They have continuously taken great care of my pup Toto. I have gone to them for over 3 years now. I KNOW he is a pain in the a** sometimes but the team has taken great care of him regardless. The staff does occasionally get restless with his barking, but that's mainly because he hates being alone. I work from home, so he's almost never alone. One thing I will suggest to any dog owner that has attachment issues and/barking issues, please consider giving them CBD/hemp oil to ease the stress on these groomers. I've been suggested trazodone, which I consider a pretty aggressive step, but it does get to a point where as an owner you need to be considerate of the people taking care of your dog. I am well aware my dog is not easy to take care of, but I hope this review reflects an honest appreciation for their effort and kindness to Toto. Toto is a Greenland Husky / Shepherd mix, and I get the complete package of Dog Grooming which includes deshed, bath, extra brushing, nail trim, and whatever else is listed on their page. Allyson (@callingallpawss) is detail-oriented, highly experienced, and just fantastic overall! She always has a smile on her face! She's been consistent with her grooming and my dog loves her. The store itself is also pretty cool. They have a self dog wash (by appt only), plenty of dog food and treat varieties, toys, dog and cat clothing, harnesses, pet bling for harnesses and more. We had the best experience at City Dogs! They trimmed both Kobe and Bella's nails, and honestly, it was amazing. Kobe is such a ham and usually refuses to let anyone near his paws--but somehow, they worked their magic! He let them trim his nails without any fuss at all, which is a miracle in itself. Location was right in the city which was great, after playing at the dog beach, however, parking ca be a pain. Thankfully I was able to get a spot right out front. The black gate at the entrance was a bit ghetto and not welcoming. So much product available for your fur babies. Self service was great. Tub was a bit high even for me at 5'7" . I wish customers had the ability to control the water temperature for their dogs at their own convenience. But the set up was great. $20 for a basic bath and everything was provided; shampoo, conditioner , ear cleaning , facial wash, towels and blow dryer. read more
