It took many months to find a place that would at least try to cut her nails. K-9 couture said sure we can try! When I tell you, they did an amazing job, they did an amazing job!!! Saying that also states that "I know better"…read more My dogs are all small bath dogs and as much as I love huskys I swore I would never own one because of the hard work it entails keeping that coat up. Well fate had it that I fell in love with the owner of a Wooly Husky. I had to stop grooming myself due to severe asthma that sent me to the er multiple times. It was difficult because I absolutely loved grooming. Hard work but rewarding. Still I took my dog to a self serve dog wash but the dryers can barely blow out a candle let alone a hairy husky. I had a friend of mine groom her in the fall and between October and yesterday her coat got out of control. So tail tucked between my legs I brought her into Blooming Tails. These girls are real and I could tell that helping my dog feel more comfortable was important to them. She's a fire cracker for brushing her back side yet they carried on. When I picked her up she looked like a new dog and I felt so much better knowing she can be more comfortable in this summer heat. I scheduled an appointment that was booked over a month out but one early morning, the owner texted me saying they had an opening that morning so I was able to get my dog in to get a cut that day. My dog gets nippy during bath time so I warned them and they requested I bring a muzzle. The muzzle I got wasn't the right fit so they ended up using one of theirs. I'm so glad to have found a place that does a good job and most of all accepts my dog. The owner said that they're used to dealing with the difficult ones. I highly recommend this dog spa.

After 3 hours I called to see if my dogs were ready to be picked up. I was told another hour. I…read morehave two St. Bernards and all they need is a wash, dry, nails, and trim. I decided enough was enough and just went and got them. The dog they said they finished chest was still dirty and she was still wet. After 3 hours my other dog just had a bath. When I call to pay the outrageous bill she tells me she doesn't take credit card. Something that should have been told to me when I booked the appointment. This isn't the first time they have been groomed so I know a time frame for them and rates. The groomer was was off on both.

My dog, a Bouvier, was groomed by Karina at The Foxy Hound. Upon returning home, she drank some…read morefresh water and the bowl had dirty water in it AFTER her drink. Her beard was not cleaned properly. Then noticed her "dive-bombing" her female area and looked to see why. Her tummy was inflamed looking and there was an open cut on her vulva. Her ears were also burned. Took her to vet who prescribed antibiotics, antifungal, pain meds and a topical cream which cost $300.00. I emailed Karina to find out why this happened. Basically, her response was total denial. This did happen another time as well. After a two week course of meds, we saw the vet for a progress check up. He continued same treatment for another two weeks. Another $200.00.Now it makes sense to me why my dog did not want to get out of the car the last several times we went to the vets office. She did not want to get hurt again. The haircut she got did not look at all like a Bouvier's style. It's pretty specific. So, if you choose to go there for grooming please check your dog before leaving to make sure they aren't hurt, cut or burned anywhere. Needless to say, I will not be returning for a groom with her.
