I had a very disappointing experience with Cherish K9 Dog Boarding and will not be bringing my dog…read moreback. When I picked her up on 11/12/2025, she had diarrhea, had thrown up, and a day later ended up vomiting a piece of a toy. Liz showed no accountability and denied that anything like that could have happened at their facility. Instead of being helpful, she was condescending, dismissive, and told me that I needed to watch my tone. Liz kept asking me what would be helpful in this situation, but honestly what would be the solution if they cannot even take accountability that it happened while under their supervision? Liz stated that she didn't want to be rude and asked if I was so concerned why didn't I call sooner. I work 12-hour shifts and was continuing to monitor her symptoms and I called on my day off. I was genuinely taken aback by the entire phone conversation. I understand that unexpected situations can occur even at reputable dog boarding facilities, but the response I received felt dismissive and was not at all what I expected. When I told her about the vomiting and diarrhea, she brushed it off and said she "wasn't surprised" because of how excited my dog gets, even suggesting that maybe social play wasn't good for her because she can get overstimulated. That response felt unhelpful and minimizing. She asked for me to send her a picture of the toy and said she would go check to see if they had the toy that I described. She called me back and of course she said they did not have that toy there (which is what I figured they were going to say). What worries me most is that based on how the situation was handled, I genuinely feel that if my dog had been hurt or injured while at their facility, they wouldn't take any responsibility for it. Thankfully, my dog wasn't injured and threw up the toy piece the next day, but the lack of concern and support from the facility was extremely concerning. I'm genuinely disappointed to say that I no longer feel comfortable bringing my dog here. I truly wish there could have been a reasonable resolution, as I have no desire for any negativity or bad feelings.

Liz and Jordan went well above and beyond to board our three cats overnight with zero notice and what can only be described as the best customer service I have ever received in any industry. My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the quality at Cherish K9. If we are ever in the Klamath Falls area again, they will get our business every single time. People of Klamath Falls, you are so lucky to be near the best possible spot for boarding your pets anyone could hope for.

The techs and vets I've worked with have been professional and great with my dogs. They are all hands on with pet examinations- which is a huge plus! I've been to clinics and hospitals where they take your dog make you wait then pit you in a room and all the vet does and look at your dog and base diagnoses on what you're saying. Not once touched my dog. Here! Each vet has gotten down on the floor and physically examined every inch and didn't mind dog hair or kisses at all! A plus for me! They give you options (if there are any) for possible care and have always been conscious of the price instead of just pushing treatments no one but the 1% can afford. It's an hour drive for me BUT if you care for your pets and want quality care try this place out! Next- wish they had 24hr or late hr emergency services- then they would be top tier! She listens and explains well with sincere compassion. The staff are courteous and very helpful, and my cats really appreciate the private kitty waiting room. The pharmacy can be frustrating with communication. They're great at letting you know when your Rx is ready, but there have been a couple of times when there was a delay on their end and I was left in the dark despite calls to inquire. Definitely, be sure to call in refills 3 days in advance at least.
