Greeted by a very pleasant and friendly staff, the appointment ran behind 15 minutes yet the doctor approached me twice in those 15 minutes explaining why he was behind and that he would be with me shortly. My exam was great. It's been 2 years and I'm looking forward to seeing things a little "crisper". I thought about going with contacts as well and the doctor was very thorough concerning my options since I need bifocals. After the exam I was immediately helped with a staff member, I wish I could remember her name, she was fantastic, and shown a large and pretty wide selection of frames covered under my insurance. I found a pair that I just love and am really looking forward to wearing. Because I wanted the progressive lenses, I can't stand those bifocal lines, she was able to get me another pair for backup (with the lines) and my preferred pair for a huge savings. So I'm getting a great new pair of glasses and a new look, a backup pair which I always seem to need at times for South of $300. That's amazing to me. This location was very understanding and helpful. One particular staff member walked me through resolving an issue I had a my neighborhood SVS. I faced a situation where the size, frame type, and frame material were no longer available. The new frames I picked have grown on me although initially my local SVS did not offer me thinner lenses, nor the rolled and polished edges. The person I worked with when I arrived heard me, helped me and got me exactly what I wanted. When I returned to pick up my glasses the original staff member wasn't there, and the one who took care of me was a little impersonal as a character trait, but still adjusted my nose pads and got me squared away. I plan to return next year to this location, and to never return to the one nearest my home. read more

This SVS location is great. The staff are very organized and it is clean. I have had a great experience there so far. I have a stronger prescription which is harder to get contacts and glasses for and they actually figure out solutions and are getting me the correct glasses I need. I like the Dr he figured out that my contacts prescription from the SVS location I went before moving to this area was too strong. So he got me the correct prescription. I have been interacting with Peter there as well and he is super knowledgeable, is a certified Optician and actually figures out solutions to help people. The whole staff was very approachable and professional. SVS took care of me 4 years ago and the experience i had before is what brought me back. The time and different location thankfully didn't change my experience. The Optometrist made me feel relaxed and comfortable during the exam and i didn't feel like i was being rushed, which is definitely helpful coming after the pandemic when it came to appointment only for a visit. Lastly the front end made picking a frame easy and without insurance they helped me get the best frame for my price range and the best deals. Everyone there are great. Let me tell you, Im very picky and I try on many pairs of glasses until I can find the right one. They are patient and helpful as I work through the stress of choosing which ones fit me best. Sherry knows all too well how long it takes me to pick them out and with no complaints. Not even a flinch if I return (within my time limit) and tell them " I don't really like these can we exchange them". When arrived for my appointment, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile. The doctor is very thorough and explains everything. Everyone was so helpful and made sure I understood what was happening and any changes made to my prescription were explained as well. The gentleman helping me pick out frames was very knowledgeable on what frames to look for/what brands they didn't have. He also helped me know how to recycle my old glasses. Fantastic customer service all around. Everyone working there was super friendly and conversational while delivering a quality eye exam. I was sort of worried going in that they'd try to upsell me on a pair of glasses that I didn't really need, but they were incredibly communicative and open about my eye care needs and I did not feel that they were trying to prioritize a sale over my eye health. Very positive experience. The doctor was very patient and kind. The staff helped me pick out my frames because I wanted the perfect fit. My new glasses arrived in 2 days...fast! When I picked them up the staff made sure I was completely satisfied before I left. They handed me a cleaning kit, gave helpful advice and information regarding my glasses and out the door I went! The staff is AMAZING! Very helpful when needed to try out glasses, adjusting, all the paperwork and super friendly. The doctors there are wonderful as well. I prefer the doctors at this location so I drive a little further to see them even though there is an office closer to me. Love the sanitizer station at the door and they check your temperature at door and ask you covid question also the way that you are greeted at the door. I walked in to pick out frames as I had already had my exam elsewhere, the ladies in there were so patient and helpful. Once I picked out my frames I was told 8-10 business days for them to be finished and it took literally 5 days! I am so happy with my frames and the staff in there are absolutely amazing!!! read more
