I had service done on my mazda cx-5 on this monday and I am terribly disappointed at their service. Since I bought the vehicle from Peruzzi, I wanted to bring my car for a free service and they assured me that my service would be free. But after I brought my vehicle, they told me that the service would be done for free but they showed me an air-filter and told me they had to change it and the total cost would be around $90 ($28 for air filter and $62 for installing the air filter). I did not know initially that the air filter hardly costs $20-$25 and I was shocked they charged me $62 labor charge for installing it. Moreover, the airfilter on my car didn't even look that bad and my car had only 20k miles on it. I could've gone without having it changed for another 10k miles. I seriously think this is another way you try to get the customers overpay for something they don't need. I have seen the procedure for installing the air filter later and I am truly disappointed at the labor charge you have billed me to just installing the air filter. Anyone who is familiar with changing air filter will know that $62 labor charge is absurd for changing just oil filter. I would never come back to Peruzzi again and I wouldn't recommend any one to Peruzzi. read more

I had a great experience with Peruzzi Mazda. They were all very friendly, honest and professional people. I worked with Doug who was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the honesty of the sales people and dealership. They showed how the price broke down and did not do the normal awkward push for extras. They offered the extra warranty explained the benefits and did not go to excessive lengths to get us to purchase the extra warranties after we said no. Overall, I am very please with my experience at Peruzzi Mazda. I highly recommend the dealership and Doug. Plus I love my car. :) read more

Update: I had to take my car three times before it was fixed correctly. When a repair is made, you would think it would be checked to make sure it is fixed. That makes me not want to take my car there for service again. Would I buy a car from Peruzzi again? Absolutely. Not so sure about the service department. read more

Wow, I'm shocked to see such negative reviews... I leased a 2016 Mazda 6 iGrand Touring there last night and came away thoroughly satisfied. My salesman Doug was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, Matt in finance was great and Jordan, the new vehicle manager was great, even offering me one of his personal flavored waters from the employee lunchroom. The pricing was spot on to what I was quoted on their website, no bait and switch here. The entire process was quick and pleasant from start to finish... would gladly recommend and return myself for any new vehicle. read more

My son bought his first car today, 2018 Mazda6. It took 2 previous disappointments with 2 other dealers to see, the 3RD WAS THE CHARM. I give today a solid 5! From my calling last night and speaking with Steve to get hours to showing up today for our first AM appointment. We pulled up and Steve had asked his salesman, Doug Muro to keep an eye out for us. Not only did he do that, he pulled the car up that we wanted to see and had it all ready. We went for a test drive and Doug knew this car inside and out. Gave us so much information and let me say, one hell of a nice, professional salesman. Doug and my son connected very well. They spoke like they've known each other. Doug made all of us feel very comfortable and offered us space to discuss all with our son. We could not have asked for a better experience. We sat down with Steve for the financial end and again, so easy to talk to and explained all with ease. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO GO TO THIS MAZDA DEALER. And its about 40 minutes from us but so worth the drive. I'd do service all over again with these gentlemen. read more

I would rate my experience a 0 but yelp doesn't let me. After coming in to look at a mazda cx9 and a pathfinder we were disappointed to find neither that meet our needs. Then after a days we received a message from the salesman saying a car was coming in that we wanted and was in our price range. We confirmed 3 separate times that the car would be there and of course when we arrived our salesman as well as the car were not there. Never considering peruzzi to buy a car again. After a defective tire coming off my leased car from Peruzzi Mazda on a major highway causing me to lose control of my vehicle this dealership told me they "do not handle tire warranties" and sent me to a tire shop down the road, which "might" (they in fact, did not). After a wild goose chase and visiting 3 tire places I ended up at Fred Beans FORD where the service desk was extremely helpful and found me the number of the tire company. My husband returned to the Peruzzi Mazda dealership the next day, calling the tire company himself in their lobby who said the dealership are the ones they work with to fix the tire. Magically, after tracking down the tire company number (Thank you Fred Beans!), calling it ourselves, and sending my husband back to the Peruzzi dealership they did handle the tire with the tire company. What a waste of everyone's time. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will NEVER give them my business again. read more

I recently bought my Mazda3 here, and I was so delighted with the experience. I was nervous going in, as it was my first time car shopping by myself. My salesperson was Doug Muro, and I would refer anyone to him! He was helpful, informative, patient, and very low pressure (which made it a unique experience from other dealerships I had been visiting). He made me so much more comfortable taking this big step. My wife and I went to look at a couple of used Miatas the dealer had advertised. We went on Memorial Day as it asn't too busy. We were promptly greeted by a very polite salesman, no issues with him whatsoever. The first car we wanted to look at wouldn't start. It happens occasionally, I get that. The salesman knew it probably wouldn't start based on his previous experience. Well, that's indicative of poor product preparation. If you know a car has a starting issue, fix it if you expect to sell it. The second car had a top that was in very poor condition. Threadbare in spots, actually. I opened the trunk to check for leaks and was greeted by a saturated trunk mat with a puddle in the trunk. The floor on the passenger side had about a half inch or water as well. Now in all fairness, we had torrential rain the night before. However, the top was plainly in need of replacement even to my untrained eyes. It would have been smarter for the dealer to address this issue before putting the car up for sale. Instead they decided to be cheap and lost the sale because of it. Very poor business practices in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend them based on that. read more

