A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

It shouldn't be on the client to check in with you on Day 3 to know if you're taking care of their pets. Crickets do not reassure someone on vacation who's never used your service before. 2. If you are going over to their house every day to feed/water the pets and clean the litterbox, ensure that the number of bags in the trash match the number of days you were supposedly visiting. We're paying for each visit. If there is half the number of expected bags in the trash it does not give us much confidence that you were there every day--or at least doing what was expected of you every day. 3. If you are getting low on any supplies or food left by the client, text/call the client to inform them and offer to pick up more--and feel free to add a surcharge for the inconvenience. We did not need to return home late to find no dry food in the house and wonder if the pets were fed at all that day. 4. Invoice the client within 2-3 days after the job is done--don't wait almost two weeks for the client to ask for their invoice (we also asked for our key back because the first time will be the last time we use this service). You're getting paid for this service, right? Be organized and attentive. If it's not already obvious, we will be looking for another pet sitter in the future.

The doctor paid for it herself, and only let me know after the fact. 3. My family had to say goodbye to an older cat, named Tika. My mom's cat, 18 years old, and she was ready to go. We took her to this establishment to have her put to sleep, and today my family received a card from the Arbor Day Foundation stating that a tree was planted in a forest in need in Tika's memory, by a donation from this wonderful place. We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once.
