Brina out for a swim after a quick visit with Dr. Vinoski.

My senior dog Sabrina went in for flea medication and Dr. Vinoski was so thorough, quick, straight foward, and honest. He could have had 1 million tests ran since she is 14 YO. But he just treated what we came in for and referred us to a specialist for an eye issue. The receptionists were very cheerful. Being treated with so much delight was much needed because I came in already having flash backs from my last vet experience which was with a different doctor. My previous vet experience was one that ended with my ferret not surviving a spider bite which was not the previous vet's fault but going to the vet reminds me of when that happened. (Scruffles the ferret was only 8 months old so it was devastating). Overall I have to say I am grateful that they got me in and out and everyone was so energetic. I am also grateful that I left not feeling ripped off.

This is precious he's 11 months old

I enjoyed meeting him through a friend named Herb Baum at furry friends. Herb said he was excellent and I went to see him there he left I didn't know where he was now I see he has his own practice very happy with him he's a great guy very conservative not a rip off wants to do what's best for you and your dog I wouldn't trust this dog with just any vet

Don't always assume who you are talking too is not a dr like yourself while you are harassing them. So I left there and found this vet after days of searching. They had decent reviews and the receptionist Sue was polite and answered all my questions over the phone assuring me the vet had a great following all the way from Fort Lauderdale. Again very hard to find a vet who's receptionist is not rude and is educated on the business she is working at. We have brought our dog several times to this location in the last month for a first time patient, a follow up, a neuter and have boarded him for two nights. Each time they have been more than welcoming. We had dr buzetti care for our puppy Pomeranian who was really helpful and did a great job treating him. The rest of the vet techs were very professional and had great customer service skills especially Rachel who took extra care to our needs and our Pom. The facility is clean, maintained well and over all a great place to bring your pet! I highly recommend this location!

We had to make a really tough decision, but they gave us information, time to process and NEVER put pressure on us. Opened our mail yesterday and to our surprise was a card with a HANDWRITTEN message from everyone there that day. That touched my heart and reinforced my feeling that our little guy's last vet visit he was surrounded by people who actually cared about animals. We NEVER felt pressured, uninformed or like we were just another appointment. If you need emergency care for your pet, go to them. They are honest, efficient and most importantly CARING in your moment of panic.

What I will tell you in short is that they will act overly concerned, will not have any sense of urgency, will do everything they can do to drag it out so your dog stays there. They will also try to convince you to leave your dog there for "observation" all while the clock is ticking and money is racking up. They also took our dog to the back and said she was resting while they watched her, yet when they brought her back to me two hours later, she reeked of pee. She does not ever pee in the house unless she is outside. Would I ever go here ever again, never ever would. There are other quality emergency vets that will take you as a priority, treat you with compassion, and not keep you there forever while the clock ticks and the money goes up. Find another emergency vet to go to.

I've seen doctors put on rubber gloves before to hold him down because he goes ballistic. I thought this was normal as it was the same over the years with different vets. After my previous vet hired an assistant who didn't communicate very well with me, I decided to try a new vet... with hopes of finding a better fit for my boy, too. Even though this was twice the distance from my house, the reviews were promising so I gave it a shot. I took him here for the first time today and holy heck... I was in tears thanking her for her way with him at the end. I had never seen him be so receiving with a veterinarian before! I felt so at ease not having to watch him scream and cry. My heart is full and I am so deeply grateful for this staff and how they care for the animals they treat!

