tried to buy the two anoles they have there. they refused to sell them to me as they didn't feel my 120 gallon setup was sufficient enough because there was another gecko in there. argued that the animals have different needs. I don't recommend this store as they are not fully educated on what their own animals actual needs are. This is strictly a conscience store. Only use it if it's your last option as everything in the store is grossly overpriced. For example 199 dollars for a basic ball python. Just so everyone knows, use morph marker to buy these kinds of pets as ball pythons are only 25 To 30 dollars. Please do some research before throwing money down the drain here. read more

I have been going to this store due to convenience and have had good visits. However, yesterday when I visited I was very disappointed. When I checked out I could not find my 20% off coupon. Which since retiring is a good savings. I spent $68.00. I left and found the coupon in my car, I returned to the store and asked if I could apply the 20%. Courtney the asst said no way. I returned the products and she would not let me re-purchase citing company policy. I had to go through the store and recollect what I need. This is my last visit to this store. I will be making the drive from my home to Sterling to patronize Pet Smart. I routinely spent $50-$100 per visit. Treat me like I treated my customers for years and I'll be loyal. Try to get more out of me with a ridiculous policy and I'm gone. In these times a few bucks sometimes makes the difference. Had Courtney understood this I would be singing their praises. Now, Pet Supplies plus is just another store in a line of trying to make a buck at my expense. read more

This store used to be pretty nice but it's gone down the tube in the last 6-8 months. The conditions they keep the aquariums/fish in are pretty bad. Dead fish, cloudy water, excessive debris floating on top of the water as well as settled on the bottoms. Workers there had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the 25% off fish sale that was in their flyer and didn't even attempt to find out about it so they could answer the questions I had. I didn't really look at anything else while I was there so I can't judge the rest of the place but I sure hope it was better than what I did see read more

I love the order online and pay then they call or email when it is ready. You go park out front. Call to tell them you're here and pop the trunk! It doesn't get any easier then that. I shop there regularly now because the manager during the day is so awesome. He always goes above and beyond to help me and I usually need a lot of help, lol. If they don't have the product I need, he orders it and let's me know as soon as it comes in. He has literally helped me shop for everything, from dog dental care, dog diapers, collars, leashes, treats, bones, toys, bedding, bagged food, fresh food, cat litter, cat food, cat treats, etc etc. He is the best! He always tells me about coupons or deals so I can save money...he knows I have 2 huge dogs, 2 small dogs and a cat and buying science diet for all of them gets expensive. read more

The closest store for me is 12 miles and I get really sick and tired of driving there and 2 out of 3 times what I need is gone. The brand I buy must be in high demand so obviously you need to order more to keep the shelves stocked. read more

I normally stop numerous times a week ....surprised last week I'm faced with no inventory for my usual cat food ....inquiry of shipment I get "we've been too busy to put it out" have to ask the associate to please check in the back (it's recommended to not change foods cold turkey) ....they suggested I go to sterling as they have none .....seriously....I spend a descent amount of money here (cat, dog, birds, seed, toys, etc) there were three associates on the floor when I was there yet everyone was too busy to help a regular customer....very very disappointed ....guess sterling gets my regular business read more

I went into pet supply plus with my 8 week old puppy. We walked in - no greeting. We shopped, no assistance offered, we checked out- not one acknowledgement that i had a brand new puppy in my hands! When I went to the store later and talked to a manager I explained our shopping experience. The store associate, Cheyenne, told me it wasn't her job to acknowledge that I had a puppy in her store. WOW. She works at a pet store and won't acknowledge pets brought in. It seems this 'pet' store is NOT so welcoming and very much NOT pet friendly. I dont recommend anyone takes their pet fish hee, let alone a fur baby. read more

I use to work at this location and boy has it gone down hill! First off no greeting when I walk in the door. It was me and one other customer with a cashier a floater and what I assume was the manager. Not one person said hello or asked if I needed help finding anything. My savers card for some reason is no longer in the system and the cashier didn't offer to sign me up either. You could tell the staff did not want to be there today. And honestly the level of customer service I didn't want to be there either. Sad to see what once was a good store with great enthusiastic staff now an " I'm only here because I have bills to pay" kind of staff. Won't be coming back. read more