Buying a new or used vehicle is not a super fun process, it feels like a game of back and forth, just trying to whittle the price down with this dealer versus that dealer versus the internet. Between Monday when I started test driving and Friday when I bought the car, I had talked with no less than 5 other dealers and a week later I am still getting phone calls from random dealers because I put my name and number into the edmunds website. Unlike the competition who was pressuring me to come into the dealership and 'work out a deal' without a final price, Peruzzi was much more straightforward and willing to negotiate a final price over the phone. The internet sales person Melissa and her manager Tom handled the whole negotiating process with 2 emails and 3 phone calls and locked in a really great offer on a new cx5. The other dealer I was originally using was still a few hundred bucks more expensive for the same package, and couldn't beat the price. He switched his tactics in the face of losing the sale, saying negative things about Peruzzi. He said that they would try to stick me with hidden fees or charges at the last second, or that they wouldn't offer the same level service. At that point I looked at yelp reviews, while they are kinda mixed on here, I also think some of the problems could happen to any dealer really. In the end, there were no hidden fees, the paperwork was ready to go at the price we agreed on, and everyone was friendly and easy going. A week has passed and I'm super happy with my new car and just wanted to chime in with a positive experience, buying a car should be more straightforward, but compared to the competition Peruzzi did rise above the rest, for me. read more

I chose Peruzzi Mazda because I was already considering a Mazda 3, they had a few decently priced used cars on their website and the dealership was close to my office. My dad went with me for a test drive and we were greeted by Sunny Lam. He was helpful and not pushy which made the process a little more relaxed. The test drive was great and a few days later I made the purchase. So far so good. I did however find the manager a bit on the slimy side while trying to negotiate the price. He sold us the same story you always get but I feel like we could have ended up at the same price without having to go through that awkward process. I was also a little disappointed that they filled out the paperwork with PA state tax instead of Philly tax as they were trying to sell me on all of the extras and extended warranties. But I went in a few days later and they made the correction very quick and painless. I don't think I got a stellar price but I also didn't feel like I got ripped off. Overall good experience for a car dealership (which I enjoy about as much as a trip to the dentist). Thanks Sunny and Peruzzi Mazda. We had a great experience at Peruzzi Mazda today. Our salesman turned out to be a young man named Doug. We were with my 80 year old mother, trying to find the right car that she could see well and reach the pedals. Doug went to his manager and had him get a list of the used cars on their lots that met our criteria. He warmed up a car and took us around to the different cars, each time warming them up for her, and helping her to figure out if she could get the seats adjusted correctly. When she picked one, she did not want to drive on Route one so he took her to a parking lot, and told her he would be more comfortable selling her the car, if he knew she could comfortably drive it, which she did. When we got back, we had a car insurance problem because my Dad passed away recently and the insurance had been under his business, that was no longer in operation. Doug called insurance companies and sat with us for hours trying to iron out the details so my Mom could have her car. She had been without a car for 2 weeks after a family member had totaled her car and we were so grateful that Doug had been so patient and so kind. From the moment we walked in the door, our salesperson, the loan officer, and the general manager, everyone we encountered could not have been more friendly and helpful. Before this experience, we had used Peruzzi's repair people for our Mazda which we purchased at Reedmans two years ago. The Peruzzi service people have also been so wonderful. Again, every person we encountered was friendly and helpful! They always fixed our problem first time around and never collected a penny from us. They arranged for us to use after work hours for pick up and did all the paperwork to get paid from the Mazda warranty. I would highly recommend anyone needing a car, or needing a repair for their car, get in touch with the Peruzzi people. read more

I'm pretty shocked by all the bad reviews. I contacted the Internet manager, Tom, and received professional, personalized service. I went 20-30 minutes out of my way to deal with this Mazda dealership over one that was much closer to my work and home. Once I showed up for my test drive, Nicole took care of me and was very patient and professional as well. Tom, Nicole, and John, the finance manager stayed over an hour past closing to make sure I was comfortable with the terms of my lease and make it possible for me to drive home the same night in my new car. Went in to see car, agreed upon a deal, got buyers order & while at the dealership I called my credit union, I was already pre-approved for all financing, sent over buyers order & called my insurance company & added car to my policy. They tried to get me to use one of their finance companies but told them I wasn't interested in theirs since I was already approved. After going thru all this they tell me they don't accept down payments on a used vehicle & that the car will still be offered to anyone who walks thru the door after I leave. So I tell them I want it, it's sold, I'll bring them the check Monday morning as that is when the loan dept can cut check. I leave & then get an email couple hours later that says they sold the car to someone else who came in and did "everything" today. In other words they used their finance company which more than likely benefits them more financially than me bring in my own cash. This dealership has no loyalty to a customer just the money. Very slimy & sleaze tactics to sell a car out from under someone after a deal has been agreed upon. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! read more
