    Dental cleaning

I notice that my 8 years old dog had to do some professional dental cleaning and I took her at this place . So I took her for the 1st appointment where the doctor does an evaluation and the diagnosis was to have a dental cleaning. ( blood works was done) Between the 1st appointment and the day of the cleaning , I had to send the primary vet information where they called to ask the patient's files. Yesterday was the operation day . 8:30am I dropped her 12:30: X-ray was done abs the veterinarian called me to explain what should be done, options and price . 3:30: they called me to update that it was finished and my Dog was recovering 4:15: my dog was ready to be released. ( 1 dental cleaning + 01 tooth removed + 02 tooth roots treated ) The staff is very friendly. I felt very secured with them as I had concerns about the anesthesia. I recommend this place .

I have no words. Ok I have a thousand words but I will try not to write a book. What else can I say this place is amazing! I have used them 3 different times for different furbabies and they seem to get better every time. I recently brought one of my cats in. A Siamese who had some bad dental issues. I had actually taken her to my regular vet a month prior for a dental. She runs a low temp anyways for a cat but they called and said her temp had dropped way too low. I got worried and told them to pull her out. So they did and I told them I would just bring her to the Speciality dental vet I had taken my other ones too! Not only did they get me in a lot faster than usual, since they stay busy being they are so fantastic, but Arya was a completely different cat after the procedure than she was after I brought her home from her surgery at the regular vets office. It was like night and day. When she came home from my regular vets she was disoriented and unhappy and just miserable. Also had a hard time keeping her temp up the first day or so. Fast forward a month and I bring her home from Atlanta Vet Dental Services and she gets out of the carrier like "yeah I just had teeth pulled but it's ok I'm feeling good". What an amazing difference. I was worried about the last dog I brought there cause again at my regular vet they couldn't keep her blood pressure up. So they ended early. But at AVDS they had no issue with her blood pressure and she recovered so well from the anesthesia. I don't want to dump on my vet but I do want to let you know about the experience at the Atl vet dentist. Their receptionist Jessica is the bomb. She's very VERY knowledgeable and not just any run of the mill receptionist. She's sweet, caring and listens to clients. The vet is amazing too! When I went to pick up one dog who had her dental there I had actually had another of my dogs get a dental the same day at my reg vet. When she saw her in the car in my husbands lap shaking some she asked if she could double check on her and see what her temp was. She's just a whopping 3lbs so like Arya she gets cold easily. But I couldn't believe the empathy and care the dentist vet Dr. Mees showed to my babies that day. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well and they do great work on reviewing everything under the sun at checkout to make sure they cover it all. I am beyond pleased with this service and I highly recommend it to everyone in and around the area who needs dental services for their fur baby.

Always loved Dr.Mees! Been using them for probably 15+ years. She's an excellent vet dentist and truly loves the animals.

Six years covered a lot. Finn and Callie, grown from ferals with a problem nobody else had bothered to diagnose into two ordinary spoiled house cats. Remy's chicken allergy, worked out and managed on Apoquel. Phoebe, all the way through the end of her life. And Callie's CCL, which they referred out to a surgeon rather than taking on themselves. That last one is the tell, and it's the same thing I liked in 2020. A vet who sends you to a specialist when the case calls for one is a vet who isn't guessing -- the same instinct Dr. Banner showed when she tested two former ferals for clostridium instead of handing me another round of whatever hadn't worked yet. Ask the right question, then be honest about the answer, including when the answer is "not us." Names, because they've earned them. Dr. Becky is still amazing, six years on. Dr. Kasey has been Remy's vet from the beginning. And Carrie, the client care manager, has always been there for us. Six years, four animals, one clinic. Five stars.

