Tried this place for boarding a few times. Mike was nice on the phone initially. April, the owner, has been rude every time. She also charges 4% fee for credit cards AND bank cards. The drop off/pick up hours are from 8:30 am to 11am BUT at any point, AKA they are too busy (that's what they told me), they can say pick up by 8:30am.... if not you pay for another night. And they are closed Sunday so if you are traveling and they change the pick up time and you can't make that 8:30AM pick up they will keep your dog until Monday AND charge you for it. Our dog came home FILTHY every time we used them. The most recent stay my dog came home vomiting and had diarrhea for days! I don't recommend bringing your dog here! read more

The person who answered the phone sounded like they didn't want to talk and didn't even say the businesses name upon answering. I could hardly hear them and they barely responded to anything I asked. Our critters have been going to doggie camp here for quite a while. The staff are great and they are all obviously animal lovers. Abby, our Newfoundland bounds into the reception area. She knows she will be seeing her little buddies soon. The rates are reasonable and the indoor / outdoor runs are quite large. In the summer the indoor kennels are air conditioned. Important for a Newfy. I have no reservation to recommending Pet Pleasers to anyone looking to board a pet. read more

I sent my rescue dog to Pet Pleasers after taking a tour of the facility it was clean neatly kept no smell inside or out in the play areas. It was the first time I boarded him since I got him and was very apprehensive about it because he didnt have a good start in life. Not only was he so cared for but came back weighing more than when I sent him( hes a very fussy eater)! He loved his lil vacation and would highly recommend April and her staff! This place had a bad rap from the old owners, but the new owner April is great! You can tell she truly cares about animals and pays very carefull attention to all the needs of your pet. We have been taking our boxer there for years and I wouldn't take her elsewhere. They are caring and enthusiastic about these four legged creatures. You can tell everybody there loves animals. My dog doesn't care about anything anymore once I take her out of the car in the parking lot, she pulls me down the walk and straight to the door to the kennels ... who needs to check in, she mus be thinking ... We are always so happy to hear that Pet Pleasers has a space for our little Westley when we go away. The space is clean and staff is friendly. The only reason for it not being 5 stars is that they don't offer pick ups on Sundays, so when I get back into town on Sundays, I have to wait for Monday to pick up my dog. The prices and staff are hard to compete with and my dog is always happy to be dropped off there so I don't mind an extra day too much. read more

I'm so happy we decided to board our dog, Jake, at Pet Pleasers. After speaking with April the first time you know right away that your pet is in good hands. She called a few times during our trip to check in and let me know how Jake was doing and explained all that they were doing to keep him comfortable. I appreciated this so much because I know Jake gets nervous when he's in an unfamiliar place and he needs a little extra love. I wholeheartedly agree with the other two reviews. I can't say enough good things about April and Pet Pleasers. I have a very difficult older dog who had never been boarded or away from home in the 5+ years since I rescued her off the street. April and her staff went out of their way to make things work for her - she got the royal treatment and I had piece of mind. It is obvious that these people really care about animals. Being able to take a tour of the facility ahead of time made my decision to use them easier. Plus, I think the prices are very reasonable. I now know that I can go away (which has been an extremely rare occurrence in the last 10 years) when I need to and my dog will be well cared for. Thank you Pet Pleasers! I dropped off our 2 small dogs in June for a weekend. I have done this quite a few times and our dogs have been in good shape, but this time due to the high temperatures in June the dogs were miserable! They were so hot to the touch, and took a very long time to cool down. Keep in mind folks that they don't have air conditioning so you may not want to leave them during the warmer months. Also, we were told we could call and check on our dogs any time at all....you can, but your calls are not always returned. read more

I've been using Pet Pleasers since rescuing my dog, Shea. She was only 4 months old when I had to leave her for the first time and I had no idea where to go. After visiting a few kennels, I found April and the immediate vibe I got from her, the employees, and the kennel itself was amazing! I knew there was absolutely nowhere else I was going to leave my furry baby. Not only can you "drop in" (which is very important to get a true feel for anywhere you're going to leave your dog), but April and her staff take time to talk and get to know each dog. They actually moved my pup on her first visit to make her feel more secure and comfy! It's clear that they really, truly love what they do and since that first visit, Shea has been there several times. I find it comforting to know she's in such great hands with a loving, caring staff. Have been using Pet pleasers for more than a decade and really enjoy their personalized service. April and her staff are true professionals. The kennels are clean, bright, air conditioned and heated. She takes special care that all dogs brought in are treated like they would be in your own home. One time I had brought in a dog that the day before had swallowed something that she shouldn't have (unbeknownst to me) and after she passed it they had the vet check her just to make sure she was OK. If your looking for a place to board your dog or cat. You won't find a better place for your pet. The owner is hands on and very knowledgeable in the health care of you pet. Someone is there on premise 24/7. The staff are all animal lovers and take the next step when it comes to keeping your pet happy, clean and most important loved. If you want to go on vacation, use them for day care, have to run out of town this is a place you can leave your pet with the knowledge it will be with family. I wouldn't use anyone else. If I were to ever hear of a bad review, I'd immediately assume the client was the problem. I have been using them for over 16 yrs and will always bring my babies to April and her staff. I took my cocker spaniel there after my normal kennel was full. Initially everything sounded great on the phone. I spoke to Melissa and she told me that since my dog was older they had a spot for older dogs that don't like to move around to much,which is fine.when I got my dog back after 4 days at pet pleaders I noticed he was constantly running around the house. This is not his typical behavior,he is 14 years old so he usually just lays around in his own recliner. So I decide to take a look and I find FLEAS! He wasn't to the point of scratching yet but they were everywhere on him. I immediately take him to get a flea bath and flea bomb my house.... Three weeks later I am still flea bombing my house, his recliner is now in the dump,my wife and 5 year old and 4 month old baby are staying in a hotel and I'm loosing time from work tending to the fleas... When pet pleasers was made aware of my situation all they said was they treat the inside areas for fleas but not the outside grass area that they walk the dogs. Not even an apology! My 14 year old dog has never had a flea his whole life,and now he's suffering. I'm not looking for my money back or anything,but I will not be using or referring anyone to pet pleasers read more
