I genuinely hate leaving negative reviews, but I would not trust this company with my pets again…read more Before booking, I was given a written, itemized quote stating that overnight care was $75/night and each 35-45 minute daytime drop-in was $35. For our September 1-3 trip, (which we are still on) I was specifically quoted: 2 overnights + 4 daytime drop-ins = $290 total. I booked based on that quote and with the understanding that my four dogs would receive two 35-45 minute daytime visits in addition to overnight care. Unfortunately, what I paid for and what my dogs actually received were two very different things. On September 1, my smart-lock records show the sitter arriving at 10:02 AM and leaving at 10:18 AM... approximately 16 minutes. The afternoon visit was 1:53 PM to 2:06 PM -- approximately 13 minutes. On September 2, the visit that was supposed to occur around 10 AM did not begin until 11:17 AM and ended at 11:24 AM -- approximately SEVEN minutes. These were not 35-45 minute visits that ran a few minutes short. One wasn't even a quarter of the minimum amount of time I was explicitly quoted and paid for. While I was already dealing with this, the overnight sitter was also approximately an hour and a half late. Then, despite receiving substantially LESS care than what I paid for, I was asked to pay an additional $75 because the owner failed to account for it when calculating my original quote. To be very clear: nothing about the care I requested had changed. I did not add another night, another visit, or additional services. The girl provided me with the original written, itemized quote, including the rates, number of overnights, number of drop-ins, deposit, remaining balance, and total. I agreed to and booked the service based on that quote. A business realizing afterward that it made a mistake calculating its own quote should not suddenly become the customer's financial responsibility... especially while that same customer is receiving significantly less care than what was promised and paid for. Unfortunately, the disorganization started before we even left. On August 25, after these dates had already been agreed upon, I was contacted and asked if I could find someone else to check on my dogs because she apparently could no longer accommodate care she had already committed to providing. Naturally, that sent me into a panic trying to figure out who was going to care for my animals while we were away. Then it turned out she had simply misread/mixed up her calendar. Mistakes happen. Someone being a few minutes late happens. But this was mistake after mistake involving scheduling, pricing, communication, and most importantly, the actual care my dogs received. These are my pets/my babies. When I am hundreds of miles away, I should not have to monitor my front-door history to determine whether the people I hired are actually showing up or whether they're staying for the amount of time I paid them to be there. If I pay $35 for a 35-45 minute drop-in, I expect my dogs to receive a 35-45 minute drop-in. Not 16 minutes. Not 13 minutes. And certainly not seven minutes. I have the original written quote as well as timestamped smart-lock records documenting the visits. Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, consistent pet care and the peace of mind that the services they paid for will actually be provided.

Immediately a girl showed up. I think her name was Leah., had worked there a while and was a manager, but came over and literally spent a half hour with us finding the perfect harness, chew toys, leash, enrichment toys, you name it. Had the dog two days and she's been a bear to get settled and get into her new crate and first off the harness we got was perfect even got a second one for when the puppy grows in a few months she already has something to fit into and the dog loves it!! found some chew toys that are also perfect as she kept sharing her experiences with her pitbull and other dog she has and I think she even has a ferret, so absolutely set us up!! We've spent over $200 on stuff and she stayed with us the entire time. This has to be the best customer service I've had ever at a PetSmart. Not to say other ones were less, but I really needed help because this is the first big dog I bought, and I could not be happier. Clean place. Has everything! Great service what can I say? I canceled my engagements for the mornings, which was fine, but this should be shared when the appointment is made. I asked what was included in the mini groom which is the service I booked. (No real cutting.. just a bath, teeth cleaned, trim of the feet pads and sanitary areas) I was then asked if I wanted to pay an extra $8 to have my pups feet trimmed up when the BOTTOM of her feet were trimmed. I declined the service. When I went back 4.5 hours later to pick my pup up I was informed that while she was trimming the bottom of her feet she went ahead and trimmed her whole foot up and that she wouldn't charge me extra. She explained that "as a groomer it looks very unkept so I trimmed them up". I told her that I don't trim my dog that she was bought as a shaggy dog. She could tell I was very angry!! I had declined the service yet she did it anyway. She told me there would be no charge and she was sorry. I spoke to my dog so I could pick her up and at that time the lady proceeded to the back and SLAMMED the back area door. She slammed the door as if I did something wrong! She took it upon herself to make a decision that was not hers to make after I clearly told her no! Now it will be months before her hair grows out and she is a photo shoot puppy so I am screwed. To top it off the cut on the feet is horrible (see picture) and she shaved my girls butt bald! She didn't just trim it! Its just horrible! Picture of normal feet and 2 pics of chop job!

Why We Keep Coming Back: * They stay in Pawville's "townhomes," which are super spacious and include both indoor and outdoor areas--perfect for comfort and play. * We genuinely look forward to the daily photos and email updates the staff sends. It means so much when we're traveling, especially during longer trips--it gives us peace of mind and keeps us connected to our pups. * The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. We were able to tour it before our first booking and felt totally comfortable leaving Ned and Bonita in their care. * Bonus: they offer a multi-pet discount, which is great when you're boarding more than one dog. It's clear the team at Pawville truly cares. We're so thankful to have found a place that treats our dogs like family!