First, my old lady terrier mix had an ear infection that my typical treatment of ear cleaning could not resolve, so I brought her in for professional care. A few weeks later, my heart dog had developed a nasty case of the itchies on his underside, so I brought him in for some relief. I saw a different doctor on each visit but both were great in their own way. I felt like my pups were in good hands the whole time. I followed each doctor's recommendations for my babies and their issues cleared up almost instantly. I really like that they have an online account where I can request appointments or review my pets' histories and treatments. I also love how friendly and helpful everyone on staff is. Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but they eased my old girl's nerves and much to my surprise, let my heart dog, Rex, put his guard down. I normally have to keep a muzzle on him when outside of the house because he can be unpredictable and I worry that he might get nippy with a vet, especially a new one. That was not the case here at all. Rex was on his best behavior and seemed to even enjoy his visit, which is a first for him. He was so relaxed that I took his muzzle off just before they were going to give him a shot. I worried that he might react negatively to the shot but he took it like a champ and loved the attention he got from staff. He was in such a good mood, that I snapped a pic of him in the exam room and I swear he was so happy, he looked like he was smiling! I like Paw Patch Animal Clinic, which is where I had first taken Rex when I moved from Miami, but I switched to CAC because it was closer to my house and I am glad I did since my baby really likes it there. I was provided with an estimate ahead of time and given an opportunity to accept or decline the vet's recommendations. Neither visit was particularly cheap (nothing really is these days), but I felt like the costs were reasonable considering the quality of service provided. CAC will definitely be my preferred vet from now on and I am happy to offer this enthusiastic recommendation on their behalf!

Our French Bulldog, Bella, is paralyzed in her hind legs and was struggling with chronic UTIs and recurring ear infections. We were forced to move from Rose's Animal Hospital (unfortunately they closed), and we moved to CAC, who had months to address these issues. Instead, they kept bringing us back in, running the same expensive tests over and over, and prescribing the same antibiotics without ever getting to the root of the problem. The bills piled up and we were CONSTANTLY bringing her in, but more concerning was the complete lack of genuine concern for ACTUALLY treating and resolving her issues. We finally left CAC- frustrated, exhausted, and no longer willing to watch Bella suffer with these recurring issues. Within ONE MONTH of switching to Roswell VETS4PETS, the difference in Bella's health was finally resolved. Their vets identified the underlying allergies causing her ear problems and created a real care plan for reducing UTIs. She has done a complete 180 since being under their care. If you love your pet and want real solutions- not endless bills and bandaid fixes- go to VETS4PETS. I cannot recommend them enough. CAC should be ashamed of the way they operate and should seriously reflect on their priorities as a veterinary clinic.

Unfortunately, there is a vet there now that does not treat people as they should be treated. He did not speak to me(f) or look me in the eye, he only spoke to my male(m) companion. When I was emotional about the content of the visit, he was visibly uncomfortable with my tears and left the room. He did not return. He is racist, misogynistic and sexist. I will not allow him to treat my animal ever again. It was gross.

They asked me to bring her in, and they always bring her out of view, even for an exam which I found odd. But this time, she came back into the room fully traumatized. The vet had pulled a few top stitches and mentioned a staple. All I know is I could not get near that area without her freaking out when we left. Also, he was concerned she might have a deep infection and told me that we needed to get a culture. He also wanted me to buy topical antibiotics for her incision. He walks out and the medical tech walks in and tells me that's going to be $200 for a culture. First of all, she's not running a fever, there was no significant redness in that area, nor pus just weeping, and no additional swelling from that time I took her home from being spade. Being medical, I definitely questioned this culture and decided to hold off until four days later when I would be coming back to have the rest of the stitches removed on top of knowing that I was using a topical antibiotic in the interim. The female vet that I saw for follow up was very kind and informed me that my dog was having a type of allergic reaction or sensitivity to that particular suture material. That made a lot of sense to me and actually once the sutures removed, she healed up beautifully. So i not has my medical background I would've unnecessarily spent an extra $200. I'm also quite shocked. He did not recognize what she immediately told me. Also, the medication that cost over $30 was pumped into a medication bottle. So they have this big bottle in the back that they're just pumping into a bottle and then way upcharging. Nice. Fast forward to today. My dog ate something she shouldn't have and I tried to get it out of her mouth but she ate it before I could get to it. I called the vet and they told me that's emergent and could I be there in 30 minutes. I said I would call right back. I called back and said it was going to be, about 35 minutes to get there and that would put me there about 530, and they close at six. They told me that that was too late. I said you guys told me this is an emergency, and you're refusing to see her? Wow, amazing care! He didn't even apologize or show great concern. I thankfully found a vet MUCH closer to my house and they were amazing. Shame on this place for trying to overcharge for things they shouldn't, for trying tomaking negligent charges, and as far as care here? What a joke! I will never step foot in this place again and my friend who referred me is also leaving after hearing what I had to say. Too many options to settle for this!
