This individual Mrs. Lamarr visited my workplace and was extremely rude, aggressive, and demanding about issues that were completely outside of my control. Despite her behavior, I remained professional and even went out of my way to help her, because I understand what it's like to go through things, and I really wanted to help, including letting her borrow my personal phone charger. Unfortunately, her conduct, including being extremely rude to me, trashing me in front of guests, filing a false unfounded police report on me, and just her being unnecessarily nasty led to me being unjustly terminated from my job right before the holidays. He refused to get into the SUV and his doctor recommended trying a mobile vet. Michael responded right away and we were able to schedule a date and time. I have an older dog who is very difficult to move. Because of this I was struggling to get her to the vet to get what she needs to be comfortable. This service was top notch. Dr. Dani is smart, kind, not pushy, will listen to what your goals with your pet are, and is supportive. She didn't in any way judge me for being behind in care because of my dogs lack of mobility issues. Also, the care we received has improved my dogs mobility and quality of life. Mobile vets is a novel idea but I was always worried about cost. I chose pet fixer out of a hat basically and after our service I will never go to a stationary vet or another mobile vet service besides pet fixer. Not only did she come on time she was extremely courtious. I have to small children so I got a neighbor to watch my kids as I was unsure how involved I'd have to be. She showed up with a vet tech and the most I had to lift my finger was to find our cats and hand them to her. She took them outside and provided the service without my help. Awesome! As the other reviewer mentioned the total cost was only $30 more than if I went to a stationary vet. That is well worth it to me since I'd either have to get a baby sitter for my kids or lug both them and the two cats to a vets office. I can't remember the vets name as I don't have her business card but she is the only vet and owner of pet fixer. She has an answering service so it seems like its a bigger company than it is. Yesterday my dog woke up with a hurt paw, she wouldn't walk on it. We immediately went to the emergency vet. After waiting almost 2 hours in the parking lot, she couldn't wait anymore so we left. I called Dr. Dani, left a message on her voicemail and received a callback quickly. I made a virtual medicine appointment on her website (I didn't realize she offered these, but y'all use these!) The doctor logged into my Skype appointment right at 2:00, listened to my worries then asked to see my dog's paws. I sat on the ground with my laptop, and showed her. She evaluated both paws and saw my grumpy girl was mad and in pain. She immediately recognized the infection, suggested pain medicine in a short course and antibiotics. My prescriptions were called into my local pharmacy and in less than two hours my baby was feeling better! The process was so easy, she cared about my concerns and wanted to see my baby instead of just talk to me which I wasn't expecting. I highly recommend the virtual visit in a situation like this! Dr. Dani (Danielle) came by to inspect a growth on our cat's back. It was a very large abscess from a bite wound that the Dr. ended up having to drain. She performed an exam, administered fluids, antibiotics, as well as drew blood to ensure there were no underlying issues causing the abscess. My cat felt immediately better and was back to himself within 24-48 hours. She called me every day for 3 days immediately following her visit (yes, even on the weekend and her day off!) to ensure that my cat was doing okay. The price I quoted above also included the purchase of some nail trimmers for our dog, antibiotics for the sick cat, plus some ear cleaner for all our pets. I think her prices are very reasonable. We also order our dog's meds through her, and she tries to find us the best deal possible via her vendors. We have used Dr. Dani's services for about three years and absolutely could not be happier. We have three indoor cats and a small dog, plus an outdoor cat that lives on the porch. The relief of NOT having to crate all the animals and haul them to the vet provides more piece of mind that I can relay. I remember being surprised by how thoroughly equipped her RV was the first time we met. Her rolling vet office allows her to perform surgeries, xrays...most anything you can have done at a regular vet office for 'routine issues.' Dr. Dani is caring, thorough and knowledgeable. She speaks to you honestly and won't recommend a procedure unless she feels it is truly necessary - she possesses integrity! She takes time to answer all my questions (and I always have a lot!) . In fact, she genuinely wants me to understand what is happening to my animals/why it is happening, etc. She wants to educate you as a pet owner versus just 'treat' your pet and get you out the door. I have never spent as much time actually talking to a vet at a traditional vet office (i.e. usually they are in the room for 5-10 minutes or don't allow you to be present when they are examining the animal). All cat parents know the hassle of loading their babies into carriers and schlepping them to the vet. Most kitties are so traumatized by the car ride alone that they scream, cry, lose clumps of fur and maybe even pee or defecate from the terror. Then there's the waiting room in the vet's office, where even if you keep their carriers covered they are subject to those odd smells, barks and cries from the other animals in the examination rooms. Then you have that distressing ride home all over again after whatever procedure or surgery the cats are subjected to, and then they're in shock for several days or a week afterward, hiding under the furniture and wondering why their mommy took them to those terrible people who hurt them... It's enough to make you swear off the vets' office unless it's a dire emergency! I neglected my two cats' shots and dental exams for a year because of this. When I saw the Yelp reviews for Pet-Fixer Mobile Veterinary Service, I immediately made an appointment. I did not know what to expect from a mobile vet but assumed I would have to give up some professionalism or maybe settle for a less knowledgeable vet in order to gain the convenience of a house call. But hey! It was better than having no medical care at all for my kitties... Well, I could not have been more wrong! Dr LaMarr (or Dr Dani, as she refers to herself) is the best of the best. Not only is she a seasoned pro, she's the most intelligent, practical, well-informed vet I've ever encountered in decades of being a mom to dozens of fur kids! After meeting her and observing her with my 2 cats, I brought my puppy to her also, whom I had intended to keep with my original veterinarian