The family was able to be together to send our precious girl off because we were able to coordinate it on a Sunday. No scary trip to the vet. Before Dr. Daiger came, we got Mila outside as a family. She soaked in some sunshine, was able to see some of the million bunnies in our neighborhood, and even spotted a neighborhood cat on it's front porch. She died warm from her short walk, with a belly full of bacon from breakfast and the treats that Dr. Daigler brought. She was calm and happy, and her poor broken body is no longer in pain. I called multiple times on Friday and Saturday to get an update on the status of my dog, often more than once per day, but received no response. The only communication I received was a text message on Sunday stating that my dog was ready for pickup. The message stated: "Pickup may be made weekdays 3 p.m.-6 p.m. or Sat/Sun before 3 p.m. or by appointment." Based on that information, I arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. The employee was already leaving but did return to assist us. Unfortunately, the pickup felt rushed, and I was not given the opportunity to look at or purchase an urn before leaving. Losing a pet is an incredibly difficult experience, and I would have appreciated more consistent communication and a less rushed pickup process during such an emotional time.

He was supposed to be my son's new fur baby. Whatever happened to this feline must have been really bad. After five months of love, attention, heartbreak and many, many, many bites and scratches I regretfully had to admit that this wasn't the right pet for my tender hearted son. When we took him back, not only did they compassionately console us.... We were hysterically crying.... But even after all of the time that we had him, they allowed him to choose another kitty. By then, kittens were born. We chose the most adorable, lively, gentle like fur ball ever! My son loves him so much! It is priceless to watch them grow up together. Precious! The other cat will be turned in to be a farm cat. I didn't know that they had a program allowing cats like this one to be a barn cat. She came to our home to pick him up, performed an examination, and shared her professional thoughts on what may have caused his sudden passing. She carefully wrapped him in a blanket before taking him for the water cremation, which helped bring us comfort during such a heartbreaking time. The entire process was quick, affordable, and handled with exceptional care. The water cremation was beautifully done. His remains were returned in a lovely silk pouch, and we received beautifully crafted paw prints for my husband, myself, and each of our children. We also received a small glass keepsake containing his name and a lock of his fur. As an added touch, there was a packet of wildflower seeds and a scented candle, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Last year they told me my dog had severe cancer and gave me two options: put her to sleep, or pay for an ultrasound. They prescribed cancer medication and had us wait two weeks for that ultrasound. Something felt wrong, so I pushed to get it done. The result: a bladder infection. Not cancer. We spent over $1,000 on visits, medication, and imaging for a misdiagnosis that nearly cost my dog her life. There was no apology for the two weeks of grief they put us through, no refund, just a shrug. Other vets I've spoken with since were genuinely shocked this was missed. If you care about your animal, go somewhere else.
