I called the vet upset and she then proceeded to tell me to put flour on it and it should stop rather than tying to explain how it happened and if there is something we can do to fix the issue , she then started to cuss at me and trying to make us look like bad people when we were just concerned as to why our dog was bleeding out of all 4 paws. The kennel attendant sent me a text and picture of Miss Kora during her boarding as a check in. Since I was a first time client, they asked if I wanted to walk her back into the kennel at drop off. While I completely trusted my sister's recommendation (she's got even higher standards for pet boarding than I do!), I took them up on the offer. The big dogs were very vocal, but they kept Kora to the center of the aisle and she walked right into her little kennel run. It was very clean - no dog smell, just the barking. Each dog gets 2-3 fleece blankets to make their run more comfortable. There is no group play here, which is a priority for me, so if you're looking for the Thunderdome, they don't have it. Wags is a paper based business. Reservations are by phone, and they ask for paper boarding agreements and paper copies of your vaccines. Easy enough, but make sure to print them off before you go. The office staff also made sure to double check regarding food and any needed medications. My pup is super low maintenance, so nothing doing for us. My sister's dog is quite high maintenance with special feeding, and they were happy with the attention that the staff paid to Miss Needy's lengthy list of requirements. I did have trouble with the phone lines - there is currently no voicemail at the kennel and they weren't really attentive to incoming calls. I was able to get through on the grooming line, but I would recommend getting a voicemail for the kennel and checking regularly - they asked for updates on arrival or pickup times, for example, but there was no way to provide that information. This was consistant through the week prior to and the day of drop off, so it wasn't a one time glitch. Other than that, we had good customer service, adn Kora seemed pretty comfortable with staying there. On my way out, I made another reservation for the weekend of my sister's wedding! The wall behind the check in desk is papered with pictures of their doggie clients and notes from their associated humans!

I was in desperate need and could not find boarding that would accept them. The staff and owner took them in and made sure their runs were prepared. My boys also do not like each other so they made sure they were separated. The staff and owner were very patient with both of them and treated them like their own. I will board all my dogs there again, because I trust them. They were knowledgeable about animals and they contacted me when there were concerns. I highly recommend this place and I am forever in gratitude for welcoming my dogs when I needed it the most.

Do not trust Susan Kaiser. We brought our dog who comes here specifically in to have his teeth…read morelooked at for a cleaning, approx 1 year ago and I asked to have his teeth cleaned. Dr Kaiser assured me his teeth were not even a "grade 1" yet, which means they would not clean them because they aren't dirty... I knew this didn't sound right, but unfortunately I decided to trust our vet, Susan Kaiser. After coming back less than 1 year later, AGAIN asking to have his teeth cleaned, they finally said they would clean them. Coming to find out he now needs 11 teeth pulled. After being told my previous visit was a "general exam" and they don't "look at the teeth too good" I instantly corrected them and showed them my appointment BOTH times were specifically to address the teeth, he was there for nothing else. They apologized, said it will be "told to upper management" or whatever that means? It's a small vet that works out of a converted residential house so I don't really know what upper management they have? This is obviously either gross negligence, or a money grab. I don't know which one is worse. I don't care about the money, I only care that now my dog has to have multiple teeth removed even after I've tried my hardest to clean them myself, and take him to the vet for cleanings (which they highly recommend on posters all over their office, unless you actually ask for it). Dr. Kaiser, what an embarrassment you are. You looked into my dogs mouth and I asked you repeatedly to clean them and you told me he was fine, don't worry about it. Then I come back less than a year later with another doctor, who told me he now needs 11 extractions after a cleaning. Do not bring your animals here. I can only imagine how much worse this negligence could have been if it was for a more serious issue. EDIT: to the owners responde: none of that is true. I asked to have the exam you referenced, and actually the second time I came back I demanded it, instead of listening to your dishonest vet, Dr. Susan Kaiser. The second vet I saw was in shock when I told her Dr. Kaiser didn't elect to do any follow up with the teeth from just an awake exam, after she did an awake exam herself. Just from your response alone it seems you're very well aware of this issue and seems like a practice you aim towards to push surgeries. Disappointing.
