First self wash at pet palace
    Jesse B.

Having just moved to a new home I wanted to find a pet store that has a self wash for my queen hound Piper. Pet Palace is very close and is family owned. I do buy from the big box stores but supporting smaller businesses makes me even happier. At $10 the self-wash is a great value and there are two self washes available. You get 30 minutes and they provide everything. From a room that you can fully close the door (or leave part or fully open) to ramp for easy entry into tub, towel with cookie (nice touch Pet Palace), shampoo/conditioner, brush and scrubber you are able to wash without issue. They also They offer a vet clinic inside. I haven't used so just mentioning as one of the services they offer. Pet Palace sells a wide variety of dog, cat, fish, etc. food and products. The staff is very friendly and they have cats and dogs hanging out in the store. Feel like a queen (like my hound Piper) or king when visiting Pet Palace.

I popped in her on a whim and fell in love!!!! An amazing selection of toys, amazing employees helping me along the way and one happy pooch! The best part is that the dog food can be returned if they do not like it's and that had been such a headache for me in the past! I love this store so much! I will avoid larger stores moving forward. This store has been open for 20+ years and I would much rather support local then let smart moving forward!

I absolutely love shopping at this place for my fur kid. Tons of food & toy selections and some obscure items that you are unlikely to find at the big box stores! Thankfully the prices aren't 'boutique' high, either. This is the only local spot I can find my cats fav food, otherwise I have to order online. The store is mainly dog- centric, with a healthy dose of cat items and some fish food/care, too. Collars, leashes, treats, wet, dry and refrigerated raw foods, dental care and freshly baked dog cookies make this a one-stop shop for your fur babe. I enjoy giving some lovin' to the store kitties every time I'm in. Hi Kiki!

My pup and I are regulars at Cherry Creek off-leash dog park, and he's usually in need of a bath afterward as I drive home on Parker Road. I happened to stop in last weekend when I saw they were open on Sundays and had a self-serve dog wash option. Ten bucks and I had a room and shower all to myself with the pup. The water was warm, there was a drainstop to catch all the dog hair, and they provided shampoo and towels. Did I mention the towels were tied and had two small dog treats too? I'm a sucker for anyone that gives treats to my boy. The staff was super helpful and I walked out with a bath, an elk bone, and beef bone for $15. My dog and I were both winners.

My favorite pet store/self dog wash ever. $10 a dog and it's in your own private room. Echo gets dirty after the dog park.

We told the representative that our dog was pretty picky with snacks and treats, and we were made sample treat pouches that we could go home and give to him to find what he liked the most. We have never been treated so well in a store before and offered options to take home and try first. This was amazing. While we were at the bonetique, we noticed that there was a dog meet up, which was extremely cute. I definitely recommend chewy's Bonetique. They had many Colorado made treats for dogs. It is offered as a walk in service and it will run you 20 dollars with an option to tip. Elias did our dog's nails today, no easy task since he's a little fussy with his feet, but Elias was quick and efficient, and oh so loving to our little old guy. It costs less than our vet and a little more than the big chain pet stores, but Chewy's is located so close to our house that I think it evens out just fine.

Today when I picked him up from being groomed they cut his hair all the way down. The groomer said she checked the notes and this is what they "have always done". WRONG he has NEVER had his hair shaved down. The owner Luke apologized and stated that his health is not affected. Also WRONG Luke! He is an 8 year old black double coated dog and we are heading into the warm summer months. My senior black fur dog just lost the ability to maintain his temperature regulation. What groomer would not know that you are not supposed NEVER shave down a long haired Dachshund as it damages the coat and impairs the dogs ability to regulate temperature. A knowledgeable groomer would know that long haired Dachshunds are DOUBLE COATED and their undercoat protects them from heat in the summer and cold in the winter. A knowledgeable groomer would know that shaving down their fur can damage their permanent coat preventing it from growing back properly. Poor guy it looks horrible and I'm praying that somehow we are lucky and it grows back in without being permanently damaged. This is going to impact my dogs entire summer as he will have to avoid being in the sun. So no long walks or hikes for him. So you are WRONG Luke this is more than cosmetic and goes way beyond my dog looking absolutely horrible. This definitely affects his health and his life. BEWARE AND NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!!
