Took my doggie here for his first haircut and I was please with they way he came out! I wasn't really specific to them to which kind of cut style I wanted since I was more concerned about getting all his long hair gone for the summer. They did a really good job getting him super clean and neat around the hardest area, ears were clean and they trimmed his claws. Total was $56 for full grooming so I think it was reasonable price. They only think I wish they change is the long wait! Had to drop him off at 8:00am and pick him up at 12:00 noon. I really don't get that part, specially that it can be scary for a puppy to be left out for so long in a new environment but thank god my baby still look happy when he saw me I would come back for sure

    No matted fur for jack!

I bring my dog here every few months or so and I just love the place. They do such a great job with my 80 pound pup. He's a golden doodle and requires frequent grooming. He usually makes a fuss about going to other places but he loves the owners. He always looks so cute after a grooming here!

This is Maxxine 3/19/2015, I just picked her up from Pet Spa!!

It was such a nice experience and really enjoyed the amount of assurance that my cat was in good hands. His haircut is so cute

Hi we would love to board our 3 month 7lb havanese pup what is your charge per night?

Hi, sorry we have been closed for the holidays. We charge $44.00 per calendar date for boarding a dog. This includes everything. We feed Nutro dry food. If you prefer a different food you are welcome to bring it. If you have any questions please…

We have a pointer mix who is approximately 65 pounds, short-hair. How much do you charge for a bath, nail trim and nail filing? She always seems to have sharp nails even after PetCo in Teterboro do the above.

Hi Diane! As she is a mix I would have to see her. It would be $48 or a little less. The grooming includes, full luxury bath, conditioner, ear cleaning, deshedding, drying and nail trimming. We will cut her nails as short as possible! If you have…

How much are your services? Are there packages for wash, haircut, and nail trim?

Hi Silvia! Our grooming prices include bathing, gross cut, precision final cut, ear cleaning and nail trimming. Please let me know what breed of dog you have, so that I can give you an accurate price.…

For context, we typically only bring our cats in about once a year when their winter coats begin to shed. Because of this, it's especially important that the grooming is done thoroughly and by someone experienced. We had previously been loyal clients of Kim, who consistently handled our cats with efficiency and care. Grooming is very stressful for them, so finding someone capable and experienced was extremely important to us. With Kim, we could always count on a full, thorough service: bathing, drying, shaving where needed, knot removal, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary care. That level of care is why we were willing to travel and pay a premium. When we arrived this time, we were surprised to learn the business was under new ownership. We decided to give it a chance. We dropped our cats off at 9:00 AM as the first appointment of the day and were told the process would take approximately 3 hours, which we were completely fine with. Around 11:20 AM, we received a brief call asking if one of our cats should be shaved. We were told they would use their judgment, and that was the only communication we received. By 1:00 PM (now 4 hours later), we returned to check in. What we found was extremely concerning: * One cat had reportedly urinated out of stress and, according to staff, nothing beyond a basic cage bath had been done. * We were also told at that point by Donna that she was uncomfortable handling him and that he would need to be sedated for grooming in the future. This was alarming to hear, as this has never been an issue in the past, he was always successfully groomed by Kim without sedation. * The other cat was still in the process of drying after only being bathed. * Neither cat had received any of the grooming services we came in for (no haircut, no knot removal, no nail trimming, no ear cleaning, etc.). * One of our cats was left drying in a cage next to a continuously barking dog, despite other quieter, more isolated spaces being available. * Both cats were visibly terrified. There had been no proactive communication to inform us of any issues, delays, or inability to complete the grooming. After over four hours, essentially no meaningful grooming had been performed. While Donna was polite, it was clear that she was uncomfortable explaining the situation. Only after we arrived did they begin attempting to brush one of our cats, which raised concerns about whether anything would have been addressed had we not shown up when we did. We ultimately left with two cats who were still matted, unkempt, and significantly more distressed than when we dropped them off. Our main concern is not just that the grooming wasn't completed; it's the lack of communication and the apparent inability to handle cats in a setting that claims to offer those services. Based on this experience, the facility does not appear properly equipped or experienced in feline grooming. We were offered complimentary future services, but unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded our trust. No incentive would make us feel comfortable returning. If you are a cat owner, especially with breeds that require specialized grooming, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about experience and process before booking here.

Let me tell you about the two worst veterinary experiences I've ever had ~ both at this Vetco/Petco…read morelocation. My first visit was for my 13-week-old kitten's "free" first wellness visit (be warned: it is not actually free). When I arrived, the receptionist told me my kitten could roam around the exam room while we waited for the veterinarian. A few minutes later, the doctor came in and, after a tense interaction, abruptly told me that it was recommended that cats not roam freely in the room. I was completely taken aback. I would have gladly kept my kitten in her carrier had anyone told me that. Instead, I received conflicting information from their own staff and felt like I was being reprimanded for following instructions I had just been given. The appointment itself was disappointing. Rather than receiving meaningful guidance as a first-time kitten owner, the visit largely consisted of being pitched their membership program and having a topical flea and tick treatment applied. I left feeling like I had learned almost nothing about my kitten's health. Fast forward four days, and my kitten began experiencing blood in her stool. Naturally, I was concerned. Parasites such as Giardia and Coccidia are common in young kittens, so I immediately contacted Vetco and requested a full fecal panel. Because this location is roughly 40 minutes from my home, I specifically asked whether I could bring in a fresh stool sample first and return with my kitten if necessary. I was told that would be fine. I drove all the way back with the sample and explained the situation to both the front desk staff and the technician. The employee I dealt with (a younger woman with monotone voice/expression, curly dark hair + glasses) was the same person who had assisted me during my first visit. Both times, she was incredibly short, dismissive, and rude. I made it very clear that I wanted a complete fecal workup, including testing for Giardia and Coccidia. I was told they would run a "fecal panel". Nobody told me additional tests were needed, nobody explained there were separate parasite screenings available, and nobody gave me the option to purchase additional testing. The next day, I called for results and was told the sample was negative for parasites. Wanting clarification, I specifically asked whether Giardia and Coccidia had been tested. The answer was no. When I asked why, given that I had repeatedly requested a full panel, I was told those were separate tests. That information would have been extremely useful while I was standing in the clinic with the sample in hand. I would have happily paid for every recommended test at that time. Instead, multiple staff members failed to communicate critical information, resulting in wasted time, additional stress, and no real answers regarding my kitten's condition. The common theme throughout both visits was poor communication, lack of attention to detail, and an overwhelming focus on selling memberships rather than providing quality veterinary care. These were my first two visits to Vetco, and they will absolutely be my last. As a pet owner, I expect clear communication, competent guidance, and staff who genuinely care about helping animals. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
