They had three people on the job, and each were experts and shared a great deal of knowledge with me. They explained everything to me, which was a huge help. The price was reasonable, and I'm sure many other companies could learn from them. I'll definitely be using their services in the future. By the way, it took up to a week for the termites to be completely gone. I had both indoor and outdoor treatments done, and the time it took was minimal.

This family-owned business has truly earned my deepest respect and highest recommendation. We recently experienced something terrifying--a massive swarm of flying termites at our front door. I'm talking thousands of them, buzzing around the entrance and creeping into the stairwell of our split-level home. I was absolutely shaken and didn't know what to do. I called Lanes Termite, and to my absolute relief, they were at our home in under an hour. Their professionalism, urgency, and kind demeanor instantly helped calm my nerves. They got straight to work without hesitation and handled the infestation with confidence and expertise--all for a very fair price. This isn't the first time Lanes has helped us--they previously handled a squirrel problem in our attic with the same care and professionalism. But this termite swarm had me truly panicked, and their quick response was nothing short of a blessing. What I love most about this company is that they've been serving families for over 40 years, and it shows. They bring not just experience, but a personal, trustworthy touch that's rare these days. You can tell they genuinely care. If you're looking for pest control you can trust with your home and peace of mind, look no further. Lanes Termite Service Incorporated is the absolute best.     Unacceptable Customer Service with Miche Pest Control- Virgina…read more I had been a loyal customer of Miche Pest Control for several years, but my experience ending service has been extremely disappointing. I requested cancellation of my service effective September 3rd, and they confirmed it. However, they still charged me for that time period. When I asked for a refund, they refused--even though I was no longer receiving services. This shows that Miche Pest Control values profits over people. Their unwillingness to issue a fair refund after years of business demonstrates poor ethics and disregard for customer loyalty. On top of that, their service quality had already been subpar, which was one of the main reasons I cancelled. I strongly recommend that others avoid this company and instead choose a more reputable provider. You can also check the Better Business Bureau, where you'll find additional complaints from past customers who experienced similar issues My response- that call mentions my renewal is 9/27. Hence the follow up actions. Bottom line that fee includes sept and i am not receiving that due to the cancellation. Its unethical to take someones money and not deliver service. We missed two months of bills because we were in the midst of some issues which I communicated to them. In late December I reached out several times to attempt to speak with them about the bills for payment and service as our portal was not working. They never answered any calls and then blew up my text messages for payment where they argued with me the entire time. We ended up paying for THREE Months of service without any fucking services being done. Already have emailed three times, called and left voicemails and attempted to text them to figure out what's going. HIGHLY do not recommend and your're looking for join the team- take your talents elsewhere. It's clear from all the reviews in the past three months something has changed for the worst at this place.

We have been staying in an apartment about half an hour away but the spiders and mice have been enjoying our house while we've been gone. Our LPA suggested barefoot and I reached out and they scheduled with me for our initial estimate as soon as they could on a day that worked for our schedule. Knowing that we are half an hour away, Mark texts before every appointment 45 minutes before he will be there to give me time to get the kids in their car seats and make the drive. He has been soooo helpful in not only eradicating the pests, but working with our schedule and being understandingly our stressful situation. He was very honest with us about what we needed and didn't need, always right on time for appointments and has worked with me as to not hurt our beneficial critters like our bees, butterflies, mantids and ladybugs. I could not recommend this company enough! After this past year and a half being so hard for us, it has truly been a breath of fresh air to work with such an honest and competent business.

Very flexible and more important they were the only service (after trying 4 others) to maintain proper management of many pests (interior and exterior) on a very wooded property. Also, Mark is a very knowledgeable professional who is honest and clear when sharing the "why and why not" of his trade. Because of Barefoot Pest Control's extensive knowledge and effective pest control techniques, we no longer have an onslaught of pests, especially ants. The technician methodically assessed the problem and approached the nest from inside and outside the house. The technician located the nest and used a pesticide to kill them. The technician also stated that I should watch to see if any yellowjackets attempted to come back and if they did, he would return at no charge.

They showed up a couple of hours after the estimated time window, citing a delay at a previous job. It happens, not a big deal. They came and sprayed around the outside, plugged some gaps, and set up 3 or 4 bait traps and some sticky traps. This took all of 20 minutes. They talked me into a one year service plan that costs $1484. (I immediately felt I had been strong armed by the technician). He had also said the only way we would resolve the mouse problem was to replace all of the insulation in a part of the house. The cost was $10,000+. I declined their upsell. (A second opinion advised this insulation was unnecessary). The service plan was to come back in a month to reassess the mouse situation and replace traps. We scheduled the next service with a window of 9 am - 12 pm. I stayed home from work to wait for them. After hearing nothing , I called at 11 am for a status. I was told they were running behind and could not be there until 1 pm. That didn't work for me so we rescheduled for the next day from 8am - 11am. I stressed that I was only available until 8:45. They reassured me that I would be the first appointment. (We live about 20 minutes from their office). The following day, we stayed home again. Heard nothing until 8:26 when the technician said they were running late and could be there after 9. Frustrated, we adjusted our schedule and waited. The technician showed up reeking of weed. It was apparent the technician had smoked very recently. Perhaps that was part of the reason for the delay. They did the service and left in about 20 minutes. The technician offered to take $50 off for our trouble. Strangely, he Venmo'ed us $25 from his personal account. I called later to express my concerns. I spoke directly to the owner, Thomas. He was professional and offered to personally come back and take a look at the mouse problem. He said he'd cancel our contract and prorate the money if we wished. I stressed I had a very short time window and had to leave the house by 8:45. He assured me multiple times that he'd be "in your driveway by 7:30". The next day, after hearing nothing, I called at 8:30. Thomas had forgotten our appointment. He said he could be there in 20 minutes. I reminded him how he quite literally guaranteed that he'd be in our driveway by 7:30. He eventually said "You're right, you got me". He agreed to refund us our money for the contract. To his credit, Thomas heard my complaint with professionalism and was apologetic. His offer to take care of the issue personally at no additional cost was appreciated. Had he followed through, we would have likely remained customers. I followed up 3 times over the next 3 weeks. Heard nothing until a month later. They refunded me $935, thereby charging me over $500 for two service appointments that took all of 20-30 minutes each. We still have mice. Edit: to suggest this is fabricated is ridiculous and dishonest. Everything is documented in emails.
