5 Stars - Highly Recommend! I can't say enough great things about this doggy day camp! From the moment we walked in, the staff made both me and both dogs feel welcome and at ease. They're friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for dogs. My dogs came home happy, tired, and well-socialized--which is exactly what I was hoping for. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, with plenty of space for the dogs to play and relax. I also appreciate the updates and photos they send throughout the day. Rosie absolutely loves making new friends and can't get enough of the pool--she's our little social butterfly. Remy, on the other hand, is all about the people. He really bonds with the staff, and it's clear they treat him with so much love and attention. One of the highlights for both of them was the dog-friendly ice cream--such a fun and thoughtful treat! Place was clean and spacious however I do NOT have trust and confidence in the care, supervision and training and their interpretation of PLAY vs. AGGRESSION and Aggressive pursuit. I am NOT happy and will unlikely return. My 6 mo old 15 pound pup was being relentlessly pursued and cornered by another dog who looked to be about 2x the weight and strength of my dog. I was able to observe this after the staff very reluctantly allowed me to go to "tiny town" in person to view the dogs at play through the viewing window. There was only one staff member in the room with at least 15-20 dogs ranging from around my dogs size to probably around 35 lbs. My dog was not having a good positive play experience and the staff did nothing and discounted it as just play and their good buds. What I saw was bullying relentless aggressive behavior and over pursuit of my small dog by a dog nearly 2x the weight with my dog trying to get away from the pursuit ultimately literally being cornered. I opened the "Staff only " door reached over and told them I wanted my dog NOW and was extremely alarmed and upset as was my husband. One - if your proud of your product don't be so hesitant and have an open viewing area. Two - there is a difference between play and positive experiences and aggressive pursuit. Its tough to give a rating as the place was clean and they did a good job with trimming her nails but the transparency, training and supervision leaves much to be desired. I felt terrible that my little one had that experience all day and the other days I wasn't there to catch this in the act. Be careful. Demand to see the dog when you pick up in person and observe whats going on. Web cams would be great here -- with this building for transparency as well. read more

Change your cancellation policy. My dog was sick and I had no choice but to cancel my reservation 2 days before. I've been a long time customer and consider this policy unfair. So they get to keep my $100 deposit for doing nothing. I can understand keeping a percentage but the entire deposit is ridiculous. They stated I had to cancel a week before my reservation. How could I when I made the reservation on 11/24 and today is 11/27. read more

Took my boy in for a grooming service after his original groomer left where we had been going and no other groomer would take him. Xerxes came home looking absolutely gorgeous. He hates being brushed and I had left him to get matted because I know he hates it and requires special attention. When we arrived we met the lovely lady who was tasked with a big dog who would be extremely unhappy. He immediately cuddled up to her...made this Mum feel so much better. When I picked him up, five hours later (that tells me that she worked around his personality and is not a negative) he looked and smelled absolutely amazing. Not one matted area had been cut off. We checked-in our Ninja Banzai at the Oakleaf Pet Paradise for 2 nights from the 27th and 29th of November as we wanted to try this location too, as he usually stays at the University Blvd location. He had a great stay and got his report cards, and made new playmates on his day boarding/overnight stays over the weekend. When I came to pick him up, he misplaced his favorite, indestructible bouncy black ball (probably because he was so busy playing with his buddies) Fortunately after 2 days, kudos to Candace and Isabelle, as they looked EVERYWHERE and finally found his prized possession and was at the Washroom (Banzai may have placed it there as he is does his hide-and-stash tricks at home, the Ninja that he is) We also brought in donations for the Pet Paradise Annual Food For Paws Pet Food Drive which supports the Feeding Northeast Families and every 20 lbs. of pet food can get you a free Night Card from January 06 till February 28 2021. A great effort from the organization, as it is really needed by families to feed our furry friends as this definitely shows that they are a Paradise with a Purpose, thanks to the entire PP Team, keep up the great work and we wish y'all Happy Holidays :) read more

Took all of our pups to Pet Paradise. Lots of staff available. On site Vet and groomers. Overall very satisfied with their stay.