On March 27, 2026, I brought my Westie, Leo, to Chasewood Animal Hospital. One of the main reasons…read moreI chose this hospital was because their website describes Dr. Maria Lowry as practicing both conventional and traditional/holistic treatments. I was desperately looking for a more holistic and integrative approach to help Leo, who had been struggling with severe allergies and constant paw licking. During Leo's first evaluation, Dr. Lowry told me, "Leo is a mess, and I wish I could give you a magic holistic pill to help him, but this is not the case." At the time, I was desperate to help Leo and trusted that her recommendations might be the right path. After extensive and expensive testing, including bloodwork and allergy testing, Leo was placed on prednisone, Sporimune (cyclosporine), and a strict Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein diet. Unfortunately, Leo did not do well with this treatment plan. He gained considerable weight on the new diet, and while taking the medications, he became extremely lethargic and weak. He had very little desire to walk or participate in his normal activities. Most concerning to me was that despite all of this, he continued licking his paws desperately. Seeing such an active little dog become so unlike himself was heartbreaking and alarming. I eventually felt I needed to seek another opinion urgently and consulted holistic veterinarian Dr. Michael Dym. His approach was very different. He changed Leo to a completely raw diet and focused on addressing his allergies from both the inside and outside, including supporting and rehabilitating his digestive system. Under this different approach, I saw a noticeable improvement in Leo's overall condition. Another disappointing part of my experience with Chasewood occurred when I asked whether I could return unopened medications and expensive unopened bags of prescription food that Leo would no longer be using. I was told they could not accept them as returns. When I then asked whether they would accept those same unopened items as a donation, I was told they would gladly take them. I also found my interactions with the front desk unpleasant. On several occasions, it took considerable effort and repeated follow-ups to receive Leo's evaluation and medical information by email. I spent a significant amount of money on consultations, testing, medications, and prescription food, but unfortunately, our experience and the results were not what I had hoped for. I am very grateful that I sought another opinion when I did and that Leo subsequently improved. I am not writing this review out of anger or retaliation. I am sharing our experience because I sincerely believe other pet parents deserve to hear different experiences when making decisions about their animals' care. Every animal is different, and another family may have a completely different experience. I can only speak honestly about what happened with Leo. If you are specifically seeking holistic or integrative veterinary care, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about what "holistic" means in the treatment approach being recommended and to consider seeking a second opinion if your pet is not responding well. Our pets cannot speak for themselves. As their caregivers, we have to pay close attention to what their bodies and behavior are telling us and advocate for them when something does not feel right.

I called to make an appointment for my dog to have x-rays because he was limping. The man at the receptionist desk gave me a 330 appointment. When I got there, they told me it was too late in the day to give my pup x-rays, because they require him taking a sedative the night before, and two hours prior prior to bringing him in the next day. Even after all those meds, they would still need to medicate him for x-rays. So, what they did, was give my pup a full examination, which he did not need. He did not need it because we were in there two weeks prior discussing his limp. Then they told me that it was too late in the day for x-rays. But they were not shy about charging me $195 for the office visit, and another $85 for medication's which he did not need. They said he needed two pills to calm him the night before as well as two pills to calm him two hours before we were to bring him the next day. So, why did they give me 24 pills, and charge me $68 for the pills? Every time we went in there it seemed they tried to sell us one thing or another. They must be accustomed to the residence of Jupiter Island, who have no problem, coughing up whatever bill they give them. I don't feel that they had my pups best interest in mind. This was not the first time, this has happened many times since Dr. Joi left. We said adios to them, and we will never look back. Our puppy is everything to us, but it wasn't so for them.

My darling baby escaped Sunday and came back unable to walk (his hip was dislocated). I brought him in to see the Dr the next day. Everything was great, I was glad they could see him and trusted they would take care of Asher. Later that day, I was told that they had been unsuccessful putting his hip in place, but had updated his shots and given him a flea bath and treated him for fleas. I went to pick him up, saddened because I knew I would need to take him to a specialist for surgery if there was to be hope of him walking again. I got there, paid my $1100 bill upfront and was then taken to the room where I waited for the Dr. I had spoken to the Dr twice during the day, getting updates on cost and how Asher was doing, so I wasn't surprised that the Dr failed twice in relocating the hip. As he was exiting to get Asher, he told me there had been an incident and Asher was cut while removing the bandages, after the second failed attempt at hip relocation. He brought Asher into the room, pulled my baby out of his cage. I was overcome by grief at the sight of my baby's leg. Asher, who had been at the office all day was now far worse off than when I brought him in. I asked what could be done to make it better he said he didn't "do it on purpose" and he was "sorry." He then kept repeating how he "followed protocol" and blamed my cat's hair. I continued to ask what I should do and he interrupted me and asked "do you want to hear about the medication or not." It was like he didn't really care. No patient plan was given, so I didn't even know how to take care of the new wound. I walked out with only the $1100 receipt and the the medicine in ziplock bags. The next day I had a couple more questions about the accident, during which the Dr explained he had actually cut a chunk of Asher's skin and fur out. He also told me that his "father was an orthopedic surgeon" and so he knew "things like this happen all the time." I am sorry, I expect more from a Dr and if I would have known my Dr accepts accidents as "things that happen all the time" I never would have gone there in the first place. I hope this saves another baby from an accident that scars them in the future. Good luck!

Although I've never been here, service alone from a phone call to request medical records for a facility I worked at is down the drain. But Yknow, Florida stuff. Definitely will be writing this for Google as well. Also as a side note it was just comical that I posted this review and the receptionist complained so much about my "unfair" review hope you enjoyed your 3 years of 3.8 stars because this is well deserved 1 star for service alone and honestly reading the reviews, animal hospital is a big yikes.
