I was able to find some incredible deals on exactly what I needed and will most definitely be back. This thrift store was such a cute little find! It's on the smaller side, but they made great use of…read morethe space and offered a nice variety of items--from household goods and furniture to knickknacks, children's clothing, and books. It was a fun spot to browse, and I enjoyed taking my time looking through everything. The clothing section wasn't huge, but what they had was decent and well-curated. I really appreciated that the pieces were in good condition--no noticeable stains, holes, or overly worn items. Pricing for clothing was very reasonable, which made it even more worthwhile to dig through the racks. The household items and furniture, however, were priced much higher, with some pieces ranging into the hundreds. One big downside is that there's no restroom on-site. If you need one, you'll have to walk over to the tractor shop next door--which, while not terrible, is definitely inconvenient. Overall, I wish they had a larger clothing selection, but the quality, pricing (on clothes), and overall charm still made this a pleasant stop.

I have gone 5 times now in the past 3 months and think they are pretty much equal in a lot of areas. So here's a pro/con list. St Vin Goodwill Pricing is pretty equal on clothing Selection is better at goodwill meaning they have waaaay more items. -goodwill is open till 9pm every single night; st vin is not open at all on fri sat Sun. St vin doesn't have as much to offer people under the age of 30; goodwill does. But one thing does put st vin above goodwill for me... they are not lying to the general public as a non profit. Please. Goodwill takes in more money than most businesses in cottonwood. But because of a loophole in the laws, goodwill says it provides job searching assistance to the community so it is allowed to be a profitable non profit business. The "job research center" they are talking about, is 2 or 3 computers in the back that at one time, people could use to fill out applications. First, everyone and I mean everyone, knows someone with a computer they could ask to borrow to do that if they don't have one themselves. The public library has always let people use their internet and computers free so it could have been done there. The computers im talking about at this goodwill are used to hold clothing items, they are not even in use. And I'm there 5 days a week multiple hours each time and it's been over a year since they were used to look for a job. It's just a lie to hold their status. Cuz if I was making hundreds of thousands of dollars every month, I wouldn't want to give up my non profit status either. So yes I do shop there because of a selection, but I never ever ever donate to them. Let's face it these are items that most people think of us trash they are throwing them away. Goodwill takes those items and charges a huge amount for them and then doesn't have to be taxes or anything on it. I've seen clothing with stains and rips and blood and whatever else you can think of in there. Only Goodwill has the gall to charge $30 for a stained or ripped coach bag when you can get the same bag on any reselling site like Poshmark or Mercari, it will have no stains no rips and will be less than they will charge us for it. So I prefer St. Vincent for these reasons.

I truly can't believe that in a tourist town they make it so difficult to shop. We have shopped all over Prescott for several days from gift shops, boutiques and vintage/antique shops. Absolutely everyone has been so fun and kind until Mid Century Madness. Won't be going there Ever again- ewwww. Not enough time in my precious day to deal with icky people. I was initially drawn in by the large signs advertising "TRIFT STORE". Since it was displayed on multiple signs, I assumed the misspelling was not accidental. Indeed, there's a sweet story behind the name that you should ask about when you visit. Their prices are average to low, depending on what you're buying. The selection of books and records is massive, well-organized, and really cheap (25 cent paperbacks, 50 cent hardcovers). They have average clothing prices, and a wide selection of sizes. I only had 45 minutes or so to poke around, but I could have spent hours! I ended up with a couple books and a set of ceramic coasters. Worth a look!

The head honchos at the DAV all know about Aaron and his wonderful work at the register, over charging people for things that are marked less and his absolutely rude attitude towards some people. They do not mind. They don't mind if a man is rude to countless people, rips off hundreds and hundreds of people for years and years, as long as they keep pulling in those dollars to keep those recovery people coming in and working the thrift store, they do not care how badly Aaron treats their paying customers. Or if he is charging the prices that are posted. I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that if a woman acted the way Aaron does to customers, she would have been FIRED years ago. The fact that there has been SO many complaints about him for years and years, and not one disciplinary action has been taken, shows his behavior is ALL FINE AND GOOD. He deserves a paycheck, and security in his job, because..... he's ...a man? What could be the reason he still has this job, and nothing about his attitude changes? He has a customer service job, and is FAILING MISERABLY at it. BOTH DAV stores suck because of the upper management. Shop and donate elsewhere.

My go to a lot of the time is vinyl records. While they did have a decent selection it was small. What I loved the most was the furniture pieces. I was bummed to not have brought my truck to lug a few pieces home. Service was ok, but nothing to write home about. Besides a hello when we entered that was it. Prices are great I think. So many beautiful things to take home or give as gifts.
