Purchased a truck from this dealership and days later while sitting was pouring out fluid on our driveway. We took it to a local reputable dealership and found out the engine and trans were both leaking. We called back and after numerous attempts to speak with the salesman/manager and getting the run around he told us to bring it back to them and have their shop look at it. They supposedly fixed something and Brandon told us to drive the car and it should be fine. We drove it and sure enough the "low oil" light came on. We put a huge piece of cardboard under the car and in the morning saw oil on the cardboard. Checked the oil and there was absolutely nothing on the dipstick. I bought a car from them November 20020 and two weeks later the engine went bad! I called them and they sent me to a mechanic who works with their warranty. They tried to get me to pay the $1500 deductible because of the warranty and I got the owner to agree to pay $1000. I had to pay the $500. After that I been having problems with the car ever since.The customer service was fine, the cars were clean but all seemed to have high mileage on them. Recently came to Dependable Auto Outlet to buy my first car. Originally I was planning to get a hyundai or honda hatchback but I ended up leaving with a Volvo sedan. We talked and worked out a great deal, the car came with a 1 year warranty and they had all the inspections done, the car arrived really recently, it's only been at the lot for a week. I fell in love the moment I sat inside, interior was great, everything is well kept. The engine was clean. The trunk was tidy. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Adam at this dealership on 9/29/18. By early October, I began to have issues with the transmission. My boyfriend and I took the car back to Dependable Auto on 10/20/18 so that they can figure out what was wrong with the transmission. The owner was there when we arrived and was so grateful that we went back to the dealership as opposed to going somewhere else or trying to "fix the problem" ourselves. We left the car there for a few days so that it can get repaired and when we picked it up, we were reassured that everything was fine and again praised for bringing the car back to them for repair. On December 8, 2018, my car broke down on my way home with my children and I had to request road assistance. The next day I took my car to a local repair shop at the request of Dependable Auto because "I had extended warranty." I had to pay the repair shop $409 because they had to change the transmission oil and clean the filter. The warranty did not cover that expense. This was something that should have been done by the dealership prior to me purchasing the car. I was also informed that there was in fact something wrong with the transmission. I called Adam to let him know what was going on and he was supposed to give this information to his boss and call me back. I am still waiting for a phone call. I have left numerous messages for Adam and to the owner of the shop and no one would return my calls. I've also spoken to other workers there asking what repairs were done in October, and no can give me an answer. There is no record of the repair. On 12/26/18, my car broke down again in NYC. I live in PA. I was able to get my car towed on 1/2/19. As I am writing this, my car is currently in a repair shop in NYC. I needed a new transmission after all. I've been waiting for two weeks for the insurance company that Dependable Auto uses for extended warranty to pay for the repairs. This ordeal has been a total NIGHTMARE! My experience with Dependable Auto has been a very frustrating and draining one. They are unreliable, untruthful, and don't seem to care about their customers after they have made their sale. I Recently purchased a vehicle from here, a supposedly "zero accident" 2008 Audi A6 to be precise, along with a 4 year "bumper to bumper" warranty according to the dealer. My experience has been less than satisfying. Within two days of purchase I brought my vehicle into my local shop for a vibration while driving, turns out I had 3 bent rims to the tune of $477 repair cost. After informing the dealer of this and a couple days of arguing, they finally agreed to pay me $200 in compensation, not even half of my cost. Upon picking my vehicle up from the rim repair shop, I was further informed that my vehicle had in fact been in an accident prior to my purchase. A question that I had presented to the dealer to which their response was "No, here's the CARFAX" at the time of purchase. The technician at the repair shop pointed out to me where the body filler was so thick that it was actually cracking and falling off. This is the case on my passenger side front and rear doors. My front passenger door doesn't even lock so I am not able to secure my personal belongings in my vehicle. I have yet to get a quote for these repairs. I have notified the dealer and they have failed to make any offer to make this right. They sold me the car under the false pretense that it was fully functional and had no accident history. I purchased this vehicle so I had something more dependable to work full time as well as attend college at night. Now I will be spending my Veteran's school benefits on car repairs and rental fees while I sort this debacle out on my own since the dealer is not willing to accept responsibility. read more

I do not even know where to start about this horrible place. I purchased a vehicle a few months ago from these guys and when we wanted to exchange it for another vehicle, they would change the price everyday. Everyday I drive out there, the price would go up. These guys are horrible at doing business. They just want your money! So I have this car now, a Nissan Altima, and when I went to inspect it, it failed! Has anyone ever bought a car straight from a dealership to have it fail a simple inspection? This was a joke. I brought it back to the dealership and all they told me was used cars aren't perfect. They told me to bring it to their shop in New York. So now they sell you broken cars and recommend their only shop which is almost 2 hours away. Such an inconvenience! I finally decided to bring it out there because I did have a warranty that covered for 50% of the repairs... or I thought I did. After waiting almost 2 weeks I get a call telling me my car is repaired and ready for pick up. Mind you that if you fail an inspection you have 30 days to get it repaired and reinspected. I drive over an hour out to the shop to pick up my car and paid "FULL" price. What I mean by this is that I understand that the cost of my repairs was exactly how much I paid and that the dealer told the mechanic to charge me double so that the "warranty" would bring it down to its actual price. What a bunch of fakes. Like that wasn't bad enough, on my way home from the mechanic that same day my car broke down again! Not even an hour back from the mechanic, the engine fails. It was the most frightening experience ever having the car fail in the middle of the turnpike. I had no choice but to get it towed to my house which was VERY expensive. I called the mechanic the next day and told him about the problem. He tells me he would fix it for free. So I immediately tow it back, a two hour drive for the tow truck driver. After a silent week, the dealer hasn't called and neither has the mechanic. I finally call the mechanic and was told, that he cannot repair it for free. You can imagine my expression. This whole journey for a simple car, has been full of fake promises and lies. Today it has been a total of a month and a week. I am already being fined for missing the inspection deadline. The dealer is ignoring my calls. My car is ready for pick up. PLEASE stay away from this dealership. There are plenty better dealers out there. Any dealer is BETTER than here. BEWARE of this place. They are clearly not interested in fixing their problems. read more