I've never taken my dog to a daycare so I was pretty nervous but excited for him at the same time. The staff was excellent & I was asked to bring his shot record for my first visit. We just checked him in and the staff took him back and he went without looking back. I have to admit I was worried about him so I made my fiancé look up the web cams when we left and we spied on him while he was playing his heart out. I didn't get the feeling he missed us one tiny bit. lol The first visit was FREE! How COOL is that!?!? I didn't even realize that until we were ready to pay and they said we didn't owe anything. Everyone was super helpful and I even received a call the next day to follow up on our visit. I LOVE the WEB CAMs so you can see your fur baby having fun and playing. They even sent us pictures of him during the few hours they had him and I had to save all of them. This is such a great place and I will not hesitate to take him back. read more

Our girl loves this place (yes she tells us- by how excited she gets when we get on the highway and head toward Pet Paradise). We use PP for daycare twice a week, as well as boarding when we are out of town. We have never had an issue, and know that our pup is well loved, gets to swim and play with other dogs and is taken care of by dog loving humans while we are gone. PP is a beautiful and clean facility with indoor/outdoor rooms (which I love), and a super friendly and professional staff. - We have a 100 lb Rottweiler- big dogs are welcome here! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We have tried boarding our dogs here twice and both times were below our expectations. They are so quick to blame our dog for her anxiety being the root of the issues, instead of recognizing that they are the cause of the anxiety and helping her through it. From start to finish, we had a terrible experience on our last visit. We boarded both of our dogs in a shared suite. We had SO many problems even though we left detailed instructions with more than one person for how we wanted our dogs to be taken care of. I asked more than once if any of the things I was requesting cost extra money because I would happily pay to ensure it be done. They told me the things I requested were pretty standard and definitely did not cost extra. They did not call us to let us know our dogs weren't eating well (because by their 0-3 chart, our dogs didn't go more than one feeding in a row with a zero even though they had several meals they didn't eat at all). They didn't put fish oil on their food like I requested and then lied to me and said they did!!! The bottle I sent was sealed and was still sealed when they sent it home!!! I had also put enough treats for each dog to have three treats a day and when they came home, not a single treat was missing. They did not give my dogs ONE single treat even though I put it online in their chart to do so, told the person at the desk, and then reminded them when they called me after I dropped them off that their treats and toys were in the bag. I have a feeling they also didn't provide them their toys OR the extra bedding I requested either. When I picked them up, my dogs were terrified and smelled like feces and had visible poop and pee all over them. My one dog had a sore on his foot like he was laying in something wet for a long period of time. They told me they do a poop check every hour and assure me that they probably just pooped (even though they never poop where they sleep and had an outside patio).. I almost believed them until I took my dogs out of the building and they both immediately pooped. So if they were laying in feces or pee, it had been there for a long time! I got them home and had to bathe them twice before I could get the smell off of them. Neither of them ate for two WHOLE days after we picked them up and then had diarrhea for a week. It was over a week before they were back to normal. We board our dogs at different places at least two to three times a year and have never had an experience like this. All they did was refund me $66 of my stay for an inconvenience (not because they did anything wrong) and offered me a free daycare pass for each of them to try to make it a better experience. After I got home and realized about the fish oil, treats, diarrhea and a whole missing bag of dog food, I called back to explain how the only way I would accept trying this place again would be for them to upgrade me to the room with the camera for the next stay (I would pay the difference) so that I could actually see if they were being looked after and they treated me like that was such an unreasonable request!! Then refused to refund me anymore of my money saying that "just because I wasn't happy with the outcome, doesn't mean the service wasn't provided".... Like wtf!!!! I was completely appalled. I have told everyone I know, read the reviews and don't take your dogs here. They blame all the new staff for the issues and say they will work on training them better. Maybe the management is the problem... read more

