If I could leave 0 stars I would. I've had MULTIPLE bad experiences here. One includes the death of my beloved frenchie. First time around I sent my dog and my sister-in-laws dog with a friend. He did us the favor of dropping them off and picking them up. He paid cash upon pick up and it was recorded on camera (thank God) because the lady up front was harassing us the following week for payment THAT WAS ALREADY MADE. We had to have the owner review the cameras. Of course, he can see clearly see where the cash was handed to the receptionist so he had us come back for a complimentary bath. This is why we had a false sense of trust in them again and booked a third shower. Now this is where our second bad encounter comes in. It was a warm day and the lady at the front desk kept our Frenchie in the hot back area to the point that our dog had a heat stroke she didn't survive. This b**ch is out here killing animals out of ambition. She literally confessed to seeing warning signs of our dog's distress, but continued with the service to not return the money we paid up front! Oh and IT DOESNT END THERE! She must be so unorganized that now she's harassing for payment that was made AGAIN. Wtf is wrong with these people? I paid, my dog died, and they're still harassing us!!! Do not trust them with your pets! I will be writing this same message to PETA. This business is not run ethically and I'm sure it's not run legally. read more

I requested a call back to discuss the issue again no call to date. Noelia the groomer basically brushed me off and told me to do whatever I want. How can you expect me to be happy with her response and behavior? She was completely rude, condescending, and I felt very disrespected. For these reasons I have taken the time to submit a review so that no one else has to experience an unpleasant situation like this. Your reviews are not the greatest, I should've checked before taking my dog there. I took a chance and trusted that you would do a good job and that was my mistake. You have made slanderous accusations which is completely unacceptable. Believe me ,I have better things to do with my time. Disgusting and expensive ! It was my 3-4th time bringing my dog here when one day i pick her up and take her home and realize she is gushing blood from her neck! We didn't want to assume it was the groomers until we recently switch to a new one where they told us that the previous groomers (PETLAND) was at fault for cutting out babies neck while doing her hair. I spent a month looking for a new groomerfor my fur baby, my brother in-law told me about this place since he brings his Frenchies here too. I called to schedule my appointment and they answered right away and booked the same day. On May 23, 2022, I called Victor Filgueras at Petland to inform him that my beloved dog Royal had passed away. Royal was 6 1/2 years old and had an infection that took his white blood count up to 21.75 causing him to have seizures... During the call with Victor, I let him know I was calling to let him know of the situation because Royal was groomed at Petland on May 17, 2022. Victor had been Royals groomer for his entire life, It was important to me to let his longtime groomer know the sad news. Victor gave Royal his 1st and last grooming... However a week and 2 days after Royals passing I received the voicemail I've included below at the bottom of this review from Victor This voicemail had no concern or respect for me as the customer that had supported his business with 2 dogs over a 9 year span of time. Someone else had obviously contacted animal control. I don't know about you but this type of lack of care and compassion for a long time customer is unacceptable. this voicemail was totally callous, hurtful and rude. Petland is amazing and affordable! He really goes above and beyond when it comes to the care of my dogs.

