We used another service during our Thanksgiving vacation and two days in a row the sitter was a no-show, while we were hundreds of miles away creating a stressed-out vacation experience. Thankful to say, our sitter Mikayla not only showed up every day as scheduled, but she also sent updates via email for each visit per our request. Three times each day we got an update on Molly along with a couple of photos. Laura and the team made it super easy to get set up, to schedule the visits, and the overall experience was wonderful. Is Laura more expensive than the other service we used previously? Yes. Was she worth the extra costs? Absolutely. The peace of mind knowing that Mikayla was there each day and providing the updates created a stress-free vacation. We will be using their services again in the future.

So when having to board your dog for the first time ever makes it really tough and difficult to not only leave your dog but find an establishment that you can trust with your beloved canine. But here at fancy pets I can say without a doubt we know our dog was taken care of and loved. We left him for 3 days and 2 nights during New Year's Eve weekend. Luckily my sister in law left her dog here as well so he had a familiar face! What's great about fancy pets is they provide beds, bowls, and even a suite for your dog to sleep in. Yet the best thing of all is if you follow their Facebook page you will get to see daily pics of your dog outside playing at least 2-3 times a day!! If and when we have to board our dog again it will be an easy choice to leave him here !!

Yrs later still am traumatized by the ineptness & torture our beloved dog was subjected to on…read morenumerous ocassions . This is a CLINIC and at that like a "Puppy Mill", it is like a "Vet Mill" ( IE.: they have contract w/ county shelter) To be brief over $500 later ,young vets unsure from the get go of my dog's diagnosis, prescribing him wrong meds thinking Oh well, maybe its...a UTI, bickering w/ each other in front of me , one vet putting down the even less experienced one, she barked "it's constipation!!" after prodding his rectum repeatedly. This is over a course of almost 3 wks. Then they wanted to "rent"! equipmt & a tech to do an ultrasound (=$350). We were DONE. Went to kind unassuming Vet Dr. McCabee(Hospital) in W. Park & he within just 60seconds of examining our dear dog, said I am so sorry, I am quite positive its a prostate cancer tumor. I'll do the ultrasound if you wish & it was $150. We were finally able to know what was going on and he lived ok for another 4mos. till almost 13. That last night we had no idea it was coming he was yelping ,a vomiting turn.... McCabee was on vacation, other vet couldn;t do it until 3 days later--end up w/ LMVClinic in desperation, thinking how could they mess this up--well SHE did- She did not give our dog enough meds She said she wasn't sure how much to give a 12lb dog!!! & we were already so distressed we didn't know how to react & she said well if its not enough I'll go make another shot. (WTH?) Sure enough it was NOT-essentially watched out dog's eyes pleading in our arms: "What is happening to me???" It was a slow and painful death as she left the rm to make another shot. Likedned to an electrocution? How do you mess up the shot for a 12lb dog? She was cocky & souless and has left the state of Fl. The vets there do not last long and its all about nickle & diming and no accountability.

Since our first meeting and subsequent engaging of their services we have found Albert and Precious Paws to be responsive to questions and changes that have come. Albert has helped us figure out the best ways to come alongside our mom to help with daily tasks (laundry, light cleaning, dog poop pickup, etc), but is done in a way that is not overbearing and allows mom to feel respected and not less than because she needs help.