After checking Pet Paradise Middleburg Facebook page out I asked them a question on one of their posts, since the page is active them posting on it pretty much daily. I was inquiring about their capability in safely boarding a senior dog with arthritis and prone to skin infections is allowed to remain wet. After having another popular local pet boarding and grooming location fail our furry family member I wanted to pose the initial question to see if they were a possibly for when we needed to board our baby. My question was IGNORED AND NOT ANSWERED AT ALL but they kept posting on the page for day afterwards. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent a PM message AGAIN NO RESPONSE! ***Please be aware that Pet Paradise does NOT RESPOND TO FACEBOOK POSTS OR PRIVATE MESSAGES so giving you the heads up not to waste your time in trying that form of Q&A Terrible failure of your Facebook page and possible window in how you fail to communicate with pet owners via all other avenues. I loved pet paradise at first for a number of reasons. However, the last two visits I was called and told that my dog had an "altercation" with another dog two days in a row. The first time I was told my dog pinned a smaller dog down but wasn't aggressive. (I thought they grouped dogs according to size. Why was a smaller dog with my dog?) anyway, I let it go and thought I'd try again the next day because the week before, my dog did two full days and had a blast! He even got into the pool which truly shocked me, but made me so happy and proud. He was afraid of the pool before. He had soooo much fun and made lots of friends. Anyway the following day, I dropped my dog off at 11:20 and they were calling me by 12 to tell me that my dog got into another altercation with a bigger dog this time. So at this point I am concerned because he'd never had any issues before with any of the dogs. Once I got there I had questions. I was told that a ball was being played with and my dog and another dog got into it because of the ball. (I'm super confused to hear this because I was told that toys weren't allowed for that very reason) They also didn't let me view the camera to see for myself what happened. I am now being told that my dog can no longer do group play because of the "safety of all dogs and staff including my dog" Why would I ever pay $60 to have my dog come to daycare and sit in a kennel all day and only play with ONE human sometimes? I can keep him home if that's the case. I was also about to be charged for a full day even though my dog was there for two hours. They charged me for a half day instead and didn't even want to honor the discount that you get for day camp. It was literally the last day of the discount. Needless to say, I will not bring my dog back. He's ok to come in to be groomed, he's ok to board, he's ok to day camp ALONE but not ok to play with other dogs, even though your staff didn't avoid these "altercations" Pet paradise oakleaf, please do better. Also a suggestion, maybe hire adults who have experience with dogs and not teenagers who are constantly on their phones which you can clearly see on camera. read more

We were very please with Gus' first puppy play date experience. We called several times with tons of questions prior to bringing him and every question was answered with professionalism and kindness. The staff was super nice from beginning to end. We enjoyed watching out pooch swim and play with other dogs.there was a staff member at all times monitoring and ensuring their safety. This is the worst vet that I have encountered im my entire life. A month after signing as a new client, I ended it a month later! I should've listened to my neighbor who took his pet off of their services. They're about MONEY and not the welfare of your pet. My pet got sick, and I wanted her to be seen. I was told by several of the locations that I couldn't bring my pet in for another 3 days. I was like, you've got to be kidding me. They continued to tell me that I had TWO pets registered with them. LIES!!!! I immediately contacted Bandfield, where my other pet has an account and added my pet that had an account with PET PARADISE/NEW DAY or whatever name that they go by and BANDFEILD signed her up and they saw and treated her the same day!!! When I canceled my account, they quickly took out the months payment however thwy were in a hirry to see my pet prior. I spoke with an Amber at one of the locations that canceled my account. I noticed that there was an additional charge. So, I called to speak to Amber, and that staff there gave me the run around. I can go on and on about those employees that I spoke to. My response to their survey when our dogs stayed at their facility Christmas 2023. I wrote; SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY FOR HAVING OUR DOGS LAY IN THEIR OWN FECIES AND URINE FOR HEAVEN KNOWS HOW MANY DAYS!! Came home a day early, giving your staff a heads up to that specifically to get them ready to go home, and to see if this stay for my two dogs would be better than the last time (giving your company another chance after the last stay, which by the way was awful!! My THREE dogs were housed in ONE LARGE KENNEL-not even an Extra Large kennel!!) Sadly, we were returning customers since you first opened so we wanted to give your facility the benefit of the doubt that it was just the one bad stay but boy were we foolish customers to do so!! NOTE: I said 'WERE Customers'!! FYI I plan to post this on Yelp to help some other unsuspecting customer NOT TO USE YOUR FACILITY!! I might suggest the boarding facility down the road; "Poochies") I pray someday with all of your money that you have to lay for days in your urine and deification so that you can see how great you will feel, how horrific you will smell and little your paid facility will care!! If you want your pet in a clean, comfortable facility, this is the place to go! Its brand new and top notch! They thought of everything even the design of their building. The staff are all very professional, very nice, and the concern of your pet their first priority. My dog Porter is in an area called "Tiny Town" and she enjoys spending the day with other little ones. I can't wait till summer so Porter can splash in their bone shaped swimming pool! Grooming services are TERRIBLE! My Aussie went from a beautiful girl to a poodle! The groomer said she was matted, what a lie. We brush her and she was not matted. Poor girl has been robbed of her coat. The very least the groomer should have called for instructions if there was a problem. I will say I was apprehensive at first because I am a skeptic puppy-momma! However I must say I was very impressed with the facility and services provided for my lil Moe-Moe. I came in for a tour and later in the week brought my Moe back for his acquaintance day. They were able to store his food that required refrigeration and the 24/7 webcam access was amazing for a paranoid momma like myself (LOL) and it allowed the whole family to tune in to see how much fun Moe was having (even our college kid in Orlando & Sister in NC could tune in) While Moe was there I received a mid-day report and fun photos which was a nice touch. When we picked him up and got him home wow was he exhausted from a fun filled day and believe me I know cause I was checking in.(Lol) On a additional note when I was leaving they let me know he had a bordetella shot that was due soon! (a testiment to how thorough they are) I was happy with the services and the prices are reasonable as well. Moe will definitely be returning for some play time. read more