In my responses they removed mine and reported it. In those responses I provided clear detail of my experience and he could not come up with anything else but to report it. So again My review was based on my actual experience. I did not specify the exact date nor my dogs name in my review, so you saying I created a fake account name and trying to conceal my identity is making a false and wild accusation to discredit me and my experience. I have nothing to fear from you BENITO. Of course you're not going to find my name on the date I posted my review, I didn't say I went that exact day. He is saying my review is not genuine because I don't provide these details, but when he asked for the details he only wants it so he can say what "really" happened as if I'm lying. How are you going to say what "really" happened when you weren't there. I know it's your job to reply but your responses are not genuine and unprofessional because you were not the person who was in charge that day. I even described his employee and he did not deny it. He just keeps going back to me not telling him my information but for what? You will find an excuse. Look at the reviews and see how defensive he is. You are not taking the time to genuinely listen to your clients, you're not accepting accountability at all. After I gave your groomer my dog she closed the gate. The gate being closed should have ensured his safety, so that excuse does not align with my experience. Afterwards when she closed the gate she was dragging him and he did not want to go with her. So please tell me what "really" happened there? Per your posted hours, you close at 5pm. The girl who checked me in told me it would take 2 hours for my dog to be ready. That would have made it 4pm, ONE hour BEFORE your posted closing time. I showed up between 4:30-4:45 after LACK of communication. And the facility was closed and locked BEFORE the 5pm close time. I spent at least 20 minutes banging on the door, calling you to no avail. After receiving a call from ANOTHER client that we were there then I received a phone call from someone saying they had tried to reach me which is false. Even the man in charge that day NOT Benito, he did not apologize or acknowledge the fact that his staff failed to communicate with me that my dog was ready. All he could say was "I tried calling you" which is a lie. What would have happened if that other client wasn't there and nobody was answering my calls? From the beginning there was no accountability. Now finally I had debated whether to mention this because I wanted to stick to facts and not speculate but after confirmation one of their groomers messaged me a few days after I posted my review. Then a week later she deleted her profile picture. A decade of business, and yet it's a 3 star rating with serious allegations, the place is not clean, they are unprofessional and do not follow "the customer is always right" rule, it's very clear that they should not be in business. I've been a customer for over 15 years and I have always complied with price increases, but unexpectedly, the price for a wash and cut is no longer affordable for the community they serve. I've been taking my Chihuahua terrier, Dixon here for years and I've never had any issues. Dixon always come back very clean and flea-less. They are always extra careful and gentle with Dixon, which I really appreciate since he is a senior dog. Honestly, I don't understand why people are blaming this place for making their pets anxious and stressed. Not all animals enjoy going to the groomers, it's a stressful situation for a animal (in any animal groomer). I took my cat there like I always. Everyone there is always so patient with smiles on there faces. My cat nails were growing too long. They were growing into his pads. I sooo appreciate them helping me with the problem. They solved it for me and he's all good now thanks to them! I was told that one of the young ladies got bit twice by my cat. When I apologized for it she said that's okay. They're so good and always so patient. We used to take my granddog there to be groomed. His name was Taz he he was a three-legged Yorkie. They did such a good job with him. With all that being said of course I'll take my animal there and I would definitely refer anybody to take their dog or cat there. They're great crowd! read more

However, the more and more we brought our dog here we started to realize that they weren't brushing her teeth and cutting her nails like claimed to be doing. They raised their prices which is fine and all if they actually did quality work. They say you need an appointment but whenever you call to make one they act like we're weird for doing that. Ive been coming here for over a decade. And in the last three years its gone from bad to worse. First of they hired an extremely rude self entitled young woman. That should not be employed. She has dark brown/black hair and a piercing on her face. She had the audacity to say they werent going to take my dogs in cause I was ten minute late. I told her get me the gentleman ive been here literally at 10am with an appointment and they didnt show up till almost 10:30am. And this happened more than once. Which whatever is happens ive been coming her for over ten years. Also the girl said a rude comment about having to do my dogs anal glands. First of all groomers give this service. Took my dog here once. When I picked her up she had a bright red bruised eye. Im suspecting the groomer punched my dog. Never again.

We've brought our dog here a couple of times and honestly we won't be coming back. Their time frame is so inaccurate and communication is unprofessional. My husband literally waited over an hour after he called and they stated that our dog would be ready in 10min. Also my husband heard the girl that works there complaining stating "that's why they don't like taking walk ins " even though he was there for over 4 hurs . This place raised their prices and still give just an ok haircut for $55. The past three times when I have gone to pick up my dog, I have had to request his hair be trimmed more shorter while I wait and even then I have to trim more when I get home because of all the crooked and stray hairs left. The prices are high and the quality is not very good. Sometimes it looks like my dog didn't get a haircut at all. Feeling quite disappointed with this business. Once he was given back to me without a bath and loose hairs all over his body. It's a real shame because they started out good but have lost their excellence. My dog is scared of this place and wants to run out every time I go there. What happens to him there that makes him so terrified? This place is ridiculous I took my dog here and some groomer named Brianna told me after to just take my dog when she's around because the other groomers hit and abuse the other dogs. I'm not sure if it's her trying to gain clientele or if it's true but this should not be happening at all and I will never be taking my dog here again whether it's with her or the other groomers. Her knowing and not doing anything about it says a lot about her and she could be doing it aswell. This shop needs new groomers who care and are careful with out fur babies !
