I chose this place because of their Yelp rating and I concurred with why they are rated high. Why did I give my review 5 stars? They had a process, from intaking me as a customer, to filling out the proper paperwork (as a first time customer for them). When I came in they did an analysis on my dog to determine what is needed, and asked me what I would like to have happen. They did a great job on grooming my pet and make sure he smelled good at the end. They provided me recommendations on how often to come in. They gave my dog praises and a treat once he was done. They provided pictures of how the results were prior to my picking him up. They provided in detail any items to pay attention to that they noticed. Great job on being thorough and taking care of the customer. Great job on treating other customers (not just myself, but I observed how they treated others as well). If there were any downsides to mention, it would be that their prices are a little more on the premium side than what I'm used to (as my previous groomer for my dog parted ways with her employer, so I had to find a new one). They are not the cheapest in town but they do a really good job with a full cut and full groom. For our 12lb Maltipoo mix it's usually around $100 full service plus tip. We called to see if we could make an appointment and they told us they could actually accommodate a a walk-in right then, so we drove over immediately. The customer service was extremely attentive. They have pictures of all different haircuts so they can walk you through choosing your dog's haircut, and they get all of your information on several forms to make sure you can choose all of the options you want. We just took this dog in from a friend and she had some matting, so they were very attentive and told us beforehand what they could do for that. They cut her short so that next time we could avoid mats. She got the full service, was ready very quickly, and looked adorable in her little collar bow. She seemed very happy when we picked her up and it seemed like they were kind to her. Her full surface bath, haircut, expressed anal glands, clipped nails, and cleaned ears cost $80, which is a great price. With tip, it was $100. They also sent us pictures of her after her grooming, which I thought was a very sweet touch since I always take pictures of my dogs when they get home from grooming, but it's hard to get good ones. The pictures they took were very cute, as you can see. We will definitely return for her future groomings as well. While we were there, I was surprised to see how many cats they were grooming. My wife took our Persian cat here for grooming about a week ago, and we were honestly really disappointed with the result. One of the features we love most about him is his long ear furnishings/inner ear hairs, and after the grooming we immediately noticed they had been trimmed very unevenly. When we reached out, we were told it may have happened accidentally because he moved during grooming and that they normally do not trim that area. However, after looking more closely, I noticed both sides had actually been trimmed -- not just one -- which makes it hard to believe this was only a small accidental clip. We did end up bringing him back so they could try to even it out, but by then the damage was already done and now both sides are much shorter than before. For Persian and long-haired cat owners, details like this are a huge part of their appearance. I do appreciate that they apologized, but we're still very unhappy with the outcome. Our experience with Pet Beloved's grooming services was deeply disappointing and showed a serious lack of professionalism, honesty, and accountability. Shortly after our two cats were groomed at their facility, both developed ear infections: one with a ruptured eardrum. This caused significant pain and distress and required urgent veterinary treatment, which was unplanned and costly. One of our cats is still recovering under veterinary care. During the appointment, staff also mentioned finding a single flea on one of our cats and that we would be contacted if needed. It is important to note that our third cat, who was not groomed at Pet Beloved, remained completely healthy and developed no ear infection, supporting the timeline that this occurred after the grooming. We immediately notified Pet Beloved, provided veterinary documentation confirming the diagnosis, and even gave them permission to contact the clinic directly. Instead of addressing the situation responsibly, the business delayed responding and gave inconsistent, false explanations, including claiming that our cats arrived in that condition and that they were too "busy" to contact us. Staff did not mention any ear issues before, during, or immediately after grooming; the claim of pre-existing discharge was only made after we raised concerns. These statements contradict both the veterinary records and our direct communication, raising serious concerns about their honesty and commitment to animal welfare. One especially concerning claim that was added in response to our Google review was that our veterinary documents showed "lack of timely treatment" as a reason for the ear infection. This is absolutely untrue. We sought veterinary care promptly as soon as possible, and no document we provided from licensed vets contains any reference to delayed treatment. The veterinary report confirms the infection and the ruptured eardrum, but does not specify a cause. After reviewing the full situation, including the flea, lifestyle, and indoor living conditions, the licensed veterinarian stated that the infection could have been linked to the grooming service. We made multiple attempts to resolve this professionally, including sending formal written notices more than three months ago. Our last email, sent on August 12, 2025, received no response. Despite their public claims of valuing communication and their statement in a response to our Google review that we could reach them via email, they have shown no willingness to engage. We have reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau and the Veterinary Medical Association and are continuing to pursue appropriate consumer and animal welfare channels to ensure this case is properly documented. Our goal is not to disparage the business, but to share our honest experience. Their repeated responses have been disrespectful and have implied dishonesty on our part, which is unacceptable. We care deeply about our cats' well-being and expect only honesty, accountability, and respect. Based on our experience, we will never return to Pet Beloved. read more

My DLH cat was recently adopted and had matted fur in multiple areas, and had an upset tummy the day before due a food allergy so she had a major poopy butt. She's also quite scared of new people, and being handled by strangers, I can't even cut her nails by myself without the chance of getting hurt.
