I come here on a regular basis. I bring my dog here to the groomers and Amanda who is the grooming manager is wonderful. She puts so much time and energy into taking care of my dog that I specifically request her when I make my appointments. There is also a self-service dog wash and it's super convenient to stop by and use rather than bathing your dog at home. They even provide shampoo and conditioner and towels as part of the service. I love how they carry a multitude of brands that you can't find at Petco. read more

Went to stop here for pet food and immediately got back in my car and left. Would not recommend this business to anyone. NO responsible groomer would EVER shave the intact coat of husky. Yet here they are proudly shaving a husky in their window. Yikes! read more

Very clean and busy shop with washing stations for the pets that you do yourself, saving you from cleanup at home. The manager and trainee were very professional and though a bit slower due to training still processed my order quickly. Brighter and better lit than the one in Short Hills as it has a lot more windows. read more

Pet Supplies Plus has been a god send since getting our dog last year. We drive out of our way to pick up food + goodies since they really add up when you're pup is in the 70+ pound range. There's almost always a couple available weekly if you check out their Instagram or sign up for their email. They also run regular promos on boutique brands like Stella's. It's a huge money saver for us and makes restocking supplies a breeze. Our girl loves coming here and getting to smell all the smells and solicit pets from everyone who will give her attention. Grooming. Amanda is awesome. We recently adopted a 1 year old Shih tzhu mix. He has never been groomed professionally and although he is sweet we suspected he would not be cooperative. Amanda was great with him. She wasn't able to muzzle him, but still managed to groom he face reasonable well. His body looks great. She listened to my requests and groomed him just as we requested. Not only does this place carry it in stock, they keep a lot of variety AND have it at a decent price! Friendly check-out (one of the guys walking the floor jumped behind the register to check out our purchase so we didn't have to wait in line - super considerate!) and clean store. Love this store!! Excellent variety and convenient "in town" locations, so I don't have to run out to the Highway every time I need some pet items. The stock of both the cat and dog items offers a huge array of options and I got everything I needed for a couple of months in one trip. I was so upset when PetValu closed in my town because I loved the convenience of stopping in while doing my other in town errands. We started coming here fairly soon after they opened, we love not having to drive out to Rt. 10 for things for our dog Jake. Their prices are as good as and often better than Chewy. We were in this morning to buy dog food and we were told about the free dog washes that weekend. Since our dog is a little nervous around other dogs I called ahead around 8pm and they said they absolutely understood his nervousness and work well with dogs who are shy or overwhelmed at other dogs. When we arrived the staff wonderfully prepared the space and we got right to work. Staff did advise us on the air dry devise and they also provide towels for those dogs who might be afraid of the air dryer which was appreciated. Jake did great and the wash package they sell we will definitely be back for. Thank you for make this a great experience and your wonderfully consistent customer service. Finally a better alternative to "Agway" and Amazon. Not only do they have a great selection of supplies but they also offer "pet showers" that customers can either wash their pet or they offer as a service to owners. Agway: Customer Service is wanting to say the least and they lack the inventory. Amazon: Hill Science Diet would sell my orders to different vendors who I knew nothing about. read more

I just shopped for the first time at this store and I warn you to never go there. Firstly, there was dog urine all over the floor. Secondly, they had staff all over the store but none of them could not answer any questions or knew the products. Lastly, when I was in my car about to leave, the owner of the store knocked on my window startling me and accused my dog of peeing 4 times in her store. She didn't ask me if I was aware, she just came out and accused me. She then proceeded to lecture me about taking my dog to the bathroom before visiting her store. I have had dogs all my life and my dog is 5 years old and very well trained. The truth is my dog did peed once and I asked the guy at the check out if he wanted me to clean it up. It's very hard for any dog not to pee when there is other dogs urine all over the store. I intend to call the health department on Monday myself and the consumer affairs bureau. Strongly suggest you dont shop here. Very unhappy customer. read more
