1/2 hour with a DPT and then a 1/2 hour with a PTA or assistant to do exercises. If that's fine with you, both Mary Kate (DPT & owner) and Stella (PTA) were both excellent when I did have time with them. They charge you the same fee no matter the level of education and experience. I pay OOP and for $140/hr, I expect to spend half the appointment with a fully trained Dr. of physical therapy, not a full hour with an assistant who has 2 years educaction or less. Out of 4 appointments, intake was the only "normal" appointment of 1/2 DPT and 1/2 exercise coach. It's just not the level of therapy I've previously received, and I went elsewhere to finish my recovery program The clinic's response to my concerns was "Our cash rate is based on the type and length of skilled physical therapy service provided, rather than which licensed clinician performs it. This is standard practice, since both PTs and PTAs deliver the same level of skilled care under the therapist's direction". They do not! DPT's, PTA's and non licensed exercise assistants are not equal in their coursework or skills!

I've been to many chiropractors and Dr. Robinson was the first one to do X-rays. And guess what we found. I have S-Curve scoliosis. With all the pain that I have been experiencing: Dr Robinson figured out what it was and is helping me stay on top of it. He is working with me to keep me active : playing tennis and lifting weights. Judy is the in house massage therapist and she knows what she is doing too! She will work on you and get your muscles warmed up before your adjustment. I've also had an hour massage from her. EXCELLENT. They are so friendly here, very knowledgeable and will help you toward your health goals! I'm a forever client now!
