I like this shop that has prices about equivalent to the bigger stores because it's easy to get in and out of, there's Apple parking, and usually don't run into too many people at the same time. I purchased a Seresto Collar for my Cat and my Dog in May of 2025. Normally I purchase them at petco chewy or pet smart. These collars either out dated of dective stopped working after a month or less. The Stores officialresponse was the 8 month warranty is made by Seresto. We do not honor any issue to the product beyond 30 days. Additionally the contact info of the Store owner is not made available to customers. PetGoods staff members going above and beyond. Morgan might just say she's doing her job, but this little guy is a puppy mill rescue. He is estimated to be about 8 years old and it took about 11 months for him to open up to anyone. All that time we'd stop in once or twice a month and Morgan, Liz, Sarah, Peter, Brianna, Big and Little Chris, Greg, JJ and all the other staffers were so patient, kind and gentle helping me nurture this sweet Keeshond out of his imprisonment within himself after years of cruel treatment in a NY puppy breeding mill. The store is clean, the staff are beyond awesome, even the customers I meet in the store are fantastic. PetGoods should be proud of their staff and commend Morgan, Greg, Liz, JJ, Sara, Peter, Brianna, Big Chris and Little Chris. For the third time we bought dog treat bones and there were bugs in them. The bugs mutated into pantry moths flies and we had to not only throw out all the bones but a huge amount of food. also had to spray the cabinets to eliminate the moths before they populated. we had to buy pantry moth traps also. we lost probably 350 dollars atleast in food to stop the moths before they really spread. I would not buy dog treats in this store. if you buy the food watch what happens. read more

I hate to give a bad review and this store is great for the variety of dog food, cat food and anything you really need BUT.... I was in yesterday and they should not be selling live animals. The cockatiel was in really bad shape and their was dead baby mice on their backs. So sad I wish I never seen it because I can't get the image out of my head. This store is locally owned and has an enormous selection of dog and cat toys as well as food and treats. They have a great reptile collection and lots of fish and small animals too! Tons of birds seed and treats and toys as well. Highly recommended read more

I won't be back here. It's not a bad store and I don't know if I got one bad bag of dog food or if it was sitting on the shelf for too long or what the case was but I found bugs in my dogs kibble that I purchased from the store. I Waited in fish section for over 20 minutes for no one to come. While walking on a Cain I walk up to cashier and ask her for the fluval fx6 a $349.99 value. She says it's in the back bring up the box. I state to her that it says not to bring box up, just to go tell cashier and product will be upfront. She then looked in the front and didn't see it to only call for help out the back. Young ladie walked to back only to drop the unsealed box several times. You would think the amount of money of the product the would treat it carefully. Breaking the carrying handles on sides and possibly damaging product inside. I pray the filter is ok. When asked if there's any coupons that she could scan in she stated it would be in your email for our petgood members. I opened my email and presented the email with barcode for her to scan, she then opens her draw and scans the coupon she said she didn't just have. Then when asked about the 10% coupon she stated the $20 off coupon would be more then the 10% off. I kindly corrected her math error and decided to leave the store and stated dont worry it's not a problem. Poor customer service. The cashiers name is Amanda. I should of known she was having a bad day when I arrived she was complaining about the store and how they need to fix barcodes. It's truly a shame because they have someone that works in the reptile section that's amazing and well educated on the products he sells. I'm on the waiting list for a tegu when it arrives but not sure if I will spend my hard earned money with this store again. I LOVE Pet Goods. I do for my feeder mice. I have never had a problem at all with any sick rodents. They are very knowledgeable as well, & I like going in there to talk about my 23 old corn snake, named Ziggy Stardust. Yes, you heard right 23 years old. That's VERY old for a snake. When I was in this store a few weeks ago, I thought I was just in another pet strode. Prices are the same as the main branded stores for more-cheaply made products. This place sucks! 4 or 5 cashiers and manager standing around, no one helping customers. I needed a bathroom to change my baby's diaper and was told they were out of service, I wanted to change a diaper not use the toilet . I was told it was locked, and the manager and employees started saying how this was a pet store not a baby store and I should have changed my baby before I got there. If it wasn't so cold I would have changed my baby's poop diaper right there in her stroller in the entry way. I will pay the higher prices and go to Petsmart, which is exactly what I did! I have shopped here often because I like the physical space of the store. However, The coupons are too specific. I like a general 20% off coupon. The reason I am giving it a bad review is I purchased a ball python for my son...I caved into the begging despite my personal objections to keeping such critters and the like. Well, I brought the snake home on Friday night and it DIED sometime Tuesday night. Poor thing. I went into complain to the manager and told him what happened. He offered no apology and insisted his vendor is reputable. I used to be a zoo keeper and spent many years working with reptiles, I had a brand new cage too so there is no way the snake got mites under my watch. The store also insisted it had eaten prior to my purchase. There is no explanation as to why this snake died at such a young age except that it was ill prior to purchase. The manager was trying to get me to purchase a new ball python that was arriving later on that day....at a discount...from the same vendor. No thanks! This will be the last time I step foot in this store. I am also tired of seeing the bunnies they sell being kept in such tight cages without ant exercise. Shame on you and shame on me for supporting your store and the "pets" you sell. read more