because the vet office experience was not as traumatic for her. But no, I want all my animals to have the best veterinarian, and that is Dr Dani. My puppy was born with a slight abnormality that was misdiagnosed by several other vets, one vet even giving antibiotics for this! Dr Dani took one look at her and told me the condition would probably right itself without any action on my part and she was right! It blows my mind, but she trimmed my animals nails while she was here too. She did it very quickly and effortlessly, without my asking, simply because it needed to be done. My traditional vets' office told me I had to make an appointment with their groomer for nail trimmings. The traditional vet had also told me that one of my cats needed his teeth cleaned, which would require general anesthesia. I relayed this to Dr Dani, and after she was able to scrape the small bit of tarter from his teeth very easily, right there on the spot, he no longer needed that teeth cleaning! She is very gentle, so good with shots that my animals hardly notice at all. This is a real change from the soreness experienced for a week by my puppy after her first round of vaccinations done at the traditional vets' office. She makes herself very accessible by phone or text, anytime you have questions or concerns. Dr Dani does surgeries too, and I intend on having her spay my puppy when the time comes. I hesitated a bit in writing this review. I don't want her to become so popular that I have a problem getting an appointment with her. However, she seems very fair and would probably limit her patient load to a number she could care for thoroughly and effectively. A non-traumatic vet visit!! It was a wonderful experience from the beginning! My "little" Sophie instantly warmed to Dr. Dani and tolerated a saline nasal wash and 2 shots, and only got irritated at having her "weapons of furniture destruction" trimmed. Dr. Dani managed the situation with a mask which reduced Sophie's anxiety, without the need for meds. Her kind manner and confidence handling Sophie made me feel comfortable as well. She and her Vet. Assistant worked seamlessly to provide care while making sure that they were safe from Sophie's efforts to stop the claw clipping process. Dr. Dani clearly communicated care instructions and suggestions to eliminate future recurrences. I was also impressed that she worked me in on short notice and after seeing 15 patients, met with another client who had a sick kitty. This was on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, yet she greeted Sophie and me as enthusiastically as if I was the first appointment of the day! Dr.Dani is no doubt gifted with animals. I called her due to an 85 pound American Bulldog rescue. Due to his life before his rescue he has very high anxiety. Even vets that claim they worked with large dogs would not see him. He would not allow you to touch his legs (some arse had hog tied and hung him upside down from what we knew). Other than that Tater Salad is an absolute sweetheart. But no one gave him a chance. Beyond the anxiety and nails becoming overgrown, he had a horrible growth on his shoulder. Well, Dr.Doolittle..I mean Dr.Dani seemed to have an instant connection with Tater. She and her amazing tech was able to trim his nails with out sedation. No problems at all. And even discovered the trick behind doing it. She also performed a surgery to remove the growth. In between visits and beyond she has called to check on Tater. True compassion shining through with every call. She is financially conscious and sure to go over everything with you and not do any unnecessary costly procedures. I assumed Vet house calls would be very expensive, but Pet Fixer's minimum for a visit was only $30 more than our regular dr, and WAY easier to use to resolve health issues for our cat who freaks out about carriers, travel and such. To take my cat into a vet office, the anxiety issue for the cat ends up costing me dearly before she can even be treated. Pet-Fixer changed all that! Dr Danielle LaMar was also very easy to work with and understood my financial limitations and offered the best bang-for-your buck options to help our cat in need. She was obviously very educated, experienced and all of the technical sides you want in a vet, but she showed that she really does care about both you as the owner and the pet as well. Dr. Dani is amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. I have 2 pitbull/American Bulldogs over 10 years old and my fur babies are my world. I am very particular about my pets' care. In 43 years I have never been without a pet and have been a patient at many of the vets in the metro area and have not been impressed to say the least. Dr. Dr. Dani has gone above and beyond to take care of my babies. She traveled outside of her service area to care for my pets and performed surgery in her Mobile Vet. Her van is beautiful well equipped and sterile. It was just like being in an real vet exam room. She was also able to diagnose and solve an eye problem my dog was having when no other vet could come up with the correct diagnosis. Dr. Danni (Danielle Lamarr) is the greatest! My 16 year old male cat Limbo was slowly dieing from a malignant tumor on his neck. He declined from 14 lbs to 9 lbs before we decided we had to do something. We were afraid to have it removed bacause of his age, and did not want it done in a foreign environment. Dr. Danni used the least amount of sedative possible and expertly removed the tumor of his scent gland directly above his jugular vein. It was tricky business and resulted in a 4 inch incision with 8 stitches. She did the surgery right in our driveway and Limbo woke up on his usual cat bed, with a snazzy Elizabethan collar around his neck complete with jaunty bow tie. He has fully recovered and we are eternally grateful that Dr. Danni is so skilled and the operation and recovery went so well. Recovering at home was important for old man Limbo. I started using Dr.Lamarr when I got my first little baby Lyla. I was blown away by how caring she is about animals as well as her knowledge of everything I needed to know about caring for my first dog. I just had Dr Dani and Denny with their mobile vet clinic take care of my 2 cats needs this weekend. She had been recommended by a pet advocate I respect, so I thought I'd try her services, and I have to tell you, I'm so happy I did! Dr Dani and her assistant are outstanding. Dr Dani had a wonderful manner with my two cats who are pretty scared and shy with new people. She gently scooped them up in my house and very quickly and efficiently checked them out, gave them vaccines, tartar removal, nail clipping, drew blood for testing and more super quickly (which is key!). My cats were popped back into our house and frankly, they adjusted right back to their daily routines. Not near the stress of a vet visit in the past, and so much less stress for me!