First time and last time using this place. Took my dogs in over a weekend. Dropped off Friday and picked up Monday. On Saturday at 11am I got a voicemail stating my dog has a "hot spot" on her face. I called back 2 minutes after missed call got no answer. Left voice mail asking for call back. No one ever called me back. I called 2 more times never hearing back. Finally on Monday I called when we were our way to pick her up. We asked about the "hot spot" and were led to believe it wasn't anything crazy. That the vets were in surgery but might be able to see her before we arrive. We said ok. When I picked up my dog her entire right side of her face was bloody and raw. We got home took her to our vet (because nobody had the vet look at it there and never called me back to get permission to have her seen) and she had to be sedated shaved and medicated cause her face was infected. Had I got called back on Saturday maybe this issue could have been treated far sooner or at least made sure my pup wasn't in pain. read more

I like the facility. I like that you can watch on the website. The workers seemed nice. I was concerned about our dog because she was a rescue 5 years ago and suffers separation anxiety. She however seemed to do okay. I only seen her on camera on the last day were away. She was out in the pool area she does not like water she was walking around the edge and following a worker. She seemed happy when we picked her up then only a couple days later we were seeing spots of blood around the house and she was licking her paws a lot. After observing I see part of her pads were burned also other areas of her legs she lays on. Apparently she was out on the hot pavement around the pool. She did not go in there with these sores. I will be in touch with someone there. These are painful and will take time to heal. Oh they also said when we took her there we would get photos and a report card which we did not receive when we picked her up, when I asked about it they said they could provide for an extra charge. read more

Let me just start off by saying pet paradise is the best boarding/day camp you could bring your dog to. It is sooo clean and kept up to date! My Lola is a year old, full lab and she is the most energetic dog ever. The people here take care of her better than any other place she has been to. She has separation anxiety and when she is there she seems to forget about everything and just really enjoy her time! I can view her on the cameras which always puts our minds at ease. On top of it she gets the most play time possible, I mean this girl will come home and sleep for hours because of all the fun she had! We will never be boarding our Lola anywhere else! read more

They told us that our pup had Parvo and charged us 300 plus dollars not to mention scared the lights out of our family, Mostly my son. We took the pup straight to a Vet Hospital after leaving Pet Paradise and they tested the pup twice and both tests came back negative for parvo. I would definitely not recommend taking a loved one to there Vet. read more

Please DO NOT leave your pet with these folks. Had to go in for surgery so I left my Aussie with them for a week. The day after surgery there was message on my phone that there had been an incident but my dog was ok. Well I took a healthy dog & got back an injured dog with probably PTSD. She was attacked by a large dog while still on the leash when going out to play. Had to have surgery. Was on antibiotics & pain meds along with a Ecollar. The staff never checked the collar so when I picked her up it had rubbed her raw so now another open wound. They did not follow simple feeding instructions & also added $80 in extra fees due to holiday week that they didn't mention when I made reservation. The only good thing is the Vet. When I took her back to have stitches removed I got to talk with her & at least she was in good hands while in vet clinic Have written Pet Paradise & it's been a month. No response. We love pet paradise... have boarded both our dogs and cat at other locations in jax and just tried this location right around the corner from the house and loved it! Pet paradise staff is always friendly and facilities are different than any other boarding facility that we have been able to find in jax. The most important thing we like about pet paradise is they do not breed discriminate!!!! They never hesitate to board our pit mix when other facilities turn her away without ever meeting our sweet angel! We booked the VIP suite the first time around, which includes video surveillance and were so happy with what we saw, we chose to book the regular indoor/outdoor suite for this visit.
