Very flexible and more important they were the only service (after trying 4 others) to maintain proper management of many pests (interior and exterior) on a very wooded property. They are responsive and effective! I have been a customer for over 5 years and I am pleased to say they are professional, reliable and consistent. I started with an inside-outside treatment (I was seeing way too mamy spiders) and continued with monthly service to include mosquito treatments (we have the worst reactions to these bites). I've called for wasp nests and as needed mosquito treatments in-between the regular monthly visits and they handle everything surprisingly quickly. Owner - Unbelievably rude. I called for an inspection and recurring service info. Apparently someone came out but I didn't receive a call as to what was found and how to move forward. I waited a day or so then called. The owner answered and he was short. Kept saying $175 to start and $49/mth and it covers insects and rodents. I asked twice, what does "cover" mean and he says the same thing slower, "it covers rodents, roaches, ants...". I said sir, I'm currently in southern Va and down there the coverage includes x number of sprays inside and out on a set schedule. Then the owner gets even more of an attitude like I'm wrong for asking the definition of "covers". And proceeds to forcefully ask me where I'm from. I said Williamsburg then he said yes, I took this appt and we don't do it like them, every three months. I said it was an example so I can understand...then thought why I am taking this tone from someone I'm trying to pay for a service. At this point I'm done and say excuse me, have a nice day. read more

If I could give Mark at Barefoot Pest Control 20 stars, I would - he is seriously that wonderful. Last summer, after weeks of rain, brought a little field mouse into our home. After laying a few traps, my brave husband called Barefoot. Mark showed up THAT DAY, crawled under the house and checked the perimeter for any nests/opening. After spending an hour outside that humid summer day, Mark informed us that the mouse was probably a stray that walked in an open door. He said he could place some traps if we wanted him too, but what my husband had would suffice. He started to pack his things and we asked how much we owed him for the visit. He said nothing and almost walked out the door before we damn near screamed, "HEY WILL YOU BE OUR PEST CONTROL GUY?" Sure, says Mark, and he lays out the pricing and what it involves. Mark inspected both the exterior of my home and my attic and he didn't find any issues. Absolutely wonderful service! After a 19 months of disputing with Statefarm we are finally able to start fixing the damage in our home. We have been staying in an apartment about half an hour away but the spiders and mice have been enjoying our house while we've been gone. Our LPA suggested barefoot and I reached out and they scheduled with me for our initial estimate as soon as they could on a day that worked for our schedule. Knowing that we are half an hour away, Mark texts before every appointment 45 minutes before he will be there to give me time to get the kids in their car seats and make the drive. He has been soooo helpful in not only eradicating the pests, but working with our schedule and being understandingly our stressful situation. He was very honest with us about what we needed and didn't need, always right on time for appointments and has worked with me as to not hurt our beneficial critters like our bees, butterflies, mantids and ladybugs.
