Took three hours for both and they look so beautiful they were so happy . The girls there took extreme care and the price was perfect. In reality I feel the pups really didn't want to leave. They listened to how we get the babies groomed and did it to the letter. I feel and so do the pups that's there new spa. Which is fine but it would make more sense to take the pet to the back assess the situation and then make that determination so that the customer & groomer are on the same page. I bring my pet in for this 3rd time and this time I would like a full service, and purposely changed the groomer for a better interaction. I'm immediately met with a young lady, who didn't seem very interested and almost annoyed that my pet was overly excited in the lobby. She immediately tells me she'll wait until she calms down and let me know if she can be done. Okay. I call shortly after I left because it was the 3rd time I've had a bad first impression with a groomer, and it's understood they may be tired and had a long day but at 12pm in the afternoon customer service and a welcome greeting could go along way. Especially since the customer behind me with the same dog, didn't have the same conversation with the groomer who welcomed her. I spoke to the receptionist/manager not sure what he was and explained the situation and apologized after I voiced my concerns to him about 2 separate groomers, not making me feel welcome or leading a conversation with "well if she's matted" before even taking her back to get a proper look at her. I was told they would let me know if they could help me and I agreed, a hour and half goes by and I hear nothing so I'm assuming all is well until the male calls me and tells me all they could do is the bath because she has mats which is perfectly fine I'll take her elsewhere but to give a bath for 65 dollars without a sanitary trim, pads or anything?? And expect full payment and never asked me first. Then the groomer was rude, argumentative, and explained it was alot going on at the time of the hand off so she wasn't trying to be rude. Yet she was. So I will not be back, as a paying customer like everyone else I expect my puppy and I to be treated like our business matters. The receptionist was nice and let me leave without having to pay 65 dollars for a bath that's the only thing I appreciated. Damage was done I would never come back and I live 5 minutes from the salon. As I've read the owner seems to have a lot of feedback on the comments here, I would recommend a course in customer service for employees. A smile goes a long way.

As first-time puppy owners, I was nervous about leaving him with people we didn't know, but the entire staff was so warm and welcoming--it immediately put me at ease. Sue did an absolutely amazing job with Luka! She even went the extra mile by sending us photos during his grooming to show how well he was doing, which meant so much to us. The care and attention they showed made this experience wonderful, and I can confidently say this will be Luka's groomer for life! We're obsessed with how great he looks and how kind everyone was. She was super nice from the minute we got there and took great care of our very scared little dogs. One was a puppy so it was her first grooming appointment. They were done in about 3 hours and the dogs look fantastic! Prices were equivalent to all area pet groomers. Well, I finally decided to give them a try and so I booked an appointment for one of my own for a simple bath and brush (no matts). Not only did they call to reschedule me *the day prior* but when I called to confirm my new reschedule, I was given a price increase over the phone as well! $40 for bathing a 6 pound dog that needs absolutely no hair or nail trim? $40 just to bathe and brush a dog with no matts? Lmao. Okay Not only was the woman I spoke to on the phone condescending and did not care at all about my concerns - but their prices are a little ridiculous and flaky. Why was I told it would be $25-$30 when I originally booked the appointment and then $40 when I called to confirm the reschedule? Completely unprofessional - get your prices together and maybe try to fake that you actually care about people that want to spend their money here. To boot, I don't even know why my mom comes here for her dogs. Whenever she gets her dog bathed and cut, he looks horrible. He is never properly cut for his breed and it's always a sloppy job. (sorry mom but you've even said it yourself!) Way to totally turn down a first time client that could have been regular. Grossly unprofessional. They're so patient with him. And the best part- they don't cage your dog (as long as your dog is good with other dogs). They let the dogs roam free and play with other dogs so they're not suffering in a cage while they're waiting to be groomed. No other place I've taken him to does this. They're so kind to me and my dog and like I said my dog is wild so that says a lot. The pic I'm attaching is of him just after his hair cut- I purposely asked for it all one length and very short and they gave me exactly what I wanted. Love this place!

However, when I arrived, he had a full haircut, and the next day I noticed blood under his chin. I am extremely upset because they should have been honest and upfront with me. Instead, I had to call the store owner, who was dismissive and unapologetic. This lack of concern and transparency is unacceptable. I do not recommend this groomer and will not be returning.

She also grooms my parents dog, who absolutely loves her. She always comes back smelling so fresh and clean and with a bandanna that matches the season. When I have the time and forethought to call for an appointment for my little dog, she also goes there. She's normally terrified of both being groomed and strangers, but she willingly goes to Jen. Prices are extremely reasonable especially compared to where I'm coming from in the city. It's just sad I have to take an hour trip out there to do it.

He tried to move but he rolled over and collapsed. I called them explained what happened. They know that I'm handicapped and I couldn't lift him. One of their wonderful staff came over and picked him. Their very caring Vet did a thorough exam. Ruling out everything, Pepper had a stroke. There was nothing we could do for him. Being in pain, unable to move, I made the hard decision to put him to sleep. I had Pepper for 12 years, I will miss him every day. They were very transparent about the expected price of a surgery and we knew what to expect. Dr. Carlson's "bedside" manner, if you would call it, was so reassuring and informative as someone who likes to know everything before making a decision. You could tell she really cared about the action plan during this emergency surgery and the well being of our dog and also how we were handling it. She made me feel the most educated and confident to make the right decisions for our dog. Highly recommend coming here for the highest standard of care, but also the best people.
