After twenty-plus years and four pets, I am going somewhere else. It's not the doctors, they are excellent. It's not the prices; premium prices are expected in Juno Beach. (the emergency clinic is less expensive). It's the fact that they cannot answer the phone. Hire someone!! Take a message!! The last 5-6 times I have tried to make an appointment, there is a new greeting: can I put you on hold, or is this a medical emergency? My dog is uncomfortable, but I would not call it an emergency, so I answer honestly. Then proceed to hold 5-10 minutes before hanging up. On my third try this morning, Stephanie answered after a 7-minute hold. I had tried twice before this morning. When I voice my frustration, she does not explain or apologize, she snaps and yells at me. Wow Really? read more

I took my cat here in her final days at the recommendation of a family member. A lot of the front desk staff and vet techs were extremely caring but the doctor was not. He recommended thousands of dollars in tests and treatments which I could not afford and which would not have helped in this case. I had to quickly make a decision to say goodbye and the experience was awful. I have had to say goodbye to pets in the past and veterinary offices have been so caring and compassionate but not here. We were just brought into a normal exam room and they took my pet out of the room to get the necessary medical things inserted and they were gone forever. I was extremely anxious and kept asking at the front desk what was wrong since no one ever bothered to update us. Then suddenly the vet rushed in with my cat in a towel, sedated to the point of basically being gone already and looking terrible. I did not get a proper goodbye and she deserved so much better. Terrible, traumatic experience and I will never subject myself or another pet to this subpar level of care. I feel because we didn't spend the money they expected we were treated as lesser and that is how you can really tell that they love money, not animals. read more

We arrived in the area a few weeks before COVID so we hadn't had a chance to establish a vet relationship. Dr Stephan and Juno Beach Animal Hospital came highly recommended. We set up an appointment for them to meet Marco. Great process. You call when you arrive, they come get your baby and bring him out when complete. Contactless payment and receipts provided via email. Marco seemed to like it there lol. He's a german shepherd, so I'm sure he would have carried on if we went in with him. He's very dramatic! We did have a stomach issue a few weeks ago. We were able to get him on an antibiotic quickly. Dr Stephan followed up with test results promptly with emails and answered any questions we have quite quickly. I've been taking my dog here for almost four years, and I also took my precious dog there for several years. The staff here is great. They really care about animals and always treat my dogs well. They handled the end-of-life stuff for my previous dog, and made it as painless as possible. The staff put us in a special room and wrapped her up in a blanket before giving her the injection. Breah died quietly in my arms with me telling her I loved her, and she didn't suffer. The people were so nice and sympathetic. They even sent flowers to me afterwards! Genuinely compassionate people who sent a bill so that I wouldn't have to stand there fishing for my credit card while I wept for my lost furball. I noticed with my last dog that some of the staff are particularly good with big dogs (she was a 120-pound bear), which is frequently rare in my experience. My current dog is much smaller (25 pounds) and different staff members fuss over her. Now I have to go cry over my late Breah because this reminded me of my special girl. read more

Absolutely amazing first ever visit. Brought both our dogs at the recommendation of a friend and couldn't be more pleased. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, and Dr. Knobloch was great! Very informative and spent time with each pup. I was taken how relaxed both dogs were! They are moving to a new facility and we are going with them. If your vet charges too much or the front desk people aren't great, there are nice offices out there! This is one of them. read more

I had a great experience here last week. I called at 2 pm on a Friday, and they were able to give me a 4:30 pm appointment! They identified what was going on with our dog quickly, and had the appropriate medicine on site. Our dog has been doing great since then! read more

My dog hurt his leg/foot while playing. The dog has been going to jBAH for a couple years. I took the dog in, thinking the animal hospital would be able to help him. But they could not have cared less. The guy said there was no doctor in, then said there was a doctor in, but he was busy. He told me to find some place else. Apparently this is not an animal hospital, just a veterinarian office. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

On Wednesday 6/6/18 around 11 am my two Jack Russell dogs came in contact with a Marine Toad (Bull Frog/Bufo marinus - extremely toxic). I quickly grabbed the garden hose and washed out their mouths immediately. Due to the nature of the emergency, I knew I had to act quickly to save the lives of my dogs. I rushed them to the nearest hospital in fear that I would not make it to our regular veterinarian. I arrived at the Juno Beach Animal Hospital clearly shaken, nervous, and stressed with both dogs who still had foam in their mouths. Once I arrived, the receptionist asked if this was my first visit to which I replied "Yes." She asked me to wait while she checked with someone else in the back. She returned to tell me they could not help me, and I would have to go somewhere else! I was so shocked, how could they turn me away with this type of emergency. Fortunately, I was able to make it to our regular Veterinarian who realized the gravity of the situation and took care of them immediately. Dr. Stephan and his staff are the best! We have an English bulldog and a French bulldog and everyone treats them as if they were their own dogs. I called at 4:15 in the afternoon and asked Evelyn for the earliest possible appointment that our dog, Bogey, could be seen by the Dr. She got is in at 5:30 the same day. David was polite, attentive and showed genuine concern regarding Bogey's symptoms. Dr. Stephan was an absolute pleasure to meet and very thorough in examining Bogey. The facility was clean and we will be using JBAH for any future medical issues Bogey requires care for. read more

I recently had to put down my 16 1/2 year old Lhasa Apso, who had been treated here for at least the last 6 years. We opted for euthanasia in our home, as our dog (like most) didn't love the vet's office. They return the remains to your vet's office, and today I received a call from Ashley that my pet's remains had arrived. She was cold as ice!! No condolences offered for a dog she know and they had treated for a long time. Her only query was to ask if "I had paid for the cremation." (I had). When I arrived, she went to the back to get the ashes, handed them to me, and had not a word to offer. When we get another dog, I will not return here. They only care about money since they took on the third vet a few years back. Such a shame!! read more

Juno Beach Animal Hospital prescribed two drugs for my dog. The manufacture of one of these drugs warned against the use of their drug while using the other. My dog developed pancreatitis, a known side effect of combining these drugs. My dog died as a result. Dr. Stephan prescribed the second drug without even making a note in my dogs file. When his partner my dog's primary care doctor looked at the records to help when my dog got sick, there was nothing there for her to know what was going on. To say the least, I will never go back and warn everyone I know, this hospital is not the place to go. read more

I saw that there was another review posted and it was negative and I felt compelled to review this vet hospital. These doctors save my dogs life, I will never see another veterinarian with my dog because I trust them so much. My dog was literally knocking on deaths door because he had an obstruction in his intestines and they did literally everything in their power to make sure that he lived. I am super grateful to the doctors at this animal hospital. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! This vet is extremely rude, inconsiderate, uncaring, everything a loving pet owner would NOT want. They threaten you and when you comply but request another option, they are rude and do not care what you have to say. As a pet owner I am sadden to say I will never return to this vet because they do not deserve business from anyone due to their attitudes towards a pet and their owner. They say they will do something and that "they care," but when asked to do something they retract whatever was previously said by them. Please reconsider taking your pet here, I would never want anyone to go through what I have went through in only two weeks. NO STARS! read more
