I called and they said to come in right away. I do not have vision insurance, but the prices were still reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wait was less than 30 minutes and the eye doctor was outstanding. We hit it off right away and I felt totally at ease with him. He was very efficient and explained everything he was doing. It turns out my vision issues were likely caused by stress which I had much of at the time. My husband has been to this location several times and has always had a great experience. We both are long overdue for vision exams and new glasses. Maybe writing this review will remind me to go!

When I went to leave, they said it was $40. I told them that I was told I didn't owe anything. They argued rudely, so I finally paid. After all these years, I decided to give them another chance. After changing some things around, came in for my appointment today. They said they cancelled it yesterday. They said they called me several times about my insurance and I wouldn't call them back. I showed them on my phone that I haven't gotten any calls from them. I asked if they could just do it now. They said no. That was it just no. I said I'll have to go somewhere else. They said fine.

My wife had a pair of glasses bought from America's Best in Canton MI. The screw fell out of the glasses. My wife was able to find the screw and the lens. When my wife went to America's Best in Canton MI and asked if they could put her glasses back together; my wife was told the glasses were more than a year old and America's Best would not fix the glasses. Thinking that this sounded odd my wife went back a second time several days later to a different person and was told the same thing. They will not fix her pair of glasses because the glasses are over a year old but she could buy a new pair of glasses.

At least one of the two I pick out each of those times I have went always gets scanned and marked as "discontinued." What does that mean? The other location I have been to in the past, were quick and efficient. I have worn contacts since I was 11 and haven't had any issues with doctors. I have had two appointments at this location because the first appointment the doctor couldn't get a good read on my eyes because they were "swollen". I have paid 130$ for both glasses and contacts prescription, yet have only been handed a glasses prescription. The doctor changed my contacts to daily's without asking if that's what I want cause that is what they believe I "need". Which was whatever, annoying but I just want contacts. I went to pick up the trials today, because I received a text message they were ready. The receptionists continued to talk without giving me service (common occurrence because this also happened during my appointments). They didn't give me my contacts today because "the doctor needs to see me in them". They couldn't get me in right away cause other people were waiting (understandable). But I wish they told me that I needed to set up another appointment when they texted me that the trials were ready to be picked up before I drove to their business. Poor communication and service. Last time I'm ever going to this location.
