My dog is obsessed with this vet--it's literally her favorite place. She walks in, grabs a toy, and makes herself at home. After trying multiple vets and getting nowhere with recurring issues, this was the only place that actually ran the right tests and got us real answers. Doctor Scorteanu is my current vet and has been ever since she successfully diagnosed and treated my kitty Sophie from Bartonella. Excellent Vet!.. Took care of my Thunder(cat) . When you text her she answers immediate. And told us exactly what to do. Dr. Scorteanu also gave herbs to treat Clementine (cat) for gingivitis and it works. She and her staff are very caring. Thunder does not like the office, so Dr. Scorteanu comes out to our car to treat him! She takes in kittens/cats that are going to be killed at shelters treats them back to health And gets them adopted! Thunder & Clementine come from her adoption. We respect her very much! Pet Diagnostics - Romina Scorteanu  +1 (561) 842-1505 When our near 12 year old cat started sniffling, I wasn't alarmed at first. A week later he seemed to be "wet breathing," and his eyes runny. We brought him into our local vet. They gave nebulizer treatment, covinia and said he had Herpes. About 3 days later he seemed to get worse. We brought him back. More nebulizer, now appetite stimulant because my eater now was barely picking and he was taking a turn for the worse. Now I was alarmed. I did home steam, hand fed him everything we could find and while he was holding his own, I felt he was NOT getting better and starting to suffer. The third time when I mentioned to our vet that I felt he got worse after the last Convenia shot, the Dr. actually said "oh it can't hurt him." 2 days later he was gasping for air. Desperate, I contacted two cat rescuers that are incredible (cat whisperers!) and told them both-- I don't know where to turn. He's starting to really suffer. Within 5 min both had texted that their hands-down go-to "genius" was Dr. Romina Scorteanu of Pet Diagnostics in North Palm Beach. We live 1 HOUR and 15 min away. But desperate, I called 10 min later, and 10 min after that one of the kindest people called us back, listened to my terror and got us in the very next day. He was still getting worse. By the time my husband got him there he was GASPING FOR AIR. Dr. Scorteanu worked on him and did proper testing which our vet did not, and said he did not have HERPES, he was having a major allergic reaction to something and that the Convenia, that while adverse reactions were rare, was likely tanking him further. And that our vet also missed a very serious heart murmur. We brought a cat that was in critical shape and by the next night got back our boy. Breathing normally AND EATING. She and her staff kept me home with a sick dog in the loop every step of the way. It was remarkable really, the level of care and concern was off the charts, But nothing compares to her innate gift. The rescuers were right! She's not just brilliant, competent and capable but she's compassionate, caring and shows a level of concern that we haven't seen in 25 YEARS & caring for over 50? adopted rescues. Sometimes you get competence, sometimes you get kindness-- rarely do you get the top of the line of both in one doctor, one clinic and one staff. And when you are so terrified, and desperate and you KNOW your fur baby is in real trouble, you will do anything. And manI now understand why people will drive from GEORGIA or other state HOURS to see this doctor. And we brought another cat-- treated TWO YEARS WITH IBD and also getting worse. ONE VISIT - and she determined it's not IBD--it's his gallbladder. I was elated to adopt my new kitten from Pet Diagnostics. Even though the adoption fee was twice what other shelters charge, I figured he'd been well taken care of. I was also impressed with the vet's policy that three months of office visits would be included. Unfortunately, my little guy had multiple issues, including an undiagnosed fungal infection, i.e. ringworm. The office frequently dismissed my concerns and observations. They canceled an appointment I made. I finally gave up and took him to my regular vet where he received proper care. My recommendation is to go to a reputable shelter for adoption instead. read more
